For me personally, it’s easiest the best local Chinese. Clean, friendly, ample free parking at the rear of property. Slightly more expensive than some other establishments, but the food does taste better for it.

Lovely food, friendly staff, would use more if they delivered. Preorder useful so you can just pop in to collect. Most others give free prawn crackers, you have to order then extra from youngs

Glad to see open again after Covid 19 lockdown. Telephone order and a bit of social distancing on collection but food and service still as good. Nothing not to like. Best Chinese by far we think.

I went here tonight as my normal chinese take out is closed on tuesday’s, i thoroughly regret this decision! My food was clearly microwaved, its a pretty open to hear kitchen, from the time i placed my order to the time i got it i did not hear nor see one bit being cooked fresh, my chilli beef was soggy and watery, rice was a solid lump with a rather off putting smell, it was 100% old produce, and my chicken balls were like soggy cardboard i would not recommend this place to anyone!

This takeaway is very very good. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Often busy so best to pre order by telephone. Food is excellent. Recommend the Youngs Chicken special if you like sweet and sour. Large menu to choose from, so shouldn’t be disappointed. Nice big car park at rear.

Had a takeaway from here, the food is above average for Chinese cuisine and it is reasonably priced. The spring rolls were especially yummy. The is parking along the side and at the back, which helps a lot.

The selection of Chinese in Sudbury is poor. This in my view is likely the best option and to a generally consistent. Dinner we had last light was fine and no complaints from anyone. I have always parked in their car park and have never had an issue - there is no-where else to park! It’s very busy at weekends and this is usually a good sign I would go back

Whenever I visit Sudbury area I always get a take away from here and the Chinese is always excellent and good quality and quantity

The food here is okay, I would regularly use this Chinese, however be warned that the owner doesn't like you parking in the car park, and will rudely confront you for doing so, he has twice done this to me now so I refuse to give him any further business.

The food was good but probably not much better than cornard. Will now go to cornard because Young’s don’t give free prawn crackers (£1.50) or fortune cookies and also don’t do a separate bbq sauce. Shame as it was my go to Chinese. P.s I’ve also heard they closed the restaurant part due to hygiene but is unconfirmed.

We live locally and have tried most of the Chinese takeaways around Sudbury, this is one of the best, quick and tasty, they do not deliver but it is worth the drive.

We had a take-away from here recently and were slightly disappointed by some of the dishes as they were not as tasty as we remembered from previous meals. The ribs in particular were very bland and quite tough. We prefer other Chinese take-aways in the area so are unlikely to order from here again.

We didn't enjoy our food at all. I had the special chow mein and it was far too slimy to enjoy. Plus, the meat didn't look appetising and the smell was unpleasant. So unpleasant that I threw it away after devouring my fourth noodle. However, the food was hot and the staff were friendly.

Tasty food, always consistent.. super friendly staff/management.. and spotlessly clean.. it's a 5 star establishment without doubt

Stopping in The Cabin just along the road I decided to revisit this takeaway. The chicken and sweet corn soup is amazing, the salt and pepper ribs about four times the size of those from my local at home and really meat. I had chicken chow m as a main - tasty with a good balance of flavours and not too salty. Very nice thanks.

Really tasty food to take away, particulary the crispy duck . It's also very fast . That's shame is only to take away .

Friendly happy staff, consistently great food and super fast! All other Chinese take always in the area are a bit hit and miss but we have never had a single problem here.

Our second takeaway selection and once again it was delicious. Excellent selection of dishes all well cooked and packed for transportation. Highly recommended.

La comida es tan deliciosa como debe ser, el personal es muy agradable y amable y te hacen sentir bienvenido, grandes porciones, mejor en sudbury. ! Totalmente recomendado sólo es una pena que ya no tienen un sólo deseo para llevar restaurante sal y pimienta que no chips jaja.

We used this place for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It was not to be regretted. Excellent food (Crispy duck, Beef and ginger etc) and we rang the order through in advance so no waiting around. We will definitely be using them again.

Tried Youngs for the first time yesterday evening. Food was fresh, tasty and good quality. Just wish they would do deliveries but would certainly use them again!

Good takeaway. Staff very friendly. Quick and always ready on time. Food freshly cooked and good choices. Just outside town centre and no delivery service.

Fabulous Oriental Cuisine from a family run business where nothing seems too much trouble.We have been regulars for over eight years and the food has been brilliant chosen from an extensive menu.

I live local and Youngs is my nearest takeaway i use this takeaway probably the most it has great service is very clean and well kept and the Chineses food in my oppinion is the best in town

I have been going to Youngs for years. Not sure how, but l think it's better now than 10 years ago. I'm no expert on chinese food, but the "dry chow mein" is a foodies heaven.It's not dry, not swamped in gravy, just right, never had it before.We only eat Chinese once a month, so don't want to be disappointed trying others.Partner has sweet and sour chicken, nice but not for me.The staff are so polite and want to please too.

We've tried most of the Chinese takeaways locally and Youngs is without doubt the best in our opinion. Always fresh ingredients, beautifully cooked and slightly cheaper than most, which is a bonus. It's the furthest takeaway from us in Cavendish but it's well worth the extra mileage and the food is still piping hot when I get home.

When I was a kid of about 11 or 12 in the early 1970's, I have happy memories of walking with my mum a mile or so in our leafy north London suburb to pick up our Friday night meal from our favourite Chinese take away.Those were the day's when Chinese restaurants and take away's (and Indians for that matter), had small manageable menus printed on blue or white card. No professional pictures of food that had never been near the kitchen of the restaurant it was advertising.The dishes whilst few, were generally cooked well because the menu wasn't 5 pages long and overblown.Fast forward 45 years and leaving our leafy London suburb (probably leafy no more), and replace it with a 6 mile car journey to Melford Road, Sudbury, and low and behold Youngs.To my taste they are serving almost retro style food. The menu is on a card and relatively short, but the dishes they do are freshly cooked and taste great. I invariably have sweet and sour king prawn balls, egg fried rice with a pancake roll on the side and I can honestly say this is the best I've eaten, ever!Long may it continue!

Excellent Chinese takeaway, lovely staff and a huge menu choice. It's such a shame the adjoining restaurant is no longer open as that was fantastic!

The food was okay and the prices similar to other Chinese takeaways locally, but I was expecting a slightly higher quality.

Good tasty food but expensive, noodles and chicken gravy over £6, come on you know how these two ingredients are relatively cheap, could be done for half that price and still make a handsome profit.

A family run take away, very friendly, helpful busy place. excellent food always willing to help you chose.

Supposedly the "best in town" according to reviews and yes, it is nice, but they seems to add an extra pound or so onto everything compared to the rest in town, they also don't offer a delivery service. I had chilly beef once and it was pretty tasteless, I had to add my own spice to it when I got home! It's decent enough, but I wouldn't give it the plaudits that others have bestowed upon it and it wouldn't be my first choice.

I always make a bee line to Youngs on my first night in Sudbury - the food is good value, high quality and large portioned. Last visit was a particularly good chicken in black bean sauce. Back in Sudbury for one night in July and I KNOW I WILL BE EATING FROM HERE!

After 12 years, it's still great food, great value! The service is very good, and the dishes have not changed in all this time. That's agood thing....

Well we were staying at friends in melford so we thought we would have a Chinese but it was okay .But I think the sauce was to runny it was swimming in it .sorry but not as good as my local whick may be I am fussy to much .are friends eat it all the. Time here .very nice staff here .need a few more reviews on here I think .

Not been for a while but went tonight! Very good, duck lovely, prawns and chicken also of good quality. It's always busy as it was tonight which is always a good sign. No sit down in Sudbury but this is worth the visit and maybe the best take a way chinese in the town.... Will go back. Reasonably priced

I have been visiting this restaurant for years. (I couldn't put a count to how many times) All I can say is that in that time I have never been disappointed by my experiences. The food is consistently excellent and I always look forward to my planned visits. Prices are reasonable especially given the level of customer service you receive. Lots of parking means no hassle coming and going, but also within easy walking distance of the town. Don't know what I'd do without them!
