The best restaurants in Aber-craf Powys Mid Wales

Turned un booked on a Friday night, staff are amazing so welcoming and friendly. Had a lovely pint and food is amazing in particular the burgers which went down a treat. Dog friendly through out with amazing service. Plenty of parking as well.

The food was good but that’s it , ordered Welsh rarebit but it wasn’t what we ordered, it was onion chutney and cheese on top, so totally wrong chefs need training in a dish that we all know so well in wales . But it tasted really good, if we ordered cheese on toast it’d be 4.5/5 , 2 star as it was just cheese on toast. The cawl was okay, but sadly the lamb wasn’t shredded it was blocks , so it just didn’t seem right. Like it wasn’t boiled for the amount of time it should have been and was slightly bland , tasted nice though but not that real cawl that we are used to. Once again tasted nice but a 3.5/5 .

The food here is really lovely. We attended after work for an evening meal, and we were all really impressed with the chef's food. I don't usually eat vegetarian dishes, but I tried the wild mushroom linguine after it was recommended, and it was delicious. We will definitely be eating here again when we are in the area.
