I Ordered a vegan schwarma wrap and it was really nice, portion was bigger than I expected. Service was quick and friendly.

I like to believe I'm a curry connisure, This takeaway ticked all my boxes, especially the heat, and unless they let me down on future orders, they will remain my favourite in Newport.

Great bread, pasties and cakes. Their vegan pasties have a great home cooked quality to them. The staff are helpful and friendly just a top notch local bakery.

Lovely Welsh fry up - very clean and efficient, with really nice staff. Always busy, with local builders and workmen, which says a lot! Recommended!

I've been dragging my friend on a burger tour of Cardiff for a few months now. We've gone to some of the most recommended spots in town. I can honestly say, without exaggeration or hyperbole, that this was not only the best burger I've ever eaten, but one of the best meals I've had in my life - and that includes my grandmother's cooking. I knew the reviews were good. I knew that the restaurant owners owned the butcher's and the farm too, so I was prepared to enjoy myself. I was genuinely unprepared for just how good the food tasted. I could use phrases like "melt-in-the-mouth", "bursting with flavour", or "perfectly balanced", but I wouldn't be doing it justice. You have to experience it for yourself. The only burger I've had that came close was a lamb burger served on the farm where the animal had been slaughtered that morning. The freshness and quality of the ingredients here, from the homemade buns to the inspired toppings to the tender, juicy meat itself, are immediately apparent. I was both completely satisfied and could not get enough. I'm going to be dragging my friends and family here every chance I get - this place must stay open, it is a genuine Cardiff institution and Welsh national treasure. Again, I'm not exaggerating. P.S. Excellent cakes - staff always very friendly and helpful. Very good selection of cakes for every occasion. Have had quite a few birthday cakes, and cupcakes. All so light and fresh.

Been here a view times now with our dog in tow as it is dog friendly. You would never know that there are dogs about as they are all well behaved, so dont be put off if you are not a dog lover. There is also a lovely undercover outside seating area with blankets on hand to keep you warm.Lovely cup of coffee and not too overpriced. Lovely selection of cakes as well. Staff here are always very friendly and welcoming. It is always very busy when we have visited which is a good sign. Definitely recommend.

Fab fab this is the best slice of cake i have had, you could not ask for better great service, scrummy food, and absolutely wonderful staff. So if you are in the area why not pop in and try for your self.

We stopped off here after a walk around the woodland. Lovely clean and friendly cafe. We were invited to take our dogs into the cafe. Nice amount of space between tables and chairs for our 2 hounds to lay down. We ordered a pot of welsh tea, coffee and two scones with jam, butter and clotted cream. Scones were delicious, proper home made and beautifully fresh. Staff were lovely. Would recommend a visit. Plenty of parking space.

A lovely bakery inside a convenience store in Merythyr. A large selection of pasties, pies and sandwiches. With cooked meals to go, They also had a fantastic cakes and confectionery range and at a really good price. Staff were really friendly which is alway handy!
