The best restaurants in Cookstown Southern NI

Good location, nice bright and airy. Staff are helpful and the food is good. Breakfasts are good value and tasty. Only thing is the windows on side are very open, people sat in their cars can watch you eat every mouthful. Maybe some frosting on the lower windows may help?

I was gagging for this Chinese and when I got it I was left a bit disappointed. Ribs are average, chilli chicken was decent to be fair but the noddles of my god. They are as dry and a nuns fanny, have they not cooked them Whos knows. 3 out of 5 is generous

Lunch today was here. Was asked if there was a menu was told the board was being updated. Order was taken and was able to watch it being cooked in front of me. Have to say Pomery must be in a Covid free zone, only one other customer had a facemask on. None used the hand sanitiser. Orders were taken over the phone and sorted as well. Order a cheeseburger. Would have preferred grated cheese, not slices. Food warm and tasty enough.

Myself and my family had a beautiful meal in the Greenvale hotel yesterday evening , we will most definitely be back & this is going to be our new place from now on. Food was 10/10 the best fillet steak I’ve had in a long time , everyone else loved theirs too.. staff were very polite and you could eat your dinner off the floor in the toilets they were that clean. Keep up the great service Greenvale. Will DEFINITELY be back soon. 10/10

Good wee Italian with great service and good prices. 3rd time here, still working through the menu and enjoying the relaxed, friendly, atmosphere.

Pizza required fork for support as the base had a lack of structural integrity which caused the sliding off of toppings. BBQ sauce was foul.

I came here because it was the only chipper within 10 miles that was open this tueday night. Ordered 2 fish and chips and they were pretty good. My girlfriend is fairly fussy when it comes to her fish and chips and she quite liked hers too. The only thing i might comment on is the lack of friendliness from the staff which is fairly non existent as theyre tucked and hidden away from sight by piles and stacks of cartons and junk from the entire cornet, the hot counter snd right to the only gap at the till. Either very shy or a tad antisocial........... Shame because i liked the food

Great service from a local Chinese. The staff went above and beyond to assist with our dietary requirements. (Gluten free) Sinley has a extensive Gluten free menu which was explained in detail to us when ordering. We went for the Honey chilli chicken and Ginger beef with boiled rice. It was first class. Will certainly be our regular Chinese now. 😁😁

Went to tilley lamp, before. Which was great, good portion sizes. Yesterday, I went back for my birthday. my partner ordered mash for his side, one and a half scoop came out. I couldn't believe it. I ordered the steak, medium rare. It came out well done. Too much mushrooms, that looked like they were boiled and not fried. Too many tobacco onions. Most places you get pepper sauce with the meal, not at tilley lamp, you have to order sauce separately. I just don't think I'll be back. Very disappointed. Food was very average.
