I really enjoyed the talk and meditation beforehand, then the meal was really tasty and nicely presented. Had a great evening!

For £6 we had leek fritas with a beautiful mixed salad. There was a water jug on the large wooden tables with lemon slices in which was lovely. The waitress would have put ice in if needed. Well worth it and Ill be returning. There is a 15% discount for students and seniors but I didnt know this till afterwards but I didnt mind paying £6 anyway

I have been to this cafe quite a few times now and it never disappoints. I am not vegan or vegetarian but I can't get enough of the food here! Every day there is a different daily special and they are so imaginative with the menu. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and there is a lovely atmosphere too!

I have been meaning to go to this cafe for ages but was a bit put off by the steps as I’m a wheelchair user. With help managed today and was glad I did. Lovely little fire, comfortable seating for relaxing and chatting and very welcoming simple atmosphere. Great for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free diets. Food is simple but plentiful and very tasty. They had gf vegan chocolate cake which went down well with my hubby and daughter. I can imagine my next visit sitting with a good book and just taking a moment for me. They have meditation classes on site so look for availability. Please note this is not really accessible for wheelchair users due to steps (I can walk a few yards with help). Give it a go.

The Vajrapani Buddhist centre has re-opened its cafe. We had a vegetarian paella with a selection of salads for only £4.50. There was a small selection of homemade fresh dishes - a soup, 2 mains and a variety of cakes. All are vegetarian and some are vegan. What we really liked was the peaceful and warm atmosphere in this beautiful building - and the fact that you can just go and enjoy coffee and cake or a meal without being Buddhist or feeling that you need to sign up! A real treat, especially at this time of year.

Very relaxing and very tasty food . We were Passing on way though and had a lovely parsnip/apple soup and coffee. Highly recommend to everyone. Would equally divert my journey just to revisit .

Located just out of town location, but free on street parking and plenty of it. Visited with 3 friends on Thursday 9th November, food was exceptionally good. Particuarly good salad selection, one friend ordered soup which they said was also delicious. Everything was freshly prepared. Discount for students too! Venue itself is beautiful. Calm ambience. Wood beams and red brick. Service was really friendly and fast (under new management - used to be slow, now very efficient). We will definitely be regulars :)

... and a really pleasant experience overall. Firstly yes the food is all vegetarian, bonus for us. Secondly no the menu isn’t massive but the food on there is freshly made with good ingredients, it’s really well made and our vegetable curry was delicious, as was the cake and all fresh made, no processed rubbish. It’s about more than that though, the venue is beautiful, very relaxing and comforting. The people were so lovely, we had some lovely conversations and the whole experience was really very pleasant indeed. Finally it was unbelievably cheap, all three of us had plenty of great food, cake and two drinks each for around £20. Absolutely no question we will be going back regularly, we love it.

My daughter and I visited Sunday 5th Nov. Location is a bit out of the centre of Huddersfield, but easily accessible, next to main road from town centre. The cafe is in a converted church, with beams, high ceilings and a large nave window which allowed in plenty of natural light - very pleasant. The lady who served us was very friendly and solicitous, and delivered our order in a matter of minutes. We had falafel burgers, which came with a large and varied salad - tasty and very filling! Lunch for two, including drinks (organic juices), came to £15. Pleased to finally go somewhere that serves decent vegetarian food at a reasonable price! Will definitely go again.

Just been to this restaurant and had a great time , the food was wonderful and the service even better. Even though it was really busy we were seated quickly and served just as quickly. Haley was our waitress and she was very friendly and did a fantastic job. She’s a real credit to the restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
