Overpriced average food. I bought a buffalo chicken sandwich and potatoes as a side. Totalled £13. The potatoes should be no more than 50p and sandwich is small, £5 at best. Average food extremely overpriced.

Salad not fresh. Quality sub standard. Processed, salty chicken. Potatoes hard and cold. Simply dreadful food. My 3 family members did not enjoy their meals either.

This is probably the worst breakfast i have ever had. i ordered takeaway from the Yolk on the Strand in central London. the egg and avo breakfast pot was tiny but also completely cold! the avo was freezing and the egg cold, gelatinous and deeply unpleasant. i ordered a slice of sourdough - for £1! - and it was so hard it was inedible, not to mention cold and greasy too. this all cost £4.20. absolute rip off, please avoid. Leon is a minute away and does fantastic breakfast pots. i will not be ordering here again.

Visited the new store on The Strand in London. Used the 50% off introductory offer. Food is ok and tasty but it’s barely warm. Seriously over priced for what it is. Not sure I’d pay full price.

Really poor customer service. Unable to talk to the multitude of staff with any degree of certainty that they will care. I just wanted a coffee. It took more than 10 minutes. Why?

Good choice of dishes but the beef was undercooked and tasted disgusting. I may be back for the veggies but I will look for another place that does beef

Undercooked to the point of salmonella danger. Asked for a re-fire and they came out easy when requested hard. Gorgeous design of the shop, but food was gross and almost inedible.

It was a cold day and I needed a coffee whilst I waited to meet some ex colleagues - came across this delightful cafe in New Street Square where the staff were friendly and the coffee fantastic. Thoroughly recommend this place.

Das Kaffee bietet alles was man in einem Kaffee erwartet. Gut gelegen und ordentlich ausgestattet, ist dies ein guter Platzfür zwischendurch.

Most disappointing, The wait staff seemed very friendly but there were at least four people giving them orders so the place seemed rather confused. After we were escorted to a seat we felt somewhat abandoned and after about five minutes had to get up, walk to the desk and ask for menus. My wife’s French Toast arrived and was accompanied by 8 berries and a single tablespoon of whipped cream, only one side of the slice of bread had been immersed in egg. My Hot Chocolate was so watery that I left most of it behind. In fact we had eaten half of our meal before we could flag down a staff member and enquire about our yet-to-arrive drinks only to be told that the bar was very busy. Well that certainly made us feel better. We eventually left our half-eaten food behind, paid the bill and left, never to return. Until the quality of food and service improves I would recommend avoiding this place.

Lovely room with very friendly wait staff. Buffet presentation was lovely and food good. Would recommend staying at this Hotel when in the city.

Rather expensive. Also a limited range of drinks for children. Central London prices (£3.85 for a bottled milkshake?!) which may explain why it seemed rather quiet.

First visit here and I have to say my blueberry muffin was the best I ever had. Proper sweet blueberrys inside. Incredible and a lovely moist muffin. I ordered a coffee but their machine had broken but the tea was fine. Plenty of it with decent crockery. Recommended for me with outdoor seating also
