Best restaurant in the area, been looking everywhere then finally found this! Staffs were amazing, friendly and so welcoming. Absolutely loved it.

Come here quite regular, the food and service never fails always made to feel welcome 100% recommend

First time takeaway last night a jalfrezi won't bother again the sauce was like coloured water with a few onions and peppers in it only 6 small pieces of chicken in it that was £1.53 each piece had mushroom rice which was quite tasty but everything was running in grease at a cost of nearly £40 for the complete order I've had far better in the past

First time ordering tonight, delivery was quick and food still hot. The food was full of flavour and the meat really tender and cooked to perfection. Only complaint is the curries were runny, but that didn't take away from the taste we still enjoyed it and will be back to try different things on the menu 😊

Excellent food well presented. Good friendly staff enjoyed it . Able to cater for 12 no problem. Very reasonably priced. Still maintains quality.

Just ordered the most beautiful take away. Honestly the guy on the phone was so polite and funny too :) I didn’t know what I wanted tbh but he helped me lol. And the food is lovely! Not like the watered down flavourless curry’s I’ve had from many take aways. Full of flavour at Zara’s! Thanks guys I will be ordering again xxx

An authentic Indian restaurant with Indian staff and Indian cooks, and Indian music.

We had a lovely relaxed meal for my sisters birthday, the food was excellent, and the service was great and attentive, the pace of the food coming out might be a bit slow for some people or occasions, but it was perfect for us tonight.

Ordered delivery, cost over £45 onion bhajis were cold and looked raw inside, chicken tikka was very runny and only had 7 small bits of chicken in it, fries were over cooked and just warm enough once tipped sauce over them. Nann bread was ok for one person not big enough to share! The mushroom rice and Poppadoms with pickle tray was probably the best part of the meal! Unfortunately wouldn't recommend.

Our regular and favourite local Indian restaurant. We've visited many times and sampled many of the dishes and have never left feeling disappointed. I prefer the spicier dishes, and have just enjoyed the Mr Naga - a fiery dish which satifies the need for heat, but not too overpowering that it takes away the flavour of the other ingredients and spices. Always a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Great for couples, families and larger groups. Very reasonable prices as well. This evening myself and my partner effectively had a 4 course meal plus a drink and a side salad for under £30 each. Highly recommended 👌

Been to this restaurant numerous times and always been made to feel very welcome. Staff are brilliant, very attentive and friendly. Plenty of choice on the main menu and desert menu. The restaurant is very clean and welcoming. Lovely dining out experience 👌

Attended Zara’s 03/04/2024 for a surprise birthday party. Food was amazing. Mill the host was fabulous, went above and beyond for us. Would 100% recommend and will certainly return.

Large family gathering of 23 people , service impeccable everyone was promptly served starters mains and desserts all came out timely and tasted excellent no complaints from anyone . All family left very happy and full delicious would greatly recommend this restaurant, thank you to all the team for a great evening.

Miss Chloe and the family came here, nice restaurant with lots of exciting things on the menu we hadn't seen before. The meat was really tender and all the food was great, with some impressive versions of the classics that really excelled. Reasonably priced with fantastic service

The food is so so good and a really good price.

Starters curry and desert were all great, fresh herbs used, strong flavours and good quality meat. Friendly staff who are attentive and make conversation...even giving hugs to some returning guests, nice place! It's an average size venue, clean, well presented and cozy so I'd imagine when it's busy you'll not find a quiet corner but don't be put off by that. Well worth a try, I'll definitely be returning 👍

Hi I’ve ordered today for the family at £40. We ordered chicken tikka masala and chicken tikka buna… this is the worst curry I’ve ever had.. it’s like having a flavourless soup out of a tin.. the salad came wrapped in a bag and just to top it off I had to walk outside for 10 mins because the driver couldn’t find our address. The lot went in bin and won’t be ordering from them again. Hope you have a better experience. Good luck

Was the worse curry i ever had salad in a sandwich bag chapati in a plastic tub the curry was like tomoto ketchup said it was gonna be a hour but was 2 absolutely terrible 😑

Ordered delivery for a set time and arrived 30 mins late but the Currys were very bland. The chicken was fine but no taste in Rogan josh or the korma. Have ordered few times before and ok but this expierece has put me off ordering again.

(takeaway delivery). I had, Garlic Mushroom Puree starter and Chicken Biriyani for main. both were lovely.. The sauce for the biriyani was full of flavour and the right amount of different types of vegetables. Unfortunately I cant rate atmosphere because I have never visited for dine in yet..

Me and missus ate there last night. Service and food was bang on , staff friendly and prompt , starters main meal and a couple of drinks each and I was pleasantly surprised with the bill . First time been there but will definitely be going back. Thank you zaras

Lovely Indian just away from Park gate service on the night was a little slow but they were busy on the night and very apologetic but I didn't mind as we had time to chat and enjoy the night rather than being rushed and shovelling food down will definitely return as the food was spot on.

Zaras is a lovely cosy place. It is well laid out , and clean. A good calm atmosphere. Staff where lovely. The food was just the right portion size. I ate all mine which is rare as I notably leave some, but yet I was still full. Their bahjis are lovely and quite big. I will definitely be going back .

Been here a few times in for a few sit down meals birthday party, had a poor meal today 2 and1/2 later still chases it up to find it’s cold full of water after nanna bread not seen oven not happy with out put from Zara’s

First time visiting Zara's after a friends recommendation, on first impressions the atmosphere inside the place is nice and the staff very pleasant. Unfortunately the food lets it down, I ordered a Bhuna and the sauce was very watery and lacking flavour, not at all what a traditional Bhuna should be like. Other meals that our group ordered weren't too bad but all lacking in the flavours you'd come to expect from a proper curry. Sundries were all nice, good thick naan bread and decent rice. May try again to see if this was a one off bad experience.

We (Trent Law Solicitors) went to Zara's last week after our quarterly work meeting along with our Nottingham team. It was a first time experience for us all. A nice location, great welcome and a lovely service throughout. The food was delicious, cooked in accordance to each requirement and we were given complimentary dishes and desserts! Thank you Shahbaz & Milad for going out of your way on a Friday night. We will be back soon!

Went for a family meal for my 60th birthday. First time been here what a fab place this is food was lovely and the staff are very friendly this is now my new place to go for an indian will also use it for a takeaway meal too

Starter mixed kebab lovely curry was a disappointment lamb balti I have had loads my favourite but this was just oil absolutely shocking , Shame as rest lovely

Ordered a chicken balti . Omg . It was virtually all raw onions no sauce and not very hot . Had raw spring onions on top sliced ??? I’ve been eating Indian food for 30 years and was totally shocked . Told the waiter and I hadn’t eaten it just a bit of chicken and just ignored me and brought me the bill … not impressed at all

Our first visit to Zara’s at Parkgate after going to Zara’s at Tickhill for many years. We weren’t disappointed. Extremely welcoming atmosphere. Tables well spaced out & neatly set. Amazingly good food & attentive staff. Would highly recommend & definitely return. A very big thank you.

Took almost 2 hours to come, then when it finally arrived it was freezing cold and they had forgotten the starters. Both curries were both bang average flavour wise.

Booked a table of 6 for my 22nd birthday meal tonight, first time having Zara's and was not disappointed! Waiter was lovely and chatty and made us all laugh and the food was delicious. Not impressed at all. Food arrived virtually cold. Not much flavour, and our starter was missing ! Rang up and all that was said is to tell them next we order and we'll get a free one.....But who wants to order a second time from a place that didn't give good service the first time !

15 of us went to this fab restaurant yesterday (New Year's Eve) for my birthday. The staff were excellent from my 1st booking enquiry a couple of weeks ago to us leaving the restaurant last night. The restaurant is very clean and well presented and it had a lovely warm and friendly feel to it. Our table was ready for us on arrival and it was set immaculately. As we were a very large party it took a while for our orders to be taken and then quite a while for the food to arrive but it once it was brought out it was served quickly and it was all nice and hot and we appreciated that everything was brought out together. A lot of our group thought the curries weren't very spicy but understand that a lot of dishes can vary from restaurant to restaurant and when we go again we'll know to order something from the next spice level up. We all came away very happy with our experience and we were even given a bottle of champagne forbthe New Year which was a fab gesture. We will not hesitate to return again. Thanks Zara's, see you all soon!
