The best restaurants in North Wales

Amazing little place, very basic but it works.. the owner and his wife are lovely. Savoury and Sweet pancakes are amazing there. They do takeaways too!!!!. Absolutely worth trying out!!!.

Suarez makes the best kebabs - not just in Caernarfon, not just in North Wales, but probably in the whole world. The bread is the best bit - home made and cooked in front of you - and far better value than anywhere else. A must visit.

Lovely, quality ingredients - Popeth Cymraeg (everything Welsh). Excellent service. More of a 'cafe' feeling than a pub now, there's also local gifts to peruse and purchase. A lovely experience.

Absolutely fabulous shop with very helpful staff, if you like Chinese/Thai food and you like to cook then pay it a visit.

Made a stop here for a quick coffee before having a day out. Coffee was amazing and staff are super friendly. There’s only a couple of seats inside but they were happy enough to let us take shelter from the rain next door where they have some space. There’s plenty of outdoor seating if the weather is nice though. There’s lots of coffee options to choose from and lots of choices of beans (whole or ground) to take home. Will definitely go back when we are in the area next!

Went looking for a local brew before turning in for the night and found this gem. They offer their own brew in a space fitting a local pub and brewery.

Bought some vegan fudge here whilst visiting Llangollen. Staff were great at checking ingredients when I enquired about allergies. The fudge was so delicious I ended up coming back the next day to purchase more! Definitely worth a visit.

Becws Islyn, Nefyn beach café Friendly staff, great coffee, cakes and ice creams on the beach road at Nefyn.

What a lovely supprise went on just eat and fancied a change phoned carribean&beer and the food was lovely never had a chicken curry like that so much flavour and the chicken wings were 2 die for cant wait for the wknd to order again👍👍👍👍👍😃😃😃

Superb Sunday Lunch. Hubby had Pork and I had Turkey. Hot and plenty of veg, gravy and sauce. We both had starters. Soup particularly delicious, spicy vegetable. Prawn cocktail on a plate - I prefer in a glass ! I had a chocolate brownie - oops those calories ! Service excellent as usual. Thank you Michelle and team. Sue and John

Superb meat pies and friendly service. Traditional pies such as chicken ham (yummmmm) and plain pork. Really great traditional produce.

Friendly chap in the kiosk and very efficient. Ordered 2 takeaway teas and sat on one of the benches overlooking the view. Now, that's what we call a brew with a view!

Fantastic small garden centre & café in Tywyn. Phoned up the day before to see if they had any buddleia, and the man on the phone couldn't have been more helpful and remembered me the following day when i swung by to buy some plants. Really friendly Welsh service with a smile and a joke. Small little café inside - all reasonable prices and very clean and tidy. Free parking outside. Tucked away in an industrial estate to the east of the town, but very easy to find. Highly recommended!

We popped in for a a quick bite to eat after our lovely walk to the local waterfalls. We received great service from Linda who sorted us out with some amazing food! We ordered a pork and apple burger from the specials along with the chicken burger, cheesy nachos, prawn bap and cheesy chip bap! The food was great and perfect size for a portion and arrived quickly. Not only that was great value for money for 5 of us! Thanks so much for looking after us Linda we will be back on our next trip to Bala!

Typical seaside kiosk. Selling hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and freshly made dinky donuts. Buckets and spades, balls And other beach toys. Situated in the centre of Pensarn Promenade with ample outside seating and shelter. Free car parking on promenade car parks.
