Ordered food for takeout following the recommendation from my parents. A warning - we ordered chicken tikka masala and chili tikka masala - they were both super sweet, almost like a dessert. The same can be said of the Kormas my parents ordered. I called to ask if this was normal and was told that masala was a sweet dish - although this was the first time I’d experienced it so overpowering that I couldn’t eat it. Restaurant looks nice and staff were very helpful and friendly, although didn’t really acknowledge my complaint.

Just had a simply superb meal at Zayne's tonight. We are visiting the area and have loved this evening. The staff, especially Katie have been so professional and the customer service was second to none. This is a must for everyone to try. Will definitely visit again. Five stars..

Zaynes was one of the best Indian restaurants we’ve visited! The food was freshly cooked to perfection. The meat melted in the mouth and the sauces were superb. All the staff were very kind and our waitress Ellie was incredibly helpful. Everybody needs to go to Zaynes!!

Really enjoyed our experience at Zaynes the food is excellent and the service provides by Kian, Emma and Tia was first class. Kian even went next door and bought a box of after eights to keep us old boys happy 😊👍

We ordered a collection on Saturday night which our friends collected, when they got back we were missing a keema naan and all 4 popadoms. We tried to ring the restaurant 4 times but couldn't get through so lost about £7 and had to go without. Surely orders should be checked before being given out, not just send some of the order. Really disappointed as eating in the restaurant is fine. Lesson learnt but money lost.

I went here Saturday night with my wife. Food was exceptional as always. Very decently priced. Place was absolutely packed though which was very lovely to see in terms of the business doing well, but service was quite slow as a result. Can't knock them too much as many people were to be seen too. Great place overall! Very affordable.

To say that i have had 2 takeaways from here in the last 5 days should tell you that i think the food is great. Last Saturday the restaurant and takeaway was a a bit rammed between 5 and 6 so food took longer to arrive. Few teething problems i think but if the food is good then you can expect this. On both occasions the food was freshly prepared, tasty and enjoyable. I had the prawn karahi (think that's right) and it tastes so good. On my second visit i had the ever populat chicken tikka masala and the addition of the what i assume was coconut milk on top was a wonderful taste. run of the mill dishes are about 9 - 10 GBP. Note they are closed on Tuesday and only take cash (you can get cash from the machine in the coop next door). They are currently only using a cell phone for communication which i noted at busy times was allowed to just ring. I really hope that the food standard stays the same - we all know that success often leads to quality issues. Based on the footfall i saw this is a welcome addition to the local area. Just been here again on 6/4/24 and food quality is consistent

Disappointing takeaway overpriced and portion sizes inadequate. Especially the nan bread which looked more like a pitta bread. If you complain, you're met with hostility. This was our first takeaway and definitely will be our last. Customer care should be paramount and is not a priority at Zaynes.

Absolutely shocking behaviour from the Manageress who has no manners or customer care whatsoever. Just to let everyone know once they have your money your history. Our order was missing 2 starter's and one of the main course had more onions than chicken. The other dishes were swimming around in sauce full of fat. Their nan breads are so small you really need one each on top of the rice. Also no salad to accompany the starter that we did receive. After lodging a complaint we were refused a refund even though they admitted fault. We were were informed they would get the order right next time! I would warn anyone placing an order to use CREDIT CARD. Zaynes is not cheap and then when they fail to deliver what's been ordered they will not give you a refund. My son's work very hard and this was a special treat at over £47.00 and unfortunately Zaynes failed to deliver and apologise. Also No CREDIT from Zaynes is a complete shambles. To put it mildly without swearing. I wouldn't recommend this place after the vial attitude of the so called manageress. No decorum. Also they have been reported to Environmental Health over blockage of their drains. Hopefully the council will investigate this serious matter especially under the Health and Food regulations Act. I just wanted the locals to know if your having a takeaway CHECK BEFORE LEAVING. If its wrong don't leave. Your loss is in their their pocket no matter how small it all adds up. Especially at this moment in time when a takeaway is now a special treat. Don't let Zaynes take advantage of us as locals.

Had a takeaway, prompt delivery, food is amazing, very flavoursome, lots of variety, it was lovely and hot.

First time to this little gem, was a bit concerned as you always are at a first try but can honestly say the food was cracking. We visited on a Tuesday evening and the place was fairly busy. It's not licensed so you have to bring your own booze but if you forget there's a Co-op next door.

Great food and service most helpful look forward to our next visit.

Never will I order from Zaynes Indian again, ordered food at 6.30, called at 7.25 to be told "it's just leaving the restaurant " rang again at 7.50 was told "it's on the way" rang again at 8.05 to be told " I'm sorry I'm going to give you a full refund as we never received your order 😡

First time here and definitely won't be my last. Came with some friends who'd recommended Zaynes after they'd had delivery and didn't disappoint.

First time visit wanted Buttered chicken all I got was a dish of what looked like pureed carrots no cream what so ever with a knob of butter on top.Will not be returning 😞😞

Just visited Zaynes for my birthday. The staff were attentive and food was reasonable. Asked for a mild version of shashlick but still got hot! The bill came and was really expensive with no breakdown of items!! Asked for individual prices to check bill. Poppadums were 3.80 plus a further 2.50 and an additional 50p when we asked for more chutney( the bowls were tiny for 4 poppadums!). Asked for jug water and they brought water bottles and charged another 5 for water! I don’t mind paying a reasonable amount but felt aggrieved when charging extra for small items like water and extra chutney ! Won’t go back when there are numerous Indians restaurant to choose from locally. Such a shame as a local business Let me take up some of my issues raised in the business response. I have never been charged separately for each chutney plus poppadums. And no idea from menu if home made so 1.50 each!! I asked waiter for mild version of shashlick if that couldn’t happen, why wasn’t I told at the point of ordering? I asked for a jug of water ( not bottles?) when they arrived , I assume water was free as no mention that jug wasn’t available for tap water! When the bill arrived, no price for items ordered, just total bill price so couldn’t query at table as it was a young waitress not person who had completed the invoice. I didn’t want to make a fuss as it was a birthday meal but never had a bill with no breakdown of costs??? I took food home as I paid nearly 60 quid for it !! My DIL can eat hot so at least no waste and protects environment. I’m glad we are not your clientele ( very rude)! But as a business, I would see the issues raised ie charging separately for individual chutneys( larger bowls to ensure enuf for 4 poppidums. Then charging again for topping up bowls! ) as a positive way of improving yur service. To be honest, there is a lot of competition locally and a defensive approach is not the best way forward to improve service!!

Food was amazing, first time I’ve been but heard everyone raving about it. We all had different starters, and all were lovely and mains.. even had desert to takeaway The server was a little slow and forgot to ask everyone if they’d like a drink then forgot one drink etc but may be because she was young or new It was very quiet in there I’d definitely go again

The food here is very good. Unfortunately the restaurant is so cold, even whilst wearing a coat we were too cold. The staff who were great provided a small fan heater, which took the edge off a bit. However, we will wait until warmer weather to visit again.

Where do I start..... Poppadoms were soggy binned straight away. My chicken madras was ridiculously hot and I'm one for hot curries but this was like a vindaloo couldn't enjoy it at all. Nan bread was cold, Gf's spicy chicken pakora's cold and had a weird taste. Curried chips were lukewarm and not the best. Waste of £30! both of us were hungry and 90% of it is binned now thanks Zaynes !!

Great choice of dishes and we all really enjoyed our meals! I had the house special curry and it was delicious. They offered it cooked at medium or hot - I opted for medium and it was perfect! Plenty of meat too and all cooked to perfection! Great that you can take your own alcohol and they also freshly make lovely mocktails. Nice and clean and our waiter, Kian was brilliant and took great care of us. Definitely recommend!

Such great food, chicken sagwala was delicious and not shown on menu but were happy to oblige. Had the pleasure of being served by the lovely Kian who was attentive and knowledgeable and super polite. Would definitely come again.

The food is fantastic here i am generally not an indian fan because it is very rich in flavours compared to chinese but this place has some really tasty and moreish food. It's not your spicy nights or meghna its upper class indian food and I will continue to come here for the foreseeable its worth every penny and not your generic BOGOF indian restaurant.

Absolutely shocking never have I been out for a drink and a curry woke up and wanted a curry.... had a mixed grill what was awful madras sauce what was tomato sauce withat a hint of chilli chips were vicious good job I like a omelette...egg fried rice 😄 😄 pull the other one zayne I'd rather go the Griffin and that's microwaved packet garbage you should be ashamed 40 pound for a 'succulent 'piece of chicken and 2 mouthfuls of rice disgusting behaviour I thought Jane's plan was a last resort lucky it was my mums birthday and didn't kick up a fuss everywhere I go I finish my rum I gave it away... AVOIIIDDDDD!! 💥 💥 💥

A fab Indian restaurant with full silver service, immaculately turned out and knowledgeable staff who are also friendly. The food was served fresh and was very tasty. Dropped my atmosphere rating to 4 because I found the background music a bit loud and intrusive.

Very good food indeed. My starter was a trio of samosa with a light & crispy pastry followed by a monkfish bhuna.Wife also commented on the freshness of the food throughout. Nice to see attention to the detail of cooking & presentation.

I've been to zaynes multiple times and I honestly can't fault the place, the staff are always friendly and i love having a laugh with them. Mij is always so helpful with a cheerful smile. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff kept us laughing all night. Thank you so much guys for this lovely evening and we will definitely return with new faces. Keep up the excellent work so glad to have zaynes so local in the area. You have my support and best wishes.

Food was tasty although very bright artificial colour. However customer service, awful!!! Have never experienced anything like it. Very rude and couldn't care less attitude when food took 1 1/2 hrs to arrive. Take away took priority. Also decor half painted in areas. Poor attention to detail. Toilets blocked and cold. Wouldn't recommend.

Went as a group of 7 friends. Everyone was very pleased with their food. Mine was delicious. The service was great, we were chatting and drinking after the meal, but they did not hurry us to leave. Being able to take your own alcohol makes it reasonably priced. I will definitely visit again and would recommend it.

As per usual, great food, quick service, fantastic price. Mij was fantastic in being a friendly waiter and making sure we had whatever we needed quickly, all with a big smile. Will definitely be returning. Quickly becoming a firm favourite Indian.

Had takeaways and they have always been excellent so thought would try dine in. Unfortunately My lamb dish was very chewey otherwise would have been 5 stars all round!

This rare gem in Bulkington, Coventry of all places is amazing. The food is so good and beats all the curry places we've been in London by a mile. The menu is an updated version of the traditional curry house with a few fusion specials like the Indian Shepherds pie which was amazing. The traditional dishes were just as good if not better. If you're even remotely close to Bulkington make a stop. The staff was amazing and attentive. The restaurant is modern and pristine... don't take my word for it just go. Side note: they currently don't have a liquor license but you can bring in a bottle of wine or enjoy some of their delicious mocktails

Avoid. Server was rude and dismissive. He stared at me across the restaurant every time i looked up at all making it extremely uncomfortable to look anywhere but my plate except for anytime Iactually needed to call him over then he was too busy flirting with the front of house woman. Took over 20 minutes to get food. Didn't get ordered drink at all and had to remind them to get it. Ordered a side dish, they brought it out as a main, I tried to complain as I didn't want that much and they asked if there was anything wrong with the actual food and then refused to exchange it so I got charged for a main I didn't order. On top of that the music is Bluetooth which ordinarily wouldn't be an issue but whoever was connected had their ring doorbell go off about every 10 minutes extremely loud. Took my mum here for mothers day and just extremely disappointed as she was very excited to try it just to end up utterly disappointed 😞

We met friends here last night who had been before. What a little gem of a restaurant. I love my curries and like to try different styles. I was not disappointed with the range on the menu and our meals - all different and were excellent. I can see this becoming a regular for us. Bring your own alcohol (which I prefer given the exorbitant prices some restaurants charge) Enjoy!

Food was lovely but I’ve-always noticed how unfriendly some of the staff are ! For a village location surely it pays to be welcoming? The restaurant was empty. I’ve been about 3 times and last night was sadly my last time going as they are not very welcoming apart from the chef who waved us bye from the kitchen ! Such a shame as it’s within walking distance 😢 I find your reply absolutely disgusting and wrong. If the staff don’t want to take out pictures they can refuse but the upping lad was happy to. I am not boisterous and after speaking with several people they have all agreed some off the staff can be more welcoming and friendlier and it had nothing to do with the delivery request which I understood and had a takeout for my family instead. Also instead of offering a kinder response you have shown your true colours and this reflects on my comment of you being friendlier and more welcoming. O find your response absolutely disgusting Thank you for your time Thankyou

I had salmon tikka starter & hubby had potato dumpling & garlic mushrooms both were ok not spicy . Mains were chicken tikka bhuna with garlic & lamb balti both were fabulous very tasty & lamb was very tender . Need to book on Saturday as was very busy which is good to see. Staff were great will definitely go back

Tables are so clean, staff friendly and efficient and the food was amazing. Such good value for the quality of the food and flavours. Way better than the usual Coventry-based curry restaurants. Do yourself a favour, and pop out of town for a great curry experience.

BYOB place with no corkage which I love, always helps to keep costs down and the food was incredible! Will definitely be back!

Place has just opened in Bulkington, had a fantastic take away meal from these guys. Food was freshly prepared and cooked . Absolutely delicious. Will definitely be eating here again , next time we’ll eat inside. Deffo recommend 👍
