Excellent, freshly cooked food...great flavour, fair prices and prompt delivery. This area is generally pretty poor for reasonable takeaways .....We'll be back for sure!!

I am dissapointed with the food I have orderem. Big order, don’t order squid, they give tony ringu, instead of a piece of squid and don’t order duck as you will get as a quarter of duck - a piece of skin with some fakt on it. That’s all. Albo chow mein dishes are not toasty at all. Very hard been, two pieces of veg. Avoid this place!Find a different Chinese Restaurant nera you.

Have used this place for many years but with regret I will never use this place again we ordered food and when it come the order was wrong to which we rang to tell them it was wrong to be met by nothing short of rudeness from the lady on the phone finally when they agreed to rectify their mistakes it took them 2 hours to bring the food which I feel was deleberate this was 11.30 at night 3.5 hours later than when we put our original order in we only live one mile away so there was no excuse as far as I'm concerned a blatant disregard for there customer never again will I order from them they also wanted the food back in tact and un touched which made me feel that they would then give this food to another customer as they only seemed concerned about the food they had given us wrong in the first place

We have used Yat Sheng for many years both for a super fast delivery service and pick up excellent food great price and the tastiest big fat spring rolls.....

Salt pepper squid was flabby and very small serving. Singapore noodles bland. Honey duck and pork was served on rice which made up more than 80% of the serving and also rice was not listed in the description. Broccoli with oyster sauce was 50% overcooked broccoli rest was onions and carrots that were not in the description. Much better Chinese takeaway elsewhere. Disappointing

Always great quility food,the best I've ever had from a take away. the delivery can take awhile but definitely worth the wait.

Not my first time here and have returned. I don't mind the food at all, good enough for the price. Customer Service however, pretty awful. They were late and I called the restaurant and there's not a word of apologise or anything. So... Yeah.

If only I'd paid more attention to the reviewers who have mentioned 'odours'. The crispy shredded beef was inedible, after opening the container I thought it smelt odd, as the fork got to my mouth the smell got stronger, and then the taste confirmed what my nose was telling me. I rang them straight away and told them this, but the manager wasn't available, I was told they'd ring me back in 5-10 mins. 15 minutes passed and I rang them again. Incredibly unhelpful, and flat out refused to believe what I was saying. I only wanted a refund for the beef, the dumplings were nice and the chow mein was OK. Avoid.

Very bad food quality. Our meal had unpleasant odour when we opened the boxes. Shredded beef only had about 1% of beef in and duck looked and tasted more like beef. Would not reccomend

Food was awful!! Smelt disgusting, tastes disgusting! As though it was cooked days ago. After complaining, they then refused to swap our food for something fresh. Huge disappointment DO NOT ORDER! There are plenty of Chinese places!!

Delivery took 1 hour 15 minutes to arrive. No complementary prawn crackers. But staff all staff are extremely friendly and professional

they have never failed on a good meal, and when I ask for special request, they always fulfil.

Sent the wrong order and when I rang to tell them they did not apologise for sending the wrong order and did not reimburse me. Will go else where next time!

Good food, a bit expensive to be Chinese food. The shop charges you 1.50 for delivery but you have to go downstairs and meet him in the street

Took about 50 mins to arrive but when it did it was nice and hot. Portion sizes were good just about right and food quality was very good

Tasty food, could use more fresh veg in their dishes... The Pad Thai wasn't much to write home about but then again I didn't expect it to be as good as if you ordered from a Thai place

No matter how good the food at a takeout place may be, and it this case it was on the mediocre side, it does not matter if the delivery time and quality of service makes you want to cancel the order before it arrives. I placed my order at 8pm, it didn't arrive until around 10.30pm. During which time I had made a few phone calls to the restaurant and the person on the other end did not seem to even care, let alone offer an excuse as to the delay. I will not be ordering again because there are plenty of other good Chinese restaurants on this website, restaurants which would appreciate my custom a lot more than Yat Sheng.

Delivery came within 10-15 minutes but not a surprise that the food was poor quality with that time. My mini spring rolls were cold and bland, all I could taste was celery only. My plain noodles were extremely oily, very sickening. Sweet and sour chicken wasn't great either, vegetables weird tasting and crinkled, probably old stock. Seaweed was the worst I've ever tasted, wasn't even green, more like brown because of how old it was, tasted off. Entire meal went in the bin, waste of money.

The food arrived really quickly, however, the quality was as bad as bad mall food court Chinese food.

Hard to tell it was crispy shredded chicken, very similar to shredded beef. Fried rice pale and more like boiled rice. With £1.50 delivery charge free prawn crackers should be included. Delivered within 10 mins of order which makes me question quality.

The food is terrible and totally of the lowest standard. We ordered the crispy duck and the cucumbers and spring onions that came with it were disgusting and watery. Please read reviews before you order!

We love Yat Sheng. This meal was just as good as usual. Tasty and fresh. Good value. Lost one point for the squid being over-cooked; chewy but it still tasted good!

Best Chinese takeaway by far. Lovely,fresh and tasty. Special fried rice is always soft and white and full of chicken and shrimp.

The large spring roll was inedible as it was so salty. The small spring rolls were fine. The chichen satay was at best okay. The bbq spare ribs were the nicest thing I ordered, thank you. The chicken curry was a bit bland. Not the best take away, but certainly not the worst.
