Excellent food and service and really cozy vibes!

Really enjoyed our two visits to The Stag Inn, once for an after walk coffee and beer and secondly for a meal the next day. Both locals and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming - we had a truly sociable time and enjoyed a fantastic meal in cosy surroundings. The menu is hearty and the food superbly presented and delicious. The pub is well behaved dog friendly and our old boy collie curled up in front of the roaring fire after a day on the Pennine hills while locals and staff gave him fuss and treats! Thanks so much to you all - we really look forward to coming back...
