The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in Teignbridge South West

This is the best burger I've ever had! , good vegan options too , great friendly service. Absolutely top marks

After a cold walk at Parke, our family, including my mother in law and toddler were very keen to get in the warm and look forward to tea and cake. We had planned our afternoon around it and looked online to check it was open. There were also many signs saying that they were open. So we were most disappointed when they had closed by 2.30 that afternoon. The lady at the national trust office said it was quiet so the owners had closed early, despite the car park being half full. She also said the national trust were independent from the cafe, despite having their logo on the actual cafe. It was very frustrating. A simple update on the website would have saved us from disappointment.
