This cute little cafe with a knockout mediterranean soup sits near the end of a narrow road to the sea in Church Bay, far off most of the main thoroughfares on Anglesey. It's worth the detour. Uniquely decorated (special shout-out to the hilarious "Wi-Fi Password" sign in the toilet), dog-friendly, and staffed with some of the most delightful people I encountered in Wales. There's a pay lot for parking just up the hill from the restaurant, although plenty of other cars seemed to be using the shoulder of the road for free parking (as they do on most of Anglesey!). If you're worried about someone dinging your vehicle, the pay lot is fairly inexpensive.

Lovely, quality ingredients - Popeth Cymraeg (everything Welsh). Excellent service. More of a 'cafe' feeling than a pub now, there's also local gifts to peruse and purchase. A lovely experience.

This was our local pub whilst visiting Anglesey. We absolutely loved this place for so many reasons. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and warm. The toilets are spotless and even provide sanitary products free of charge. The landlord and landlady are very friendly, funny, warm and hardworking. Whilst we never had food there others said the food was lovely and all home cooked. The local villagers are so friendly and welcoming and also very funny. This is a little gem of a place

Wow. Like too many tourists we have driven round Anglesey, stopping at the tourist area for overpriced, indifferent food. Not here. Amazing value, and very tasty. OK, it is mainly a pub serving drinks for the locals. But the food is worth stopping for. It is on the main road so easy to visit.
