There is no food in this pub unless you like crisps peanuts or pork scratching great atmosphere great landlord

Booked an apartment here for 5 people. (the apartment was advertised as suitable for 6) Dirty, damp, no table and chairs in the kitchen, a 2-seater sofa and a small coffee table in the sitting room, (for 5 people!) and we didn’t stay at all and booked into a hotel. Phoned KG and were assured we’d get a refund, and it would be confirmed by email. No email. Back and forth with KG and Booking.com with both trying to shrug responsibility. Eventually had to do a chargeback via credit card. The ‘Hotel’ isn’t a hotel by the way. It’s a derelict building. Empty. Rubbish piled up inside. Very unwelcoming.

This is one of my favourite pubs. It is always a nice atmosphere. We went here for a Christmas meal. Our entire party loved the food. It was absolutely lovely. Every single element was tasty. Service was excellent and we were regularly asked for drinks etc. The atmosphere is great, nice older pub ambience. One thing - I did ask for a 13 but they drew a 31.
