The best restaurants in Glasgow and Surrounding

Discovered this wee place a few months ago while out dog walking. It’s safe to say I’ve had to up my game to burn off the extra calories. The cakes are fresh and delicious and the raspberry jam is amazing. Think I might be one of the best customers now.

El desayuno aquí era fenomenal. La actividad y el ambiente es definitivamente una marca de su éxito. Visto y sentado en 30 minutos. Ordenó las tortitas ‘del día’, el eglefino ahumado rarebit escalfado huevo puerro, lado de pepinillos y bollo de patata. La comida era fenomenal, y me habría quedado un desierto si no estuviera tan lleno. El personal era encantador y apreciativo, especialmente estar constantemente ocupado. Tomaron nuestro número de teléfono y nos avisaron cuando había un espacio. Recomendado de boca en boca, y realmente no decepcionó. Fuera en un poco de palos, pero más de una excusa para explorar un lugar que no hemos estado, o tal vez no se nos hubiera ocurrido. Si estás en la zona, merece la pena visitarla.

Elsie and her team are brilliant, efficient and friendly. Typical wee cafe , breakfast rolls, chips , homemade soup salad rolls , baguettes and wraps etc . Decent coffee and best cup of tea around. Very reasonably priced !!! Sit in or takeaway . Parking available in front or carpark a few yards away . Worth a drop in .

My wife and I decided on a whim to come here for a couple of hours in the beer garden. We ordered a couple of mocktails, and decided to stay for a quick bite to eat. The food was great, the drinks were amazing, and the service prompt yet attentive. We look forward to returning!

Very friendly atmosphere! Watched the football with a coffee and a lovely bit of Turkish delight. Very reasonably priced, would recommend

So sad this closed down, where did it go! such lovely baking and fresh rolls. Hopefully it will pop back up in battlefield soon.

The food here was really great. Everything coming out of the small kitchen looked amazing, it was quiet, affordable, great service, and a hidden treasure close to the chaotic tourist zone. I feel really lucky to have come across it and went back the next day. Food is fresh light and perfect for a change from heavy pub fare. If you are lucky enough to get a table it's well worth the stop.

Tenía una hermosa comida. Estaba muy impresionado con la comida, el servicio y el personal. La tabla de quesos era increíble, una de las mejores que he probado y he tenido algunas. Tienes que ir si tienes la oportunidad.

We have been here many times over the years. Lorraine and her family are lovely and welcoming. The food is second-to-none. They are always very kind to our puppy, Rio, which we appreciate very much. Thank you!

best coffee in town! coffee and homemade toasted scone only £3.50, was absolutely delicious , great friendly staff too! will definitely be back :)!

Have eaten from this takeaway on many occasions and found the food lovely and fresh! Would reccomend manzil for Indian food , and they also do burgers fish and chips etc so plenty of choice. Good quick service sometimes a bit busier at weekends and may have a wait.

This is a well liked soup and sandwich shop, as can be seen from the number of customers at peak times. Good homemade soups, great sandwiches for lunch, fantastic breakfast rolls. Great service and friendly staff, well worth a visit.
