Wootton Club at The Old Red Lion in Northampton

We went to a party there lovely little room, only downside was you couldn't buy drinks from the other bar unless you were a member, which made the wait to be serve quite long.

More like a village pub than a club. Very friendly, great entertainment, & a great atmosphere.

Astounded my business was turned away because I'm not a member. Most working men's have prices for members and non members to stay in business nowadays. No problem though, took my money to the Yeoman down the road

Brilliant place had my son in law's mum's wake here wed,nothing was to much trouble allowed to take food up early on evening before to put in fridges,great staff who kept the tea and coffee flowing and the bar staff where all so lovley highly recommend ❤

We had the private room for a Wrens reunion. Friendly service, staff good, all clean.

Lovely little club to take yourself & family to. My mum & stepdad were members here for loads of years & when they both passed within 6 months of each other it only seemed fitting to have there wakes here.

Brilliant working men's club. Staff are really good, club is spacious and clean. Members are friendly and hospitable. Nice place to go and get a cheap drink and have a laugh too

What a great venue. We had our Christmas work do there last night, had a pizza van in the carpark, our own private room with a stage and dance floor. Highly recommended.

Had a great time in there one night when they had a singer on. Two weeks later they wouldn't even let my boyfriend and I in on a weekday lunchtime. It's their prerogative as a 'club' of course, but I would rather they'd of turned us away the first time than pick and choose when they want to earn money.

Been recently refurbished, they need to broaden the range of weaker lagers. They only have Fosters, so if you are not a fan of that you have 3 other strong lagers to choose from. Not everyone wants to drink strong lager all night.

Went to see a Band Pure Genius. Wootton Club has been refurbished and looks so much brighter. We sampled the Chilli at £6.00 each. Very tasty. Band was excellent. Staff friendly.

Very nice place if you like that sort of thing, which I do. One star off because the first blokes I met supported Chelsea and Man U. But back on cos of the mediocre review from the other reviewer. Note, it is members-only, costs just over 14 quid a year, though. Not really likely to leave you living on the streets. Been busy, so not tried it on a sports day, but it looks very promising from that point of view. It has a nice games room, a decent pool table, skittles and the usual trimmings. With its own wide screen TV. Seems like a tidy place. You can get some food, but it is of the sort that's eaten straight away, the early bird catches the cheese and onion roll. The lady I assume to be the manageress is firm, but fair.

A smashing local. It's a club so you need to be a member, but very reasonable (currently £8 for the year, I think). Always a good selection of, well kept, local real ales. They've started serving food too: pizza, scampi etc. Great value. Big function room too if that's what you're after...
