Authentic,delicious ,made with care … I could go on for quite a while… best food outside Istanbul .. please visit .. staff are friendly and the restaurant itself is set in the quiet corner of carnaby street .. outside covers is probably about 40 .. the restaurant is on a corner so it has two sides to sit outside

Londra ya gittiğimizde türk yemekleri olan bir lokanta ya rezervasyon yaptırdık. Akşam lokantaya geldiğimizde hiç iyi karsilanmadik. Yemekler fena deildi. Porsiyonlar çok küçüktü. Aç kalktık. Bu yemeklere bu fiyat. Gereksiz pahalıydı. Yemeğin sonunda içtiğimiz haşlama çaydan bile para aldılar. Bir daha yolum o tarafa düşse asla gitmem. Türk kazığı yedik

Terrible service from Gulcan, she only looked and spoke to one of the parties as if the other was invisible I came here last year and prices have gone up over 20% and charcoal grill dishes like chicken tavuk and lamb lofte now don’t include bread! Last year chicken tavuk was £17.59 now £20.50. Bread turns this tavuk into a substantial meal, to order bread or potatoes will turn your meal into £30 and there are many better options in the city for £30 a main. £20.50 for a relatively small portion chicken salad and a spring onion is extortionate. Last year 5/5 this year 1/5. Unfortunately the restaurants got greedy and service has gone down hill

Over-priced. It's a nice spot for a casual weekday bite to eat but the level of service and care taken is not in line with the price point.

Lovely place just off carnaby street. The food is excellent, nice selection but not too much. Loved having lots of different smaller dishes - Beetroot, Seabass and stuffed Aubergine, all amazing. Staff were really nice and friendly, went at a quiet time (pre 6pm) and plenty of space. Will definitely go back again. Could have stayed and eaten another 3-4 dishes. Imad’s Syrian kitchen a bit further down carnaby street is also a great option.

What a lovely find, my husband and I was passing by and called in for coffee and cake. Great service, staff were very friendly, sat outside with a cappuccino and cake, which was delicious! Next time I’m back in London I will go for lunch as I saw some wonderful dishes coming out.

Four of us had a lovely birthday lunch on a Saturday. Excellent food and efficient, friendly service. When we asked how spicy the roasted red pepper dish was we were given some to try ahead of ordering. For dessert we shared two baklava and a rice pudding which was plenty. Very delicious!

Though the food is excellent--their fresh pita is marvelous--it is extremely poor value for money. A bottle of tap water is over 4 pounds! We asked for some honey for our mint tea (asked three times, actually, as the service is awful) and discovered later that we'd been charged 3 pounds 90 for a "special order"--for less than one tablespoon of honey! Highway robbery. At the very least we should have been informed that there would be an additional charge. Do not recommend Zahter unless you like to burn cash.

Quality produce in this trendy and buzzing Soho restaurant, both vegetables and meats. The cuisine is kind of “metropolitan Turkish” and is very professional. Service was polite and cheerful, prices are perhaps a bit high, but quality costs ever more and this is Soho after all. Definitely above average.

Absolutely loved it here. The food was different and was so very good! The staff were friendly and really helpful too! Definitely will be back on our next visit to London. Highly recommend.

We went for a birthday meal with friends. In general we were disappointed because i had booked the place with high expectations. The mezzes/starters were tasty, we enjoyed most. The drinks were also nice however the mains were a shock! Firstly they were NOT brought as were advertised on their website or on the reviews e.g the Kofte piyaz came wothout the layered bread but just the meat and beans. Rather than a main meal they looked like a larger portion of warm mezzes and the taste didnt make up for it either! When i asked if the main was missing anything the waiter said oh it use to have the bread but now it doesnt!! Why?! Very average plain. Very disappointing. Also our mains didnt arrive together. So while some were eating, the others were waiting to eat for at least 10 minutes. When we made a point of it. The waiter just said ‘oh yh i know but dont know what happened’. After all this they still had the face to charge a heavy service charge. Ridiculous. Too expensive for what it’s offering. The coctails were nice

My recent visit to Zahert with work colleagues left much to be desired. From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming, primarily due to the grumpy and unfriendly demeanor of the staff. What struck me most was the exorbitant £5 charge for a small piece of bread, a service that comes complimentary in many other dining establishments. Additionally, the insistence on paying a service charge, which felt obligatory, further soured the experience. While Zahedt ours its food as wannabe gourmet, the reality fell short of expectations. The dishes, far from being delicious, lacked the quality one would anticipate at such a price point. Regrettably, this visit has left us with no desire to return. I hope that Zahert considers improving both its service attitude and culinary offerings to provide a more enjoyable dining experience in the future.

We had an excellent dinner in Zahter. We ordered almost everything to try. Every dish was delicious and always want to come back. Especially try kofte and artichocke. And the stuff was so friendly and helpful. Even I ate till ı drop When I tasted the sütlaç (rice puding) it was extremely breathtaking. Advise to everyone.

A lovely Istanbulite restaurant with delicious food,super nice staff, and a cosy bar. I had a whole artichoke with spice rise, almond and pomegranade, very tasty blend of mediterranean and Istanbul culinary and fun to eat.

One of the best Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine in London! We made the reservation with a great longing for Turkish food and rakı. This place gave us all we need. Skewers ,chicken, rocket salad, kofta, muhammara and humus were great and baklava was beyond perfect, it was the best I've had in London. Beautiful and friendly environment to meet friends. Also it can be a choice for a date, bar seatings could be nice.Personally I love this area of Soho. It's the coziest also far away from the busy streets. Thank you for your hospitality and delicious food. We will definitely come back!

Great food! Highly recommended, an amazing experience super tasty food full of flavours and very kind staff

We visited here earlier this week as a couple. The staff were friendly and generally attentive. The food itself was good, however the portions are small and the cost attached to each dish does not reflect the taste or value. For example, a lot of the cold mezze are dips, which need bread to eat them, you have to order the bread separately which costs £3.90 per person for a small round pide. While it was all nice, none of the food blew us away and like I said it was incredibly expensive for what you got. On top of this they charge 12.5% service charge which I do not feel we received. While the service was generally ok, our water was only given once and then never again, that is not 12.5% service in my opinion. Overall it was nice but I don't think I'd rush back as I have been to other Turkish restaurants who are charging a whole lot less for a lot more in quantity and flavour.

Kazıklanmak ve aç kalkmak istiyorsanız tam yeri. Bir daha asla gelmem. Tabaklar çocuk porsiyonu gibi, ekmek bile ayrı fiyatlandırılmış. 9 tavuk şiş 9 lokmada bitti küçük köpeğe konulan tabak gibi, yanında hiçbir garnitür yok. Haringey gidin de Türk lokantası görün, burası yanından bile geçmez.

I cant understand why I was able to book a table at very short notice on a Saturday evening in November. It is so good. Turkish hospitality and slightly updated classic Turkish dishes served in a welcoming manner; tables or counter service. Big or small dishes, each delightfully served, generous flavours and good quality ingredients. Great staff. A bit noisy for me, but where isn't in Soho? I'm going again.

What amazing beautiful hidden gem in Carnaby, I would recommend to anyone. Affordable and the food is so tasty and well seasoned.

We were at Zahter for dinner. The waiters were very nice and helped us with ordinations, suggesting appropriate courses. We had a good meal and appreciated both the starters and the main plates. We were surprised by the bill: too expensive in my view.

Slow service, indifference to questions about slow service. The response to our enquiry about when chicken wings would arrive (when we had waited 35 mins already) was ‘they take 15 mins to cook you know? They are grilled’ no hint of concern or apology. When...

We came here for a late brunch and had an amazing meal. We sat outside and ordered the platter for 2 people. Plenty of different spreads to put on the delicious bread. Interesting cheeses and olives. Perfect for 2 people. Great service and atmosphere.

A nice hidden away Turkish restaurant in Soho. Service is pretty average and the portion sizes are pretty small. The chicken wings were sooo good- definitely the best dish. The potatoes were pretty dry and the prawns were not great.
