Decent food, prices are a little high

This place has gone down hill dramatically, used to be the nicest in Bangor. The curry is no longer gorgeous, only watery and tasteless for the last couple of months. Ordered a beef curry fried rice tonight along with my order, got home and found chicken instead. This was the straw that broke the camels back, i Will not be back, I will give my weekly £42 to a takeaway that cares.

Food didn't look fresh in the buffet section, today been throwing up all morning disgusting place. Used to be the best in Bangor now its just rotten.

Absolutely disgusting service Will never use again! Arguing over chips because they didn’t take the order down correctly….. to put salt in the wound, what food we did get was disgusting!

Wokma, what a place, amazing food from the buffet, went in yesterday and was greeted as soon as i walk in, my son wanted to try the beef pad thai and i got a box, was only waiting for 5 mins, best service and lovely staff. will definitely be back here!

We were so Ill the day after eating here. Turns out my husband has salmonella! We will Not be back!

Food was bland cubes of chicken in a sauce . Yellow Thai curry apparently with onion and potatoes and shallots etc .. red Thai disgusting pink colour . Very poor . Stomach cramps after a small amount ..

Came tonight and got 2 large boxes, my partner was sharing with our nephew and me our son. The Asian cooks made rude comments in Chinese and laughed at us. Ridiculous. The food was rubbish too.

This Chinese used to be my favourite in Bangor. It has gone downhill big time. The chicken fried rice didn't have any colour. Obviously not using any soya sauce. They used sugar to sweeten the garlic chip instead of honey. The curry was watered down. Disgusted so won't be back.

First time I have had an issue hear I had contacted them about this straight away and have heard nothing back this was just over a week ago very dissatisfied that I have now had to write a review

We order weekly as a family and travel 5miles to collect it. The last few weeks they had drastically changed. Keep getting out order wrong, usually for us its the rice. We asked to add pineapple to our fried rice. The first time they messed up was by not giving us any rice at all, we called and complained. They said because we live 5 miles away delivery of a replacement rice would be at our cost of £8 and around an hour to deliver. Obviously we didn't accept that but we had no other option other than put it on their system that we are owed a rice. The second mess up was a little different after waiting for around 40 minutes in the shop om a pre-called collection for around £45 worth they rather than add pineapple to the rice they added onions, carrot, peas, peppers and the requested Pineapple. Clearly not what we ordered we again called to inform them. This time they offered us a free garlic chip to compensate but again it would have been at our expense to deliver or collect on next order. Never bothered asking for the free chip on next order. The last time was the same issue where they added all sorts of veg to the rice and when they were informed the girl on the phone had the worst attitude. Did not care the fact I was again waiting for over 30 minutes on a order I had called in prior to arrival. We explained that this order as always was to feed a family and their offer to have a new rice sent out wouldn't cut it. 1 because of the time which they said would be 1.5 hours and then 2.the fact all other food would be cold. They then offered to replace the whole order with fresh stuff again in an 1.5hrs time, we explained that it wouldn't work for us as the time of 1.5hours would be past the bedtime of our child so we would need to arrange alternative dinner anyway so would prefer our money back. The girl said she needed to call a manager and within 10 minutes called us back, again with no care for the issue and had taken the option of a full meal replacement off the table and said we can only have the cost of a fried rice refunded or a new rice delivered taking 1.5 hours. Again we highlighted that the rest of the food would be freezing and therefore a waste or we would be eating rice on its own.. she refused to understand and said she will send a delivery driver out with the money for the rice ending the call with a very abrupt "sorry bye" before hanging up. As a regular customer who would place an order most weekends I am very disappointed with the customer service received. I don’t know whats happening in the kitchen but whilst spending my accumulated 90 mins minimum watching the kitchen there seemed to be arguments all over. I would highly recommending AVOIDING this place until they sort out whatever issues it is and improve their Customer Service massively.

Bento box with king prawns and bento box with chicken rice noodles and miso soup and a drink was a big size and delicious I do recommend bento box will definitely be back lovely experience

Great food, always reliable and on time. Usually the large box meal is more than enough for one. Quick delivery.

After eating food, my Stomach was making grumble sounds i thought nothing off it, later that night I woke up soaked my stomach was aching 10min later, i vomited 7 times and sever diarrhea all night, never again.

Ordered two meals and they got one completely wrong. Called up to explain and the girl said there's nothing we can do! Ridiculous

Food is great but to many people inside not wearing face masks for a small area including the drivers.

Ordered our delivery early to avoid the weekend rush - the order took over an hour and a half to arrive and when it did half was not what was ordered and the meals were basically tepid and inedible. Not worth a repeat visit and wouldn't recommend it to friends, family, or even my worst enemies.

We came for the food but stayed for the sugar chicken.

My family have gone to this takeout for 5yrs now and OK they usually forget something but the food was good so we kept it as our go to. UNTIL TONIGHT! They've got a new girl who hasn't a clue what she's doing. When I phoned to place my order she didn't even know what a curry half and half was! Fair enough she's new so no big deal. I explained to her and put the rest of my order through. When we got our order there was a fried rice missing so I phoned to tell them. Lindsey (the new girl) told me to come back and get it. I said no as we were sitting down to our meal but if she could just make a note that I am owed it and I'll get it next time. She agreed and all was fine until half way through eating i get a phone call from Lindsey to tell me she read my order back to me and a FR wasn't mentioned! I explained that I had ordered a sweet and sour chicken in batter with FR. At this point she started raising her voice and telling me I hadnt!! I repeated my order to her as I'd written it down as i was ordering several meals for the family. Still she insisted that I hadn't ordered FR. I asked her why would I order s+s chicken in batter with fried rice and not have the rice?! It comes with rice!!! So then she said she put the chicken balls in with a garlic chip I'd ordered to make it cheaper. Why would you do this I asked. I was ordering the S+S chicken as a meal. Anyway I ended up putting the phone down as her attitude was horrendous. She should not be working with the public as she has absolutely no customer service sense. She has lost Wokma a family who went loyally every week. Thanks Lindsey.

not bad but never ask for rice if you're getting a box until the very end otherwise they will half fill it up with rice.

Staff are very patient and helpful. Food is beautiful. Place is clean. Good value for money especially if you get a large buffet box.

I must commend the staff as they were all extremely busy cleaning in the kitchen and in the customer area - the place is spotless! I ordered salt and chilli chicken with a chip to share with my husband. It was a good option and was well balanced and tasty. The chips were only okay but that's what j get for ordering English food! Can't wait to revisit

Ordered a delivery tonight arrived in good time but have to say was poor the spring rolls were terrible three tiny spring rolls that tasted frozen ,the crispy beef honey chilli was nice enough the chips where dreadful and tub off curry sauce wasn't great either for £15 expected better

Would recommend a large box, great selection with enough food for two! Open kitchen, very clean. Young girl on counter is so friendly, knowledgeable and friendly!

We ordered a Chinese when we were coming into Belfast and the said it would be 20 mins and we got to the restaurant 20 mins later and it wasn't ready . So we had to wait for 40 mins so in total about 1 hour for an order we were told 20 mins for.

Mix up with my address waited ages on it had 4 missed calls all come in at once when I called back went straight to answering machine , rang up too order again weeks later to a very rude response and passive and didn't have the time off day ... I tierd explain myself lady said driver was at my door which a complete lie as I sat for an hour and half waiting won't be ordering from here again

Ever since I went here I will never go to any other place. All I can say is it’s amazing. I would recommend egg fried rice with chicken

Normally always good with lovely food. But tonight ordered along with another girl ended up waiting for my food 20 minutes at least longer aswell getting home to wrong order. Very disappointed normally a Chinese you can go into and out in less than 10 minutes. No card service aswell is very poor considering it's 2018

Really bad service, they got the order wrong then tried to say he was on the phone and misheard me, was not on the phone as I waited for him to finish. Other half went in to get the order changed and they sat and argued with him over the order in front of other customers. Was a regular customer once a week and will not be back.

A good Sushi food outlet. Well worth a visit.

Sushi is not made fresh everyday . Tuna is out off tin . Some of the food sent out shouldn't be . I witnessed and recorded one off the young cooks , preparing duck as a started . He de boned the duck , threw bone in bin and continued to chop duck and put it into container . One of the older chefs told him that bone went with meal . He lifted it out off food waste bin and placed it into customers delivery order .... Food like bbq ribs , chicken and honey chicken dropped on floor and then just put into flyers 😠😠😠😠 .. So I won't use this place at all . Be warned

Definitely wouldn't recommend for big eater. The boxes of food are never filled and the sauce is ALWAYSSS very limited.

The food was so disappointing, I ordered garlic chips and they may as well have had a bag of sugar on them they were far to sweet and also there was no taste or sign of garlic. They fried rice was flavourless I could have made the same thing at home. Also funny when the owner Rihanna heron wrights an amazing review on her own place 😂😂😂

Got a delivery last night and it was so fast was told 45mins but I received it within 20mins food was great and also customer service was fabulous the driver was also very nice. Would also like to add that as it was my first time getting from wokamama the girl on the phone was so helpful and talked me through the menu will definitely be back

Amazing food, very well priced. Huge selection which means loads to choose from. There's Japanese and Thai food as well as Chinese and it's all lovely. There's fresh sushi as well which is the nicest I've tried. Customer service is also extremely good as staff are all very helpful.

Food was expensive and tasteless most of it went in the bin will not be back and they wont be there for long not at them prices !

I will not be back, order freshly made sushi expecting some nice fresh tuna or salmon- got tinned tuna- ordered the chicken bento box, dish was actually inedible and was supposed to come with a miso soup- didn't arrive. My wife order vegetable Thai red curry which consisted with 95%onions(not exaggerating) with fried rice/chips- rice arrived covered in curry sauce. My kids had a kids chow mein that was bland. All three dishes went in the bin. Menu looked and read great but unfortunately I would prefer to eat the actual menu.

We ordered 3 meals, and all 3 were very dissapointing, most of our order was particularly bland, however the Thai curry was inedible, the only taste was of uncooked coconut milk, I had one fork and couldn't eat anymore. The other meals were barely touched and we had to cook another dinner because we were so hungry! The food is also quite expensive! Better of with ordering from a more established Asian restaurant in Bangor!
