The best restaurants serving Default food in Vale of White Horse South East

We were a big group with kids. Pre ordered our food but it still took forever to come out, and then was pretty awful all round. Staff were friendly but had no clue what was going on. Very disappointing

Just had takeaway 1/9/24 It was awful Dry chicken Pitta bread soaked in fat Had to throw it away Waste of £26.50 Old salad Emailed no reply

After waiting 1 hour in a empty restaurant for food came out and chicken was raw. Not just a little bit, still dark red. I was then told to follow staff member to the office for a refund and was aggressively shouted at by another member of staff for using the wrong entrance to the office.

Have eaten in the Kingsgrove Cafe a few times, food is pricey but worth it with good quality ingredients and a nice seating area, also good quality coffee. There are also lovely young ladies that normally serve us, however I had a shocking recent experience this week. Older gentleman with white hair (didn’t get a name - was scared to ask) was extremely rude, spoke to the nice young waitress horribly and used foul language. Considering I had a child with me and was met with a grunt and no apology when questioned - I will sadly never return while this man works here. Apologies to the lovely young lady for the bad service review - the man really lets your good work down.

Awful experience never again, they need more staff. People pushing in to get there wild beans absolutely chaotic place.

Visited this morning after the recent refurbishment. Wasn’t disappointed! We ordered a Full English breakfast, and a Potting Shed breakfast (Eggs Benedict with black pudding & bacon) Everything was brought to our table, the waitresses were brilliant … the food was tasty and filling. We will be back 🙂
