Zara Restaurant in Harrow

I recently ordered a takeaway from Zara Restaurant, and it was fantastic! The chips were fried to perfection - crispy on the outside and soft inside. The pitta with cheese and fresh salad was delicious, and the chilli sauce was the real star, adding an amazing burst of flavour to every bite. Highly recommend Zara Restaurant for anyone craving a flavorful, well-prepared meal!

Nice food, friendly staff at Zara! This place has a friendly, almost like a family vibe to it. The food is cooked in a timely manner as it is a small restaurant and they also prepare takeaway, but while you wait for it, you can either talk to the very friendly staff if they are not too busy or look at the massive poster on the wall, of a famous bridge in Istanbul, that links the two continents: Europe and Asia... The food is quite decent, and so are the prices; actually, they are more reasonable than other restaurants in the same area of Harrow Wealdstone, with the same Turkish specific, and since everyone can feel their pockets lighter lately, I highly recommend this place as an option on a quiet evening during the week, maybe with one or two friends at most, or with the kids if they crave for some kebab meat or delicious cooked over charcoal, lamb chops or ribs. If you just want to enjoy your food without being assaulted by loud music or too much noise and commotion around you, then this place might suit you! Their best dishes, in my opinion, after dining there a few times and observing the same consistency, are the mixed donner with salad and the lamb chops done over the charcoal grill, which taste heavenly! They also have fish, which can be a great option sometimes instead of a bit heavier items from their menu, although I find anatolian cousine quite balanced in terms of how much food you can ingest and not feel sick after... At Zara, they also serve some vegetarian food and some nice sweets. Overall, try this restaurant for yourself!

I asked for a large lamb Kebab today and got a soggy salad instead. full of red cabbage, 3 chillies and tonne of lettuce. spent £10. These people do not know the taste of kebab. I had to eat a little from it because I was hungry. Rest in the bin. Learn to make kebab before you sell it. I have a photo of the kebab I got from them and I wish I could share it with you. 08/10/2024 - Second visit I’d like to withdraw my review I placed earlier this year and place a good review instead. I visited the same place again recently, and to my surprise, the service was great. ordered a kebab roll, and it was delicious. Nicely packed and evenly served. I’d like to give this restaurant 5 stars for thier improvement in standards as it looks like they have worked hard to improve their services. It’s more about Adapting on the feedback received, so I can confidently say this restaurant has adapted and improved greatly and the customer service has also improved to kind and inviting. I will remove the top part of this review in good time. You can visit this restaurant confidently!

We have eat few time here, take away ( for park picnics) and dine in. Every single time the food was fresh and tasty, with so many options. Staff members were friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. We highly recommend!

It definitely wasn't service with a smile when I went in here. The person serving me was so miserable, she could barely open her mouth to ask me what I wanted. As for the food, the lamb doner kebab meat wasn't cooked long enough for me, it was a bit anaemic. I can't say that I would come back to this place in future.

I ordered a kebab, started waiting for it and watching the process of its preparation. Afterwards I was shocked when they started making the kebab with bare hands without gloves. I asked for my money back and left.

Their food was always tasty and the salad was very fresh , we spent around £45, together with the drinks

Thought I'd give it a try and it has been my biggest regret.The food was absolutely appalling especially for the price I paid. Went to the toilet and seen 2 rats running around when I asked the worker for a refund I was simply told the food is on the grill and a refund couldn't be processed

Worst experience ever. Ordered a chicken sish and rice. Not to busy but still waiting at least 20 minutes for the food, I understand the chicken takes time to cook but the grill was free. After the chicken was cooked I was handed only that. When I get home, no rice, luckly I live 5 minutes away. The guy on the till was confused, was like he did not belong there.Another old fella trying to find lame excuses, no apologies, no nothing... never coming back.

Some of the best kebab you’ll find in north west London. Homemade garlic sauce and chilli sauce. Good variety available with chicken and lamb.

Amazing chicken donner, lamb donner, chips, salad and sauces. If you’re craving a kebab this is the place to go. Even late at night open till 2am so was perfect for my midnight kebab craving.

Food was cold when it arrived and we have to warm it up on microwave

The best doner kebab in a 15 mile radius, and I've tried them all. 10/10 portion size 10/10 staff, 10/10 taste and freshness. I regularly go here and also order from here. It's way better to dine in, super friendly staff and the Turkish bread is to die for.

I have been buying my favourite chicken and lamb kebabs from Zara kebabs shop for many years , they certainly provide a nice welcome for customers and provide a very good service with a good selection of salads with their kebabs , and their prices are reasonable I would recommend this shop to all .

Never pay Falafel from Zara restaurant its poor & service is poor

Good quality is relatively poor. I ordered a chicken wrap and had half an intact cucumber within the middle and very little meat. Their sides are also a joke - 3 slices of dodgy meat for their “authentic” sausage. A restaurant trying to line their pockets rather than make good quality food. Pity that JustEat also allows this while on other apps they wouldn’t get away with it.

One of the waiters with a very red hair was very rude she didn't know to explain her self she was raising the voice no experience at all to deal with customers not good service but the other waiters original from Spain verry nice kind and a good customer service she was exceptionally . Amaazing food! The whole experience from start to finish is great staff from kitchen is always so friendly welcoming you with a smile on their face and kind. The food always amazing prices are fair for the portion size. Always a great spot to get great food.

A hidden gem, from the outside it looks like a kebab shop, once inside the food is amazing and staff are friendly. The lights are amazing takes me back to the middle east or Turkey in this case. The tea was also spot on, really refreshing. Kids loved it as well. 2 under 10's and 3 adults, one platter zara special, one yoghurt adnana, humus, bread, chips with cheese, drinks and tea £67. We will be back.

Restaurant did not follow my notes..instead slammed everything in one box and it arrived cold and squished! They are stingy with the meat! Meat is beyond average also ! This is my first time writing a review on just eat since ordering from 2016

Food felt like cardboard. The man was cutting fresh doner but served us old stale doner that had already been sitting inside the pot. Food was not good at all. Stick to Sam's down the road

The place is easy to find. It's clean the staff are nice. Payments can be done either with card or cash. Nice little place to eat with friends or family or just get a quick takeaway.

Food quality is good but the portions are small and very expensive than 6 minths ago.. their medium shish kebab is very small (pitta the size of my palm and only 3-4 chunks of meat that that my 10 year old was still hungry..and that was £8. Its not worth the money anymore...what a shame as the food is good overall.

Ordered before and was ok. Not sure what happened today but either the delivery driver walked to my house or the restaurant sent me cold food deliberatelynot even luke warm but freezing! the bread & meat is the same temperature as the salad when usually you get a warm salad.

Sadly the restaurant got my order wrong and when I called them to notify them immediately, they apologised for their mistake. I asked if I could have the correct order but because it was a Friday night, Ali said it would take a very long time to get an available driver. He promised to take care of us next time we order. Not quite sure what that meant but I accepted the wrong order anyway. It was absolutely delicious but I just couldn't finish it as there was too much red meat. Giving them 5 stars because food tasted delicious and they were very apologetic for an honest mistake, offering to rectify it at our next order.

Good food but very overpriced, you can only choose to have a large meal lol which is where they get you. I mean a chicken shish is £14 now before you could choose medium or large they have taken that choice away. Chips not so good can’t eat em the next day after they charge £2.20 for em. Overall nice food but way to expensive now. Same food other places on JE much much cheaper

The chips were uncooked- this is the third time the chips have been uncooked- not sure why they don't leave cooking for longer. Zara chips used to be very good and now it's not worth the money paid as chips are uncooked and hard. Will not be returning again

The Patlican Salata portion was small for £10.50. The doner roll was a lot of wrap and salad and. Or much meat for £9.50. The chip portion was definitely not what I would consider a large. Sadly I won’t order again

It was okay, bit stingy with the portion the pitta bread was bit burnt especially the red cabbage was leaking everywhere in the bag but apart from this, this place is normally good!!

Chicken shish tasty as was both doner meats however lamb very bad. Tasted funny. Lamb shish tasted more like mutton than lamb and wasn't nice. Adana kebab tasted as if the meat had started to spoil. Very mixed experience

Always lying to your face I ordered large fries with chicken donner for pickup but they are bloody liars this happenf before but I didn’t wanna leave review but they done it again, they gave me medium donner with no fries and instead a bunch of salad even tough I ordered large fries with donner never order again from This place!!!!!!

Went here tonight with my husband for Turkish tea, they had told us they will make it and we've been waiting for 40mins and got nothing, run out of time and gone without. Disappointing. We will never come back again.

Sadly, crazy price increase means low score . Same order last week was £28. Todays order was £36. Great food and fast delivery but will have to look at alternatives because of this price increase.

Very welcoming. Most lunchtime demand seems to be for done or chips, but I asked for a Haloumi salad- it was freshly made and delicious. Spacious cafe/restaurant. I ate in. Proprietor deserves to do well.

Honestly, the service was shocking. The older manager/ owner was extremely rude, aggressive and abusive on the phone when I called to give specifics on my order. I’ve been going into restaurant for many years and will no longer be doing so. I’ve never received anything but good service from the young man on the weekends.
