The best restaurants serving British food in Chatburn Ribble Valley North West

We were a group of 6 and from arriving at the Assherton Arms the staff were so welcoming...it has beautiful views of the mountains so picturesque. It has a very relaxed atmosphere but very much a first rate restaurant and accommodation. Kayleigh served us our evening meal and breakfast this morning and directed us to the famous Pendle Hill walk which was also a Wow!.. Thank you Kayleigh for making our stay such a wonderful experience which we all enjoyed immensely.

Me and my partner went for a early tea the other weekend . Let me say first the service is really good but the food is not great. I ordered the chicken and chorizo burger . It came and it honestly looked like something me two year old has mashed together. It didn’t even look like chicken one bit and the bacon was way over done . We had starters first and I’d not been finished eating and had just rested my fork on the edge of the plate and the waiter came up and me and went “finished that “? I said erm well I have now . It just felt like they were in a hurry to move us along and make us leave . Sadly won’t be returning
