Zam Zam Spice in Hyndburn

Way too runny/oily and didn’t taste great

Lamb madras and chapati perfect couldn't fault. However the deep fried bits cauliflower pakoras and the chips arrived soggy and cold didn't enjoy at all. The onion chutney didn't taste of anything.

Would certainly recommend as a takeaway; staff are very polite and nothing is too much trouble, I like how you can see the chefs cooking and everything is spotless. My dad says it’s the best fish curry he has ever tasted. When you ask for it to be ready at a certain time you can guarantee it’s ready. You won’t be disappointed if you order from ZamZam.

Zam zam is one of the best takeaways we’ve had. Staff are always friendly polite and accommodating, food delicious, great portion sizes and loaded with the most tender meat and vegetables. Just a pity they are not on our doorstep any longer as a restaurant as we loved sitting in for dinner. They deliver too which is a bonus. Cannot recommend enough!! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

So disappointed with this take away. Normally excellent. Definitely not a madras. All the food was cold on delivery. Very disappointed won't be ordering again. Have spent lots of money with Zam Zam. Update: the owner called me and apologised for the mix up and admitted that the wrong curry had been sent out. Updated star rating. We've ordered curries frequently from you guys. My husband ordered the Harimirch Chicken and was sent the Himalayan Chicken instead. When I contacted the restaurant about it I was told that the curry was correct even though it was the mildest curry. It was mint and coconut, there wasn't any chilli in it! Waste of money and will not be ordering again. I'd have considered ordering again if they'd owned up to getting the curry wrong, however with the attitude I received from them they've lost a loyal customer.

Fabulous food and quick delivery. The sea bass starter was delicious and a good portion of fish. Everyone enjoyed their food. We're just visiting the area, but if I was local this would definitely be my take away of choice.

always go to Zam zam when fancying an Indian, I get chicken tikka biryani and my partner has chicken tikka bhuna, pretty much all the time we order, always very tasty, chicken is tender and flavourful. both dishes are very yummy. delivery always earlier than time provided too, not one complaint. definitely recommend.

Don’t usually post reviews, just eat whatever i get delivered. But this place is spot on. Meats are always succulent & juicy, never dry. Curries are spot on. Ordered a few times now & will continue to do so. 5* Takeaway

Lovely delivery driver !!! Excellent food

We regularly use Zam Zam and find the quality and service is always excellent. Used them when my sister visited for weekend and she (and her curry loving husband) said it was the best Indian takeaway they had had. Great food and good value.

We’ve tried so many different Indian takeaways but always disappointed. Zam Zam Spice however has delivered time and time again with high quality food. I’d go as far to say better than quite a few eat in establishments. A little bit more price wise but worth every penny. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you.

We order from zam zam all the time because it’s our fave however this time round our poppadoms were cold and soggy :( it won’t stop us from ordering again but we were a bit gutted. Curries were delicious as usual

We have ordered from here many many times but not for awhile. its always been good, but tonight was not great! the chicken was overcoooked so tough! it arrived with half the curry in the bag.

This takeaway is absolutely top notch food is exellent always hot & fresh deliveries are always before said time. The staff are so pleasant & friendly. If i want a indian, i will always go to this takeaway.. There is not 1 to beat zam zam

Absolutely one of the best places to get curry from. Can’t beat the flavours or the price. Generous with the meat and portion sizes. Biriyani is perfect.

This is a fantastic establishment. The curries are absolutely fantastic and the staff are very courteous and friendly. We have used many curry houses around the area but this is the best we have found by far. Highly recommended.

Food was very tasty but delivered so late that it wasn't hot anymore. Driver also struggled to call for details on how to find us, despite instructions. if the food had been on time and hence hot, I would have rated this restaurant much higher.

the lamb bhuna has been quite salty the last 2 times of ordering which is slightly disappointing as I love the curries from here as I am a very regular customer also the mango chutney taste on the stronger side. Apart from the saltiness of the bhuna the rest of the food was lovely thank you.

Absolutely sensational. The staff and drivers are super lovely and so polite. The chef tickles my tastebuds everytime, he knows what I like. I just call up for my chicken special and it is just the most tasty, spicy, thick, full of chicken curry you could ask for, they are so accommodating, I love a sheek kebab with chillies inside and fresh chillies inside my garlic naan. Also, thanks chef for the extra treats, too. The tikka stir fry tonight was amazing. Your the best xxx

Yet another sensational curry, I just ring up and say, 'ask chef to make me something special in chicken' 😃 and he hits the mark every time. Plenty of chicken, a nice thick tasty sauce, with a chilli & garlic naan to dip in it. Seriously, if you want something different, the chef will try to accommodate you, let him tickle your tastebuds. The staff and drivers are so lovely to interact with. An all round 5*+ from me. Thanks guys xx

Food lost some heat but so tasty and fresh, lamb just so succulent and tender. Vastly improved from last time we ordered hence a couple of years since we went here. Really enjoyed the meal nothing at all to complain about. 5 🌟

Disappointing first order. Really stale poppadoms to start, felt like they’d been made a week ago. Masala curry had no flavour just spice. Mumbai mechanic had flavour but again, too spicy which spoilt the flavour. Naan bread soggy and cold. Rice - fine!

The worst take away ever, food was bland, my wife ordered king prawn puri there was 2 prawns in it, my mixed kebab was tasteless, never ordering from here again 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Hubby and I (Julie) had another absolutely phenomenal takeaway tonight. Seabass cooked perfectly with just a hint a spice, I had Garlic Chilli Chicken, lots of green chillies and garlic (same as Friday :)) with a chilli and garlic naan dipped in. Everything was scrumptious and mouthwatering. Oh my goodness it makes me drool, thinking about it. Super quick delivery too. 5*+. Thanks guys for giving me my chilli fix. 😁. Xx

I have just had a mix grill with kohri sauce & it was delicious couldn't fault it at all i would highly recommend zam zam spice as your go to takeaway for resturant quality food with great delivery service. Nice friendly driver too. 5 *****s for me..

Lamb madras was top drawer spicy tasty with chips, chapatis were nice. Only got 4 lamb chops in lamb chop main disappointing really expected a little more for £8.95 no mint sauce sent salad and curry sauce which i didnt want. Overall the meal was ok but the delivery that is something else very fast delivery and food arrived hot.

I ordered 2 curries one was perfect but the other was really really salty to the point I couldn't finish it (left over half). Unusual for zam zam as they usually do a perfect curry
