Really nice food and well presented, the guy who works there was very pleasant making the experience all the more better, if you like quiet cool and cosy its a good shout

Never normally give reviews but cannot give enough credit for this cafe. Each time I’ve been in there, I’ve always been welcomed with professional and kind mannerisms, lovely music in the background and feels very homely and warm. Not to mention the food, which the wraps and sandwiches are always made there and then, with fresh and crispy salad at a very decent price. Absolutely wonderful cafe, recommend to everyone, especially families if you want a homely atmosphere and business of you want a quiet efficient cafe. Jessica

This cafe is a real little gem in Carshalton. We had the most amazing and delicious breakfast here yesterday. Would highly recommend this amazing little cafe.The owner was lovely and friendly and nothing was too much for him.

I can't fault anything... Ever! It is always perfection and you can't quite believe it's a local independent cafe serving the delectable food and drink on offer!

I absolutely adore this place and miss it so much! The owner is so friendly and can't do enough. The pancakes are incredible. The only downside is that it's bijou!

Visited for 3rd time in 3wks. Staff friendly, with a nothing is too much trouble attitude. Family have enjoyed panini, salad and cakes, alongside coffee and milkshakes. Everything was freshly cooked, with great attention to detail. Will definately be a regular visitor.

The breakfast and brunches here are absolutely superb- all ingredients are fresh, and there’s real care and attention given to each serving. Great value with excellent range of coffees and milkshakes too. There can be a bit of a wait at times for food but that’s because everything is fresh. Would highly recommend this place!

One of our favourite cafes. The food might take a little longer here but boy it is worth it. Attention to detail is superb and flavours are amazing. The eggs benedict is amazing. The chicago hot dog is beautiful, I'm not even a fan of mustard but Abdel has a way with ingredients that makes it work. Nothing is too much trouble, highly recommended.

We are lucky to live close to the yew cafe. It is a little on the small side but with a warm friendly atmosphere everyone is accommodated and tables moved around with no problems. The breakfast menu caters for many different tastes but it is good wholesome produce cooked to a high standard. The blueberry and banana pancakes are delicious if you fancy a treat, the eggs Benedict is made from quality ingredients and is excellent. Kids’ portions are available and many locals pop in for take-out panini or sandwiches. I look forward to trying out other items on the menu and perhaps trying the lunch menu too on my next day off.

Once again a lovely relaxed breakfast & lunch with friends three days before that ... Abdel is a warm and welcoming host who will accommodate your food requirements if possible ... fab milkshakes in so many flavours, eggs always perfect (I’m a fusspot about eggs). A friend had pancakes again (she’d been dreaming of them from last time ) with blueberries, banana, syrup n cream yum! We’re grateful to have this little gem close by and hope that the business goes from strength to strength

Popped into this welcoming establishment on the way to Carshalton Station, as it's just around the corner. We were warmly welcomed and took a seat by the window. Myself & my partner ordered Eggs Florentine with sundried tomatoes and salad with fresh Artisan bread. All arrived in good time, perfectly cooked and prepared. Poached eggs were a joy with the oven fresh artisan bread, the tomatoes and light seasoning being a perfect accompaniment. We chatted and made plans for the day, enjoyed the good food, pleasant atmosphere, with the pleasant & cool staff. Grabbed a slice of the home made carrot cake, of which I'm scoffing now, Devine! A perfect reminder of the quality of this place & also a reminder of why I should submit this review. Will return, keep up the good work.

Brunch at Yew Cafe today with my hubby’s sister and her husband.. we had scrambled eggs with tomatoes and mushroom on artisan bread, falafel wrap and cheese and beef sandwich, carrot and lemon cakes as well as lattes and cappuccinos. Everything was fresh, delicious and nicely presented. This is a little gem, it gives you a bit of the experience of some of those trendy cafes in Borough Market or Shoreditch but without the price tag.

What a treat! Generous portions of very lovely food, really hot coffee and the most friendly owner. An absolute pleasure.

Popped in for coffee and stayed for a sandwich and homemade cake. Fantastic little find - great host. Lovely coffee (which you can takeaway) If you are in the area or on the way to or from the station its definitely worth popping in.

This newly opened independent cafe in Carshalton is a gem. Had a delicious brunch there, big thumbs up for the coffee, hot chocolate and home-made cakes too. People at the next table had some generous looking burgers.

A friend and I had a super lunch at the Yew Cafe, North Street, Carshalton today - club sandwich with lovely homemade bread and chips followed by homemade cake and ice cream. The food and coffee were excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. They certainly made us feel welcome. Will certainly be visiting there again soon and definitely recommend it.
