Shocking.. Wasn't a hello or nothing strait to asking if we were above the age of 16 to eat food which I though was strange.. then to be ignored by that member of staff for the rest of out stay. The food and the kitchen were very pleasant amd polite as for the other lady not so much.

visited Yo! yesterday to try out their new bottomless belt offer. It has been a very long time since I’ve been able to eat as much sushi/sashimi as I want without breaking the bank 🤣so I was very much looking forward to this when I heard they brought this offer back for £30pp. Conveyor belt was full and loads of options for veggies too. Chefs were preparing new dishes and topping up the belt for the whole 90 mins we were there. Great selection of sushi rolls and sashimi for everyone. Food was fresh and staff were friendly and prompt to clear our table too. I did not take a picture of the total plates but I think between us we had roughly 28 plates and two drinks. This came to £67.40. Was told we saved £174….we did mainly eat from the yellow plates as it is our fave with sashimi and nigiri and it is £8.95 per plate. Would definitely recommend going to Yo! for this offer to satiate your sushi cravings like I did. Left the place with a very full belly and will definitely be back!

Went there two days ago and had the veggie dumpling ramen. The ramen noodles were soggy and the broth was tasteless, i couldn’t even eat it however, didn’t say anything and i wish i did so I could get my money back. The salmon sushi was also mushy and wasn’t up to much, just paid and left.was a Waste of money.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service we received during our recent visit, especially as we were dining with children. Unfortunately, my daughter had a small mishap and became ill. The staff member who reluctantly came to assist us was very unkind, despite my continued apologies. She made us feel so unwelcome that we decided to leave before finishing our lunch. We have never been made to feel so uncomfortable for something beyond our control. I kindly request that you train your staff to be more patient and kind, especially with families. Children can have accidents, and it's not the parents' fault. We shouldn't be made to feel worse when we're already under pressure and trying to calm a child. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Just had some food here tonight and it was such slow service. It wasn’t even that busy. Was sat at the bar so can see the kitchen staff very clearly and not one of them washed their hands in the 40m I was there. One guy had on a pair of gloves yet proceeded to touch everything including his face, pockets and own personal phone. Disgusting. Only reason I didn’t say something is because I was with my young daughter and didn’t want to upset her. Food was fine just took ages to arrive.

2024: Update: BRAEHEAD: What the hell have they done with the Ginger ? It's a bit yukk, looks dead pale and nowhere near as tasty as they previously served. It's like a raw unrefined taste. The previous Ginger which they have served for years had a sort of orangish tint to it and tasted amazing, this stuff is rotten in comparison, clearly a cost cutting exercise, it can be the only reason ! A bowl of Beef Teriyaki is now 8.50 quid, I usually buy two and a bottle of Coke @ 3.80. still reasonable I guess, but that Ginger 👇 Great food..decent prices. Usually busy but service is quick...Beef Terryaki is amazing..get it ordered !

Short staffed and took ages to be seated but the lady that served us was doing her best in the circumstances, she was very polite and helpful. The food wasn't great, small portions and is overpriced. The ipad that the chefs use to receive orders happened to be beside our table and we noticed it was filthy, covered in old splashes of sticky dirty fingerprints. Made us wonder about the cleanliness of the rest of the place. A large tub of salmon was left open beside us, lid removed and not being worked on for at least 30 mins and was still there when we left. All 3 of us had upset tummies afterwards. We are big sushi fans, but won't be returning to this place.

Dour face staff and Sushi boxes are full of moisture from the fridge. Ordered 2 chicken skewers and took 20 minutes to come with a sprinkle of slaw, they were over cooked to hell! Asda has a better YO sushi think we’ll stick to that.

I've eaten in Yo Sushi restaurants in various locations. The staff in this one were friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was as expected, although the number of items on the belt was fewer than expected. That may have been because of the time of day, early evening. The food service was slow for the hot food that we ordered. (The restaurant wasn't busy.) Perhaps we chose the wrong seat, looking into the cooking area. but our view was of piles of used utensils, packaging etc. waiting to be cleared. I'd not hurry back to this branch, but I will go to other Yo Sushi locations.

Great food, first time here, there wasn't too many staff & was a bit unsure how it worked. The young man who worked there helped us order & was helpful, didn't get his name though. Otherwise for first timers at the yo sushi i think a bit more customer service would be better as not everyone knows how it works.

Staff at yo sushi telling me “that’s my problem” the food having sat there for 2 hours (I know because I phoned them and the told me) the customer service from yo was absolutely disgusting and as such I have proceeded to file a formal complaint (no staff member would give me their name either)

Very tasty food, we had sushi, big bowl, sides and sharing veggie sushi platter. Everything well presented and tasty, with exception of the ramen bowl, which was fairly flavourless. Prices for sushi are comparable to most sushi places, but the portion sizes for sides and off the menu items were really disappointing. Tiny side plate of fries with sriracha mayo for near a fiver. Just too expensive to justify what you get. Staff polite and friendly. £70 for 4 of us for lunch (2 kids) - big bowl, sushi platter, side, sushi, one drink.

First visit was great. Second visit was today with my family for my birthday. My sons and wife ordered from the menu. I wanted to choose something from the conveyor, but nothing appeared. The photo is after I'd been sat for 40 minutes watching the same two vegan options go round with nothing add to the belt. This wasn't a quiet time. It was Saturday afternoon. The ordered food took so long I didn't want to order again and wait. After an hour, I asked for the bill and only then did a few dishes go on the conveyor. I did say to the waitress that I was really disappointed and I'd had nothing to eat. There was no real apology. I see others got refunds recently. I felt sorry for the lady who waited 45 minutes for takeaway. The attitude of one of the chefs seemed to be the problem.

My favourite food, I always enjoy here. Only downfall was the children's play area being close by so got a bit noisey at times but not the restaurants fault. Staff were lovely and food promptly served. Hygiene excellent.

Much better than the one off Sauchiehall Street In Glasgow. The food tasted a lot better and the place wasn't as run down. Staff were very friendly abd helpful and top marks to Becky the duty manager who did everything for this place to run smoothly. I had an enjoyable lunch. A little advice, only get involved with the Yo! Customer Service if you are made of strong stuff, they will do everything in their power to make it a terrible experience for you, and hope that you will simply drop any issues. If I could rate them, it would be another matter!

Main reason for 5 stars is the staff - person on the front desk was friendly and attentive and helped.me.out with mobility assistance. Chefs were always working hard. However the yo sushi experience itself isn't great - we had issues with the online ordering service where it just kept spinning at the payment screen. Portion sizes are small at yo sushi, and most of the food is prepared in advance, rather than made to order as far as I can tell. Pricing is high, and as it is just a sushi bar plonked in a shopping mall, so no atmosphere at all. Seating is very cramped. So staff great, but YO itself needs to try harder.

Poor service from staff. Lady who seated us seemed very angry and annoyed to assist/seat us. Tattooed kitchen staff lady shouted about hating everyone and wanting to kill everyone, while facing/looking at us making us very uncomfortable to ask for utensils we weren't given or able to order. The whole time we sat there most of the kitchen staff loudly spoke about hating the place and the people there. Never attend, I'd have left instantly if my order wasn't already paid for over the website when we experienced this. Very uncomfortable and makes you feel like a bother for just eating there. Young lad who actually got us utensils after sitting with our food for a while and asking for them was the only pleasant one.

Food is great. But the service is awful. On the day we ate there they had no noodles! We spent about 10 mins trying to find the dish on the app and when we asked for help we were told that if it's not there it's not available. Then we were asked did we not see the sign that said they had no noodles? Eh no, we didn't!! The staff stood around chewing their nails or on their phone, instead of helping customers or informing them of what wasn't available.

Food is ok but fairly expensive. Ordering is via a QR code and mobile phone. Food took FAR TOO LONG to arrive via the conveyor belt. I found the manager to be very passive aggressive. I was ordered to leave but at least he gave me a full refund. Food hygiene was not good in my opinion, bare hands / fingers were used to dip into the pots of salad which were added to the dishes as a garnish.

I have actualy never sat in but i used the to good to go app and yo sushi is on there. Its a great service to stop food waste. A few times i have got this at the last minute as you can imagine it goes quickly. The food you get is fantastic and the staff have it ready for you. The staff are always happy to see you and chat away. My wife lovees sushi we realy need to make a point of going here but from what i have tried its amazing great selection.

Excellent service. Tasty flavours but some of the food wasn't very well put together, resulting in a harder time eating it. I was well surprised at the tuna. It wasn't the vivid red type, but a more pink. The flavour reminded me more of raw pork mince than of steak. It is tasty but not the default tuna I'm used to. The speakers are right above the booths so they end up being just that little bit too loud, especially when the rest of the mall isn't noisy.

Charged over £30 and the restaurant just told me it’s not their problem… there was no indication that my order had left the restaurant and there was no indication of a correct time for the delivery… literally… the driver picked up my order and didn’t bother to even deliver it… hope you’ve enjoyed your meal. 0 stars!

Poor experience. Staff in the kitchen playing with a slinky, other staff on their phones, deep in conversation with one another, swearing loudly. We interrupted them with a very small order, food okay but a bit of a problem to get salt for the chips. Does anyone actually want to be served like this, QR code, menu on your phone, pay, little dish arrives on a conveyor belt? It's not for me. They added a tip on my bill. What on earth for??

The food arrived later than expected, it was cold, the smallest portions we have ever received for every item, the pumpkin from the katsu curry was undercooked so it was harder than usual and the squid was inedible. We usually love yo sushi but this was the worst we’ve ever had and didn’t eat it.

Not alot of sushi options these days. Ordered kids bento box and unfortunately it didn't come as expected. No fruit, substituted with custard pancakes instead, no fried rice, came with boiled rice instead. I don't mind it but I wish I was informed about it. Also I feel like portions are lacking.

Can't rate the food because when we sat down the kitchen equipment we were facing clearly hadn't been cleaned for a while. Fryers and down the side of the prep unit were filthy with spills and grime and put us off eating anything. When part of the experience is to see the food being prepared, the kitchen really should be spotless. First and last time.

Poor experience, sat in a booth and wasn't given any cutlery etc. Ordered through the app which is standard, no issues there. Kids box arrives, no cutlery or anything, had to ask and met with a sulky look. Adult food then comes and again, no chopsticks or anything, had to ask twice - considering it's not that cheap, you expect a basic level of customer service. Staff looked extremely unhappy, none of them wanted to be there. Would not visit again.

Awwww I was so sad. Really lovely staff but miserable portions. £16 for a sharer with less than one total roll on it. Sushi was cut so thin I couldn't pick it up with chopsticks without it folding. I've been to the one at Silverburn and the portions were much better. Really felt robbed.

Ordered for collection at half 4. Had to wait 40 mins past collection time to receive order. No acknowledgment from staff of long waiting time or update given. Didn't receive 2 items from order. Luckily checked before leaving and went back to say. Was ignored for over 10 mins and then I eventually got someone's attention and was asked are you sure they're not there, as if I was lying. Showed inside bags and was then given the 2 missing items. No apology given. Food was cold by time I received full order as had been left sitting on counter for long period. I regularly use yo! sushi but will be using a different store in future.

Just the most disappointing sushi I’ve ever seen in my life. The size of the sushi roll was sooooo tinyyyy unbelievable!!! And just a combination of rice and avocado, no mayo no nothing. Not even soya sauce in the package I was shocked!! I don’t suggest anyone to order sushi here.
