The best restaurants serving Default food in Bexley London

Our first time and didn't disappoint, absolutely stunning food, we had Truffle Aranchi Mushrooms, Smoked Swordfish Salad then Octopus and Beef Ribs Ragu followed by Lemon Meringue Pie and Bread/Butter Pud with Pecans. Liked the way Maria went round all the tables getting feedback and all the staff were very attentive and friendly. Great atmosphere and very authentic. Will definitely visit again.

Amazing polite staff, beautiful pub but the food such a letdown lukewarm, hardly any chicken in the curry and the starters full of oil sorry truth is the truth

Why does this place have such a high rating? The cafe just doesn't look right - the tables are dirty, the food is very plain and dry, when I asked for ketchup or sauce, they came late and almost empty... One old lady who was serving there was a bit weird... she kept calling me her best friend, then her son, she was kind of sucking up to me and not letting me eat in peace... I don't know, maybe in China where she is from, it's normal, but it bothered me

After eating here with my husband and enjoying the food I decided to order for my birthday lunch at home, so in essence Cedrus catered for my birthday ! I went for all their lovely starters and basically had every starter on the menu x 2. The food was delicious and my friends loved it. It was so easy to arrange and once I collected anything that needed heating I put it in the oven to warm up. No stress for my birthday!

We went to coast bistro cafe last Sunday with all my cousins food and service really good special hill she was amazing service we do love to coast bar and bar grill we definitely going to book in 2 weeks time be here again

Had several visits prior to lockdown food always above average and special service from nice ladies would recomend.

We had a really lovely light lunch today at this wonderful bespoke tea room. Very warm and friendly service, very reasonably priced too and the iced latte was to die for! Best I’ve had this summer and I’ve had many. Highly recommend

What a cafe! Forget the usual Costa, Strabucks, Pret... There's real quality here, and you'll feel like at home. I went with family friends to buy food for a picnic (at Kew Gardens, which are amazing) and both the savoury and the sweet stuff were incredible. Italian style panini, avocado and dried tomatoes sandwich, vegan sausage rolls... All great, and the pastries too!

Quite a new establishment in the area. Came in for a takeaway coffee recently, but didn’t get any food so can’t comment on that. The coffee was nice and they seem to have a lot of fresh produce on offer. Seems like a nice concept, I wish them all the best.

Excellent cafe the breakfast is excellent value for money and the lamb chop meal is delicious and well cooked The only downside is it does not open in the evening

Tasty food friendly staff and good value. Been a few time for breakfasts and baguettes for lunches. Nice to sit in and also takeaway.

The food was amazing. The service was impeccable. Definitely would recommend them. I had the small trays of Ayamashe, jollof rice, garnished chicken and fried rice (the prawns size - amazing).

Fab Irish bar in the heart of Sidcup, really nice atmosphere, the band were great and everyone (aside from me, who wasn’t Irish enough) was singing along ! Really enjoyed it !

Currently abroad, but really miss this cafe. Just love the panini's, coffee and sandwiches. Pablo our dog also looks forward a bite or two of a cheese panini. Charlie and staff provide excellent friendly service. I cannot recommend Chestnuts more highly. An oasis in todays frenetic world. Great food and brilliant service.😊👍
