This restaurant has been serving good foods and services for long time. The only difference is that portions size has gone little bit smaller than pervious. Overall, the foods are still delicious. The only issue with this is that there is limited car parking nearby which means that you will need to find car parking area if you want to visit. However, if you are food lover, be sure to try it out and I am sure you will enjoy it.

If you really desire authentic Korean cuisine then this restaurant is the place you need to visit. It has been in New Malden at least since 1988, and the first Ja jang myun restaurant , making hand made noodles and the delicious black bean sauce. This is though but one of the many excellent Korean dishes on the extensive menu. You are really spoilt for choice and all the dishes are cooked to the highest standard, and will have your taste buds dancing !! It is no surprise then that the proprietor has recently had an audience with King Charles the third, and was recognised by the President of South Korea in his recent visit to the U.K. with a certificate and medal for culinary services to the community. This is a straight forward, home cooking style no frills restaurant, but the welcome is genuine and the food delicious. For me this speaks dominions of any restaurant I visit. Try it for yourself, you won’t be disappointed .

We specifically came to New Camden for this Korean restaurant and it did not disappoint (well, maybe a tiny bit in the fact that they took dakgalbi of the menu). When we arrived, the place was full of Koreans, which is always a good sign. The food is amazing, and probably the best we had so far outside Korea. We tried several dishes and all were great and very authentic. Prices are correct and you get generous servings. After dinner, we also had a nice chat with the owner, who is a very friendly and accommodating lady. The restaurant is a bit out of New Camden's main road, but definitely worth the extra distance. A must-go if you like well-prepared and tasty Korean dishes.

amazing restaurant, extremely welcoming and obviously a popular local spot. the population of this area is largely korean and many koreans are always dining there. Food does not dissapoint and is always good. takeaway is great too and the ingredients are from the korean shop nearby and are authentic. Great place on a budget, looking for good traditional food, and for meals with family and freinds. Highly recommend.

We decided to visit this restaurant whiles we were in London, the food was very tasty, the owner and staff was welcoming and friendly. I mentioned to her that we come from Manchester and Liverpool and she gave us some freebies to takeaway, the prices were very reasonable and portion size are pretty big

We come to New Malden infrequently now, but in our 25+ years of visits, have mostly made time to visit YouMe when we do. We are never disappointed with the service and quality of food. Our most recent visit was no exception, the personal attention and great Korean food was brilliant. Every dish was made to order, my good lady has dietry needs (low salt/sugar) which were seen to in a lovely dish of of black-bean noodles. I had a mixed-meats platter, the meets, tender and delicious server with home-made gimchi and a kimchi pancake, I really enjoyed this meal, but moreso the service and atmosphere of this lovely establishment. When ever we come to New Malden, we will be back, hopefully for many more years to come.

Honestly beyond perfect. Amazing service, the staff are beyond friendly. Went for my birthday the day before writing this review and I legitimately cried from happiness in the restaurant. Gorgeous food and I thoroughly enjoyed the various small conversations I had with the staff. Would HIGHLY recommend going for any occasion, price point is honestly so deserved I’d happily pay more just to go back.

This is a lovely little restaurant. I took my 8 year old son for lunch as he was keen to try Korean food. The dishes we chose were delicious and the owner even brought us extra things for him to try. We would definitely return.

This tiny, unassuming restaurant off High Street really feels like a mom and pop restaurant in Korea. I asked for something that wasn't on the menu; they originally said they didn't have it, but when they brought out our meal, one of the owners had made it for us! The jjigae and kimchi are perfection, and they threw in a couple of banchan (I noticed a lot of restaurants in the area don't). The samgyeopsal was only so-so, but the owners made us feel like family - and for someone who misses Korea as a long-lost second home, that's everything.

This is my favourite korean restaurant! It feels like I'm stepping into someones home and it's so cosy. The owner is so lovely and her daughter are so lovely. The best thing is that they will change some recipes to make them vegetarian which means I get to try korean food that I havent been able to before due to them containing meat. Every other korean restaurant I've been to so far haven't done this. I've been to this restaurant so many times now and have introduced so many people to it. Often they will also offer little freebies. I've been given barley tea, a small dish of jajangmyeon and even a spoon! This is a great place for price, portions and atmosphere!

Came here for the first time. Ordered a few dishes had to wait a while as it was busy but I didn’t mind as I know cooking this kind of food takes a while. Very nice, large portions. Had to take the last dish away as too much. They have the typical dishes with bbq on the table. Will be coming back and trying few more new dishes

We make the trip out from Fulham to New Malden specifically to go to You Me. The food is home-style cooking and is prepared with love, care and attention, reminding us of meals cooked by family. The restaurant has been family-owned for 30 years with very friendly service. The kampungi and chajangmyun are our favourites!

Liked it. The fried chicken is great. Sea food pancake is nice. Ordered a bowl of noodles for my partner and he liked it very much. Rice wine tastes nice and we finished it all! The owner was very kind to help us to take away what’s left in the plate. A lovely place just outside the town centre within walking distance. Definitely visit again.

Small, cosy and authentic. We have been coming to this place for years now. Our children loves many of its dishes and have always stuck to some stalwart dishes, such as pajeon, chige and galbitang. More recently, we are starting to 'venture out' to try other dishes from its extensive menu and we have not been let down. Staff are down to earth, friendly and efficient. Keep it up!

Fantastic service, the lady was so nice. The Japchae was fantastic, the best I’ve had in New Malden - on a par with Kang Nam. We also had a fried chicken salad which was very tasty and spicy, surprising! Pancake Kimchijeon was thicker than we usually have but was very tasty. All in all really good. We are only around the corner and will definitely be back. Top 2 in New Malden.

Frequent visitor of You Me restaurant, a small yet cosy place to enjoy authentic, and extremely tasty Korean noodles. The restaurant offers a large menu of Korean delicacies, but we tend to go for the brown sauce noodles, Ja Daeng Myun and the hot spicy noodles, Jampon, which this restaurant cooks to perfection. Staff are always polite, and service is extremely prompt, side dishes of Kimchee, and pickled radish thown in for the price. We have tried other Korean restuarants in the area but none come close to the authentic noodles we enjoy at You Me. Give it a try, you won't be sorry you did !

I have been royal customer for over 10 years. So it is pains me to give an awful review. However, I do feel I need to make point. This restaurant used to serve good food in great price not to mention good potion too. However this has all changed. They are starting to employ Chinese as waitress they don't speak good Korean and unfortunately don't speak good English. So you are screwed! They often get things wrong and when customer complains they often make snide comments - they don't seems to realise others like can understand Korean.Funny thing is they behave well if the owner is present. Unfortunately the owners are often away!Food.... has unfortunately gone down hill a lot. Size of dishes have reduced considerably. I went there about six months ago and left disappointed but didn't want to write the place off. I visited this Saturday and left the place disappointed again. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If I can I would reward give zero star!

This restaurant is probably one of the oldest Korean restaurants in New Malden, I have been eating here on a fairly regular basis for about 10 years. I have eaten at most of the other local Korean restatements but keep coming back here. The menu includes pictures of most dishes so it is easy to order even if you are not familiar with Korean food. Pretty much everything on the menu we have tried has been good and the staff and owner are friendly and helpful.

My GF and I were in the mood for Korean food and had intended to go to Jin Go Gae (whose food we really liked) but alas it was closed Sunday for lunch. We did a quick search and found You Me nearby and given the reviews, thought 'why not'.The positive reviews were not wrong. We love this place. It's a tiny restaurant with an unassuming façade, but if you set that aside, the food was VERY good. We ordered barbeque beef and pork along with seafood bibimbop for takeaway. The portions were of good size and had a hearty taste to them. The seafood had plenty of flavour and did not taste old at all.We also found the staff friendly and helpful. We are now torn between Jin Go Gae (somewhat fancier décor) and You Me. While the former serves up a great meal as well, I am leaning towards You Me for the extra service.

A friend recommended this place as one of the best Korean restaurant in the area - he was right! Food was very tasty and the staff was extremely helpful. I have been wanting to try Korean food for some time and a friend recommended this restaurant. We were put in a side room - this had good and bad points - I would have like to have seen what others were eating. The waitress was incredibly helpful suggesting what we might like and we ordered a good range of food which was excellent. Saying that I was really disappointed with the Korean BBQ - it was completely overpriced and I was mugged off buying £5 worth of lettuce to go with it - it should have been included. So do go and try but dont be persuaded to have the BBQ - it is dull and uninteresting and very expensive. The wine - however - was excellent value - £13 for a bottle of Hardys.

I didn't enjoy my meal here quite as much as the ones I had at nearby Sorabol or Butcher, but hey it's still reasonably priced Korean BBQ so I still left a happy man. £50.10 for beef bulgogi, grilled squid & prawn, fried chicken in garlic sauce and sweet saucy chicken wings, with two Hite beers each. The service was very nice and the decor was strange but in a good and pleasing way.

We came in as a walk in customer, without any reservations. We were promptly greeted by a waitress who gave us a table and the menu. We were given enough time to choose what to order and they were attentive to our needs. It has a nice, homey atmosphere. We had a couple of free side dishes which were yummy. The food portions are generous, if you are a small eater you can probably share it with another small eater. The prices are on the expensive side. There is a nice friendly atmosphere, it's just a shame that me and my partner felt a bit left out as the owner was only chatting to Korean guests. We would also like to point out that part of the menu were written in Korean with no translation (we didn't ask for it to be translated). There are parking spaces near the restaurant. Food is very good.
