Terrible service, staff argue with you when you request something that they usually don't do. Which I requested for a vegetarian option, or even any seaweed but nothing like this even in the chefs cupboards. They proceeded to serve me a full plate of fried onions, this couldn't have been more offensive.. I don't think these people have even been to China before. If you have any kind of standard, don't come here....

This is a hidden Gem in Lincolnshire, very polite and well spoken staff and fantastic food. They always meet the needs of their customers and clearly shows in their team ethos. Would like to see crispy seaweed on the menu, but understand we can’t have everything. Well done Richard and staff, we look forward to our next visit. Keep up the good work Marlon

This place has been steadily going downhill over the last few years. Frankly, the only reason it gets customers, is that it’s the only Chinese eat in establishment in the immediate area. Food is like warm and not topped up often enough, plates are cold. It isn’t value for money anymore. Needs a serious refurb. You take your life in your hands crossing the road and there is no other parking nearby.

Took our scouts and leaders here for a meal after visiting the panto nearby. Called them about 3 days earlier to book. Even though they close at the time we wished to be arriving, they offered to stay open, give us a discount and cook any extra items that we might require. The staff were friendly and courteous and didn’t try to rush us out. The food was excellent and plentiful and some even went back for a second serving and some had dessert too.

We are passionate for good food as we both like cooking and when we have the occasional takeaway, we expect a good establishment to be able to give the great quality food.. we had 3 dishes and all tasted bland and under spiced. There was hardly any meat thrown amongst the tubs of chewy vegetables and the food was lukewarm even though we are 5 minutes drive away. The owners should take a visit to Norfolk and try 2 Chinese takeaways. Yu’s Kitchen in Walton Highway and Pearl River in King’s Lynn.

We have been eating here for a good few years. Lovely family run restaurant. Buffet always has a good amount of choice, not too expensive. Great customer service. The best Chinese in Boston.

Having eaten A LOT of Chinese food over the years, it took us time to discover our firm favourites in our home town. But....now we have moved many miles away and are having to re establish our local likes and dislikes. So we found this treasure on the internet and booked for the Sunday Buffett. A friendly male voice took the call and we couldn't wait to sample the delights we were sure were within. We weren't disappointed, as on arrival, there was a friendly greeting from an all female (on this occasion) team. The buffet is reasonably priced, well cooked, hot, often replenished and tasty. Plenty of choice, something for everyone. The only criticisms are: the decor could do with an upgrade/refresh. Also, although I couldn't manage any, the puds were a little limited with no cream offered. But possibly you could have requested it? This doesn't detract though, from the quality and value offered and choice of savoury dishes. Can't wait to go back!

Late decision to get a takeaway on New Year’s Eve struggled with my regular so chose here. Despite the restaurant being very busy they managed to put my order in for a reasonable time. The 2 girls manning the takeaway counter were working super hard to keep everyone happy. Nice touch to throw a couple of drinks in with the order. Might have to make this my new regular as the food was super tasty too.

Excellent selection, fantastic variety of tastes. Very hygienic and organised. Good drinks on offer, my favourite restaurant in town. I always walk away full and content, and always, thank them for a wonderful meal.

Would never try this place again. Ever.!! Worse we have ever tried. I couldn’t even bite the chicken pieces. Spare ribs tasted like a meat I have never tried before and got spat out. And the raw carrots in the horrible chicken curry were a fantastic touch.!! £9.95 each. We had two. Left the lot. Had a water and a coke and came to £25.50.!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Got together with family to try out this restaurant. Not a particularly welcoming atmosphere, shown to our seats, drinks ordered, then left to the buffet. There was a limited range of dishes, and most of them needed to be refilled. Far too hot and very uncomfortable to eat, no windows open and no air conditioning. The food was quite nice, but all we wanted to do was get out into the air. Reasonably priced, but not wheelchair friendly at all, as steps up to eating area. Whole place could do with being updated. Only in there just an hour. Shame, but that's how we all felt.

we used this takeaway from the day they first opened but stopped when they moved to West Street as it was the wrong side of town for us but we started eating there last month and they are better than ever

Came here with my family and my wife’s grandparents, visited eat as much as you like places before and even though the choices weren’t as much as some big restaurants I’ve been to every dish was great, still lots to choose from vegetarian meat and fish dishes were great, think there was 4 prawn dishes and they were big and cooked perfectly. 1 star off for atmosphere but would visit again

Having booked at another Chinese restaurant that could not accommodate our group despite booking we came here as a second choice .Despite the dated interior we were greeted warmly and offered a table promptly . Drinks orders were taken and menus presented , we all opted for the buffet option.Good selection of starter items such as pancake rolls, prawn toast , duck rolls etc .Main dishes were plentiful and varied and more importantly refreshed and changed regularly , the option to return as many times as you wish gives you the option to try a small number of dishes and then return to try more . Excellent value for money . Not a “night out meal “ but speedy and plentiful

My wife and I decided to stay at a favourite hotel near Boston for our anniversary, and were hoping to dine at our favourite Chinese buffet in the town. We discovered that unfortunately this and a few others locally close on Tuesdays, the day of our visit. After looking online we decided to try this place. If only we had not bothered!

We opted for the buffets which were reasonably priced and quite tasty. They've got a good choice of drinks. Don't expect a chocolate fountain Is a tip for you. Very friendly staff

Fui la última noche para el buffet. En £11. 95, espero tener un saludo amable, un servicio rápido, limpio y placas de un suministro saludable de comida caliente y sabrosa. Ninguna de esas estaban disponibles, me temo que decir. Allí parecía ser el caos entre el personal ya que nadie estaba seguro de lo que estaban haciendo. La señora que nos recibió nos dijo al asiento posterior clientes nosotros mientras fueron vistos en una mesa y pedimos bebidas enseguida. Esperamos más de 1 minutos acerca de bebidas. El buffet no tenía platos y muy poca comida que no se reponía. . Y fue de sólo 7 horas. Era incómoda de frío, así que nos sentamos cerca de una ventana para aprovechar de los radiadores. Es cuando me di cuenta el estado de las persianas y ventanas. Las persianas están cubiertas de suciedad y porquería y las ventanas. . Muy bien. . Son negras con el moho y la suciedad! Fue suficiente para ponerme justo hasta mi marido mencionó que la parte trasera del bar buffet era igual de desagradable, y tenía razón. No puedo ver cómo este lugar recibe cualquier tipo de clasificación claro. Si las zonas de público este aspecto, lo que debe la cocina? Añadir a que la comida que le falta sabor y calidez. . . Y yo nunca volveré.

Hemos ido a este restaurante para varios años. El dueño y todo el personal es muy acogedor y atento (pero no demasiado). La comida es un buffet o usted puede elegir del menú. La calidad de la comida es excepcional y el personal hacen todo lo posible para satisfacer sus necesidades. Las bebidas pueden ser cervezas locales y vinos o chino. Este es un restaurante familiar que también puede organizar fiestas.

I'm a frequent diner at the zhu Ghang and I'm never disappointed. The price is brilliant for all you can eat, there is plenty to choose from on the buffet. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Can't fault the place ! #happycustomer

Went for the buffet on a Wednesday night. Went with children, family and friends and the food was hot, fresh and delicious. Well recommended to all.

This review is based on three separate in restaurant visits and many takeaways.Positives first.The restaurant has a wide selection of delicious food. It is always willing to accommodate any personal food choices and he staff are friendly and attentive.The buffets that run through the week are good quality and they have a wide selection of delicious food. Also good if you want to try something new but dont want to fork out for a full portion in case you dont like it.We have eaten at a few places in town of a similar kind and this is the one we always return too.Negatives.Only two small ones. The first is they dont offer a delivery service I think that this would be a huge plus point to the restaurant/takeaway side of it and would make it more of an option when we are unable to use our own vehicle or we have guests and fancy ordering in. The second is the decor is a little dated and the seats are not particularly comfortable, having said that its always clean and the staff are attentive if you need extra plates or cutlery so it can be over looked.I think this is a hidden gem in Boston and I think its well worth a visit, or two.

My family and I have been going here for 11 years and we will continue visiting until it closes (which we hope is never as no Chinese restaurant stands up to this one) we always have the all you can eat menu, not the buffet the sit down one, and never leave disappointed as the food and service are first class and are always stuffed to burst! The owners are amazing and so friendly, as regulars we know the owners well and they're always happy to see us. We go on birthdays as well as a Saturday nite tea and we hope they never close!!! We are not regular visitors, but sometimes when work finishes late and the restaurant opens early we go, always to the eat all you can buffet which is excellent value for money whatever night you (prices vary depending on night).This used to be the old ‘job centre’ and in some ways it still looks like an old government building. The food however is right up to date with a well laid out as a buffet, clearly labelled and always very good.I can’t think of a better Chinese buffet I have been too in Boston. Worldwide I have been to some fantastic places but they didn’t charge me less than £8 per head to eat all I could.Best value for money restaurant by a mile.

Dont be put off by the decor which is a little tired and dated, the food is good with a good selection and service is friendly. We often visit as part of a very large group and always made to feel welcome. Good value for money, drinks reasonably prices. One of bostons little hiden gems.

We fancied a Chinese buffet and are new to the area. Found this on Google and tried it. just got back. Well, what a nice surprise. Midweek buffet therefore a very acceptable £8.95 per person, a well-cooked, flavoursome and plentiful Chinese buffet with lots of choice. Very helpful and friendly staff who found some ice cream which my husband fancied but wasn't on the dessert table. Washed down with some nice cold Tsing Tao. We will be back!

Comparing to other places nearby, for example even Lincoln, YoYo... This place is awful! Everytime I went there ( I dont know what I was thinking by going there more than once), there is no choice of food, there is a small place, where during the weekend its not even possible to squeeze between people, only few dishes are placed... To be fair, there is nothig to choose from... Also, there is something inside this food, which makes you feel full after one small portion... Where e.g. in other buffets, you can easily eat up to 2-3 plates, with different dishes in every plate, plus dessert....I think most of people also feel annoyed, when owner, comes to your table , while you eating and starts to talk... Ok, one time is ok... Just to ask is everything fine with the food... But I'm sorry, I'm eating here and you staring at me, how much food I took, or is it my second plate... and all this talking is not right, while during one visit, I see how owner comes to same people several times... To 'ask' them about food...

We pre-booked thinking it would be low lights and sweet music !! When we arrived we were shown to our table and a waitress came to take our drink order. We ordered Chardonnay- blank expression- but appeared with a lovely wine. We then realised that the food was self service- oh such a treat !! everything beautifully displayed and a note above each written in English. Lovely desserts to choose from. When my partner went to pay the young man asked if we were pensioners ( so polite !!) and said "half price" That may have been just for Chinese New Year but we shall certainly visit again very soon. A perfect Saturday night out.

My partner and I and 2 of our friends visited this restaurant for the first time. It was also very busy on the night of Friday 27th February. The food was always hot and constantly refilled as it was so busy. We found that the food was delicious contrary to what some over reviewers had said. The restaurant is also very clean and toilets are also hygienic. As you can see, they have a 5 star rating of hygiene from the council. We will certainly be back again & recommend to our friends. We thought it was unfair to the restaurant that the last reviewer, which we were standing behind waiting at counter to pay the bill. we saw that when the waitress gave them the bill, they started to complain about the 'cold' and 'horrible' food and how they were still hungry. They asked for a discount but the manager didn't accept it. Then they said they'd rate them 0 star rating on the Internet.

Thought we would go out for an enjoyable meal, when getting there had a plate of starters which were cold so we complained to waitress to be told she would check temperature of buffet. Our next plates of mains were again at most lukewarm, as I was hungry I did eat it. Normally on an all you can eat I would fill up on 6-7 plates in this case went to get one more plate of different food of which again was luke warm. I decided to leave feeling hungry my partner and me made a complaint at the desk when paying to find customer service is an all time low with what we believe to be the manager being rude and quite insulting. Never again will I eat there.

Zhu Gang offers good value chinese buffet food. There is a good selection of dished that are kept warm and fresh food is brought out regularly. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is by no means the best chinese food I've ever eaten, but for the price I can't complain

If only had visited toilets before eating would have left immediately. If public area can be in such disgraceful state I dread to think what out of site like kitchen & store would be like. Condensation dripping walls over mould covered broken tiles leading down to decaying rotting skirting.Hard to believe such bad conditions on the same street as local council, there EA official needs to visit. Food reflects cheap price poor presented & lacking any quality.Won't be returning.

Went here on a Friday night on 5th December for a work party with a group of 10 people. The atmosphere was great and such a wide variety of food available to choose from at the buffet. This is a great place to go to for a good value meal out. Would definitely come here again with either my friends or family!

I went with my family for a meal out and the staff were very welcoming on our arrival. The buffet had a wide range of choice and it was delicious. My children loved it, and they went up again and again. It was also a great value, and since my children were both under 9, they were half price. The kids look forward to going next time.

Have been here many times plenty of choice in the buffet just make sure you stir before dishing up otherwise could be cold, very reasonable on price at lot cheaper than getting a takeaway or delivery from elsewhere!

We went in for the buffet lunch and vowed it would be our last time. I have enjoyed many buffet lunches in similar restaurants but the food here was the worst in memory. True, it was cheap but still not value for money. The food was not hot and tasted of nothing but the oil it was cooked in. The clientele were not the sort of people with whom I would normally want to share my lunch-time.

Arrived little late to probably get the best from the buffet, as lot what was on offer was very low in stock and never was refilled. Managed to make up enough of a plate to have a filling lunch for the price. Have eaten here before when off main meal menu and waiter served which would suggest is best option for here. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Certainly the better of the two bargain budget end of this type restaurant on West street.

As I sit back home with the consequences of too much MSG tonight I'm not best pleased with the evening I've just spent here. Not off to a great start with a 30 minute wait for our drinks to arrive after the order was taken and then, for ease, we all decided to try out the buffet.We were fairly early, before 8, when we began and there was plenty to choose from for appetisers but by the time the second visit was needed for a main course, the Grand Plan had fallen apart. The place was bursting at the seams with locals looking for a pig-out on the cheap and the food from the kitchens couldn't keep up. Several of us stood around with empty plates hoping the next time the kitchen door opened it would be food for the buffet and not a take-out order. We were disappointed and made do with the few scraps we could muster.Desserts were a joke but I don't know of any Chinese or Cantonese restaurant famous for its dessert menu.By 9.15 the place had become rowdy with the adjacent table full of a party back from some sort of Spanish booze fest intent on making us all know just what it was like. Crown that with a team of staff who appear to all be under 18 and a full quarter hour for the bill to finally arrive and that made up our minds. No thank you. Not coming back here in a hurry.

What can you say about this place? on a budget then try the buffet, loads of dishes to choose from, my kids love it, they help themselves and try different dishes every time they go! food is usually piping hot and a great choice to be had! some nice fruit to choose from too which again my kids eat plenty of. If we go without the kids we always go for the £13.95 eat all you want menu! mixed starters, mussels and our favourite san choi bo!!! try it for yourself you will never go again without ordering it. Again fantastic value for money and you just order what you want (as long as you can eat it all).The staff are really friendly here, they work very long hours and have a great reputation.Its our regular place to eat and have lost count how many times we have been the last few years, that speaks volumes for itself.

We visited this restaurant a couple of weeks ago after it being recommended to us.We have been to several buffet Chinese but mainly in Lincoln. They are getting a little boring now so thought we would give this a go especially as the price is much cheaper than in Lincoln.As I said in the title how can you complain at the price?Most buffet restaurants regardless of the cuisine struggle to offer piping hot food and it is always hit and miss to the foods temperature.On this occasion the temperature was satisfactory and the food very tasty and a good meal had by all. We will definitely be going again!

Went for a meal and stopped here on the off chance on Monday night. Had the Buffet £6.50 a head all you can eat. The food was hot and tasty,matched most Chinese I have eaten in and the value was better than almost another. After the dinner you had a choice of sweets, just as tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will use this restaurant again.

Arrived here on a Saturday night.. Presumably the busyest day of the week, place was bare. As there was 7 off us and everywhere else was booked we decided to eat. After being seated we was directed to the buffet. No warm food in site. Sat and ate my cold food. Decided to go again and this time no plates, had to put my food into a soup bowl. Some food had been replenished but the majority was still old and unappetising.Will not be returning :/

If you like chinese food then this offers value for money. Especially the deals that they have on. I personally do not like eating from the buffet and prefer to order from the menu and take away but the quality is good.
