Poor service and tried both card payment witch they don’t take and direct debit absolute joke

Good donner wrap - large and tasty, Wasnt waiting long. Had to order online to use card whilst standing inside the shop, they could really do with a card machine.

Standards have plummeted. Was very good years ago, not so much now. Prices have went up and the quality has went down. Won't be ordering again.

Excellent but could accept card payments. Cash only is a bit archaic

This is absolute slop any idea what it is? Other than a total waste of money. Nobody cared what it looked like and should never have gone out the shop

I fancied Chinese so called my trusty Dynasty but the other half wanted a donner calzone so, even though he knows we've been burned by them before with uncooked chicken, old dry kebab meat and fries etc etc..he still ordered his calzone - with extra cheese and hot sauce inside, a garlic naan with an extra portion of cheese inside that....and, well, what he got charged for was a king-size kebab, extra cheese, extra chilli sauce, garlic naan and another extra portion of cheese....which, obviously, is not what he ordered and even if it was that is not what he received - what he got was, a tub with about enough to fill a small kebab, of meat and a sprinkle of cheese on top, a garlic naan with a sprinkle of cheese in the middle and another, plain garlic naan..with no extra sauce, just the sauce you get with a kebab. Needless to say, especially after waiting over an hour for said food, we were both quite upset, I called to complain about the order being wrong and the lady's attitude was absolutely awful, saying "well, that was what was charged for so that's what you got" but not grasping the point that the order was completely wrong and even if it had been what we asked for - it certainly was not a king size kebab!! The woman who took the call could not have been any more rude and never once apologised for THEIR mistake but when she said she was about to offer to resolve the matter, I asked how and, laughably, her way of resolving it was to ask for her the next time we ordered..!! Like, how is that resolving our issue TONIGHT?? It is not so, no thanx!! Also, after being sent out raw chicken and day old chips and kebab meat from Zio G's Linlithgow in the past, this is definitely the last straw..we will not spend another penny here. Shocking service, no matter how much is spent. Customer is always right and all that remember..?!

Got munchy box at about 5.30pm, most of it cold goodness knows when it was cooked, pakoras chewy, chips soggy the whole thing was really bad, won't be back, avoid this place

Great place amazing food was camping and got them for first time and they were happy to drop off to as close to my camp as possible thank you verry much

So having had this happen one to many times, I had to then put it at this rating due to the negligence of the kitchen. If they are properly trained then they would know blackened or burnt food creates acrylamide, a dangerous chemical that causes cancer. The fact that this was sent out the kitchen THIS black is shocking. I am a chef, I am trained in this and I would never have sent this not just because of quality but because of the danger. Any one reading this, never accept burt or blackened foods. The meal I got (calzone) had to be taken apart to remove the burt parts so I could atleast eat something. 2nd photo is of a direct note to the shop saying NO SALAD DUE TO ALLERGEN and guess what.... salad was included. An absolute danger and one to be reported to EHO.

Fantastic full size kebab boxes and pizza

The food as always was delicious, fresh and tasty. Nothing is ever too much trouble they always go the extra mile to get it just right. Would highly recommend a visit. One of the best pizzas we have had and that is saying something when you have super fussy kids.

We stopped by for Fish and chips, special fish , pizza and pasta for us adults and can honestly say this is the freshest takeaway I have eaten out of, everything was delicious. I’m not from the area but I will be making the extra 15 mins to come more often. Thank you Zio G’s for making Friday tea time a delight!

My food arrived cold no heat what so ever and when I called to complain the woman needs customer care training she was so cheeky. Wouldn’t leave a star if it was an option

We love a Zio Gs but tonight it was awful. Pork was so dry. Disgusting food was cold on delivery hubby said his curry Hoggy was vile aswell. Do they have a new chef.? If so. Sack him. Please😡😡😡😠

Very slow service. Maybe I'm spoilt but the large kebabs we get in Gloucester are twice the size of these and come with proper chilli sauce not some weird mustard sauce. £9:80 for a chicken kebab is very expensive.

We love a Zio G's takeaway, reasonably priced and very very tasty.

Use Zio gs regularly, love the food. But the customer service is shocking. Mistakes can be made yes but to make a customer out to be lying over a can of juice is ridiculous. Placed order online and part of the order was a bottle of juice and a can of juice. Wrong juice was delivered and no can. Delivery driver was pleasant and said I’ll get that changed for you, I then phoned and said can wasn’t here with the delivery. Replacement juice came but still no can. Phoned shop and was told I had received the juice cause the driver said so. I was clearly lying. Wrong attitude for customer service. Driver then showed up with can of juice…… looking forward to your reply with a reasonable apology

The food is absolutely incredible! We got a norcina pasta and it is hands down the best pasta I’ve had. The chicken kebab was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to go back!!

ordered a pasta for my grandmother and chips for myself, chips were ok but pasta wasn’t cooked properly and was hardly any sauce in it, they quickly sent me another saying it would be better, it was exactly the same pasta wasn’t cooked properly tasted like it had been reheated in the microwave, won’t be ordering again.

Avoid!! We just got a baked potato which was black inside and rotten. The chicken kebab was way over cooked chicken was dry and like rubber. Chicken pakora was the same way over cooked dry and tasteless. Definitely won’t be back!

Awful.. 9 pound for a chicken kebab that doesnt even fill the pitta bread.. terrible value for an average meal.. they don't even accept card.. a joke of a place

After a hard day's graft gutting my garden, my friend and myself decided on a takeaway. We ordered the £18 special Kebab. When they say special, that is an understatement in every way. The Sweet Chilli Chicken, Barbecue Chicken, Peri Peri Chicken, Lamb, Donner was cooked to perfection 👌 The serving was more than enough for four people, the amount of side salad and sauces was perfect 👌 We now have our absolute definite order for whenever we meet up in the future. Thanks Zio G's it was amazing 😋😋😋

Had a special fish supper - but fish done in breadcrumbs - ordered online - so was ready when arrived. Along with mushy peas!!! Fish was delicious, chips were cooked to perfection - can't recommend enough 9.9/10 (No ones perfect 😁)

Had my first fish supper last week at ZioGs It was very nice plenty of chips. I was surprised that they only accept cash unusual at this time.

Just had my favourite meal FISH & CHIPS and once again in my opinion the best that’s going , can only recommend Zio G’s Every time we pre order we are amazed with the service and freshness of the food . My better half had the Calzone and said it was very nice.

Just got to share our experience about this great takeaway. Excellent quality food , cooked to order and never disappointed with your selection. Staff are all friendly and cannot do enough for you. Well worth a visit

Honestly the best chippy in linlithgow, portion sizes are great and everytime I've been in I've always been treated like family. I've yet to find something I don't like about here.

Had to ask girl taking my order to stop repeating my card number out loud, only to be told she always does it ,,food delivered over an hour later, chips were cold and no juice with order, not for me again not impressed

Simple scampi and fish supper. It was ok, but nothing special. The breaded mushrooms where horrible, certainly not fresh. Had better food before as the kebabs always are lovely.

Staff are very rushed and rude. Placed an order and was paying by card and they went “sorry you’ll need to wait as we are busy” and then hung up on me. Not ordering again.

Papalina pasta is amazing truly restraunt quality from a takeaway, the staff are always friendly and the shop is spotless I seen it has won many awards and I can clearly see why! Pizza is amazing and the fish and chips by far is the best! Always freshly cooked do not miss this place

Just enjoyed a freshly cooked veggie pizza with extra toppings, and a portion of fritters on the side. Lovely food, excellent service and the app was flawless. Zio clearly takes satisfaction from a service well given.

Try the chicken kebab...soooo good. It takes a while so order ahead but it is worth the wait. Staff are always friendly and have a laugh...

Been here twice, had a bad experience the first time but gave them the benefit of the doubt, unfortunately this time I found 2 dark hairs in my food. I’m not someone that deliberately looks for flaws in my food and very rarely leave reviews and comments online but this was unacceptable in my opinion

I'm writing this review on behalf of my 8 year old Grandaughter. She always get the mozzarella stick kids meal and loves them but tonight shes so disappointed that she only got 2 mozzarella sticks.. not a happy 8 year old!!

The burgers are really nice as are their kebabs. The chips are also good, but they are 'chip shop chips' (as they also sell fish & chips) but I personally prefer fries with a burger. As mentioned they also sell fish and chips and pizzas which I haven't personally tried but friends have said they are also pretty good.

Pizzas, burgers, wraps, kebabs, chippy all excellent quality and portion sizes are very generous especially considering the low prices. Staff are very friendly, service is excellent and prompt. Finding a good quality takeaway is hard enough, finding one that provides excellent quality and service every time consistantly is almost impossible...but Zio G's manage it time and again. Thoroughly deserve the awards they have achieved.

Shame I could only give 5 stars. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. Food was great. Very tasty. And what can I say about the size of portions, huge! If you are hungry and want some food that you'll not forget, this is the place to get it. Highly recommended

Very nice place - menu has a lot of variety which may leave you waiting a little bit longer but the quality is great and the staff are very pleasant.

First time visit after dropping off some drunken friends, the place seems to attract the local youth as a bit of a hangout but the atmosphere was friendly nonetheless. The cook was very obliging and willing to prepare my order the way I wanted it. The food was well cooked and very tasty, I would have no worries about returning.

Great food at a great price, really like the chicken pakora, it's a meal in itself they are that big!! Kebabs are tasty and so are the burgers that come in brioche buns. Everything is cooked fresh to order and even the packaging looks good!

All the food is good but the pizzas are excellent - an authentic Italian base. Staff are really nice. Best takeaway in Linlithgow by far.

It can be a bit of a wait other than that great.
