The best restaurants serving British food in Shepton West Mendip South West

Just got back from a fabulous stay at historic Bowlish House. From the moment you walk into the hall and see the sweeping staircase you know you are in for a treat. Every part is filled with character, which is enhanced by all the thoughtful touches which made my stay so comfortable. What stood out most though was the warmth shown by the owners Maryanne and Mark. They really do care about their guests and nothing is too much trouble for them. My review wouldn’t be complete without a special mention of Maryanne’s delicious vegan food. Every aspect of my experience was more than worthy of five stars - thank you so much Mark and Maryanne for your amazing hospitality. I will be back!
