We were at a funeral that day for a family member who live on the next road, we took the kids in for a quick bite, food was nice, my son asked for a sausage sandwich without butter and he got one with, which the lady quickly sorted . Not expensive either.
Found this jewel of a cafe last year so no question of whether to order the Travel lodge breakfast or go here again. Super clean, all food fresh and cooked breakfast is a must. Fantastic value, lovely, clean venue and service and attention are second to none!

My twin brother Stephen and I visited this cafe before and 3rd national lockdown descended, we were in fact on our way to The Dispensary Pub and decided to drop into Moonlight and what a very pleasant time we had.
A lovely interior, a vivid pink 💗 look ,a cool glass fronted serving bar, lovely decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this cafe, its a cosy cafe to unwind in.
My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Wednesday evening, greeted with a smile by a very pleasant member of the staff, we gave our details of name and phone number to assist with the governments track and trace system and then sanitised our hands, we were allocated a table were we ordered a flat white coffee each, these were served in excellent condition being steaming hot, we just kicked back, chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this very laid back cafe.
From the first sip till the last sup you can tell they use quality ingredients in their coffee and take great pride in the coffee they serve, it was just so good being in such a lovely cafe enjoying a quality brew.
We both really enjoyed our coffee's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Moonlight we had a great time.
Moonlight is easy to locate along Renshaw Street, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants.
Most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area and when the 3rd and final lockdown is lifted.
Great service, excellent sweet treats been multiple times for cakes and brownies and have never ever been disappointed. The woman who bakes everything is so lovely as well and always makes sure her customers have everything they want x
Great place a little of the track. Awesome friendly service, nothing seems too much trouble. Wide and varied menu from huge daily specials that fill you up for the day to light bites for a snack. I’ve now schedule 2 meetings a week here and the moment I walk through the door I get a warm and friendly welcome and a cup of tea and what a brew it is. Give it a go if you are near by. Highly recommended.
Ordered the Chick’n Burger with some B*con Mac n Cheeze, just incredible! Such good fake chicken too. I’ve already planned my next order - cannot wait!
First time visiting the area called in for fish and chips at lunch time eat inside found the food excellent very friendly staff. Will call again when in the area. Thanks
This little cafe is an absolute hidden gem! Tucked away in a side street off Claremont road, but we’ll worth seeking out.
Delicious food, generous portion and super friendly welcome and service. Highly recommend the veggie dishes number 6 and number 7 on the menu 🥰
They have Ethiopian beer and wine by the glass very reasonable. Will definitely be back x
i walked passed here the other day but had already eaten - so determined to go back and try it on another day
