The food is as authentic as you will find in the area, however, it’s an extremely pricey for the quality.

Very poor service. The food was terrible and tasteless. Will not be going back.

Edit: July 2024. Golden Elephant Walkden has been voted 1st in our house. Order direct from the website for saving. After 20 years they've now lost me as a customer due to incompetence. British 'Chinese' food with some Thai, Korean and surrounding countries. But at a price! And no free prawn crackers! Edit: Unfortunately the best Chinese in the area by a mile.

Horrible tasteless mess, microwaved food and found a hair in the noodles

The staff where rude when taking the order and upon collection, then the food was very sub standard, the char sui pork was cut into the smallest cubes every my wife's chow mein was very bland

We gave it another go but never again. £28 worth of SLOP. Overcooked veg, prawns & noodles. Too salty, slight hint of disinfectant in two cremated prawns, rubbery chicken. I’d rather have had a Pot Noodle. Wok’s Up in Boothstown is a million miles better & cheaper

Shocking quality, just got chicken chow mein, it’s made with packet sliced chicken, cold raw veg launched on top of tasteless noodles. Nasty!

Only rated a 1 star as there wasn’t anything lower! Wow what a let down to say the least. Cost a small fortune for a family of four and let’s say, don’t order the noodle box as it’s full of noodles no taste, no meat and raw veg. Really disappointing and ripped off 😡 avoid at all cost

EXTREMELY OVERPRICED for a takeaway. 2 mains and a starter nearly £40. Plain tasting, warm at delivery. Would definitely not recommend or order from here again. I could go to a local restaurant for a sit down meal with 2/3 drinks and pay less than this for what was a bang average takeaway. I would recommend that charging £9.60 for 4 ribs as a starter needs urgently reviewing. Would like to leave 0 stars but isn’t an option.

Very good food (unbeatable Salt & Pepper Chips). However, pretty expensive and over-reliant on non-recyclable plastic tubs (even for fried rice and their 'Noodle Boxes').

Absolutely disgusting! If I could leave ZERO stars I would! Ordered £33 worth of food, got it home to find the chicken was off (it stunk!!) and was inedible!! Rang up, they offered a refund, I had to drive all the way back the following day as it’s a 30min drive. We’d eaten the starter (£5.50) so imagine the shock when they only refunded £25 Unbelievably rude, uninterested customer service and rips you off in the process! Will never order from them again!!!

A few years ago I would have given 5 stars as I always really enjoyed everything I ordered however the food I order regularly for myself has gradually gone downhill since then. I don't think the quality is as good now. The King Prawn Chow Mein is still tasty however the Salt n Pepper chicken wings which were my favourite have got smaller and smaller and drier and drier and I will not buy them again here as I am always disappointed with them now. I ordered duck spring rolls 4 the 1st time recently and they looked like cheap party 1s so tiny. Waitrose 1s r much better value and huge so r M&S ones. I have not ordered Salt n Pepper chips 4 a while but they used to be great. I have only ever used this take out for Chinese food for over a decade however I am now going 2 try elsewhere 4 a change. Sorry. Also I prefer not 2 have my take out arrive in plastic containers even though u can't recycle the card 1s.

i love it so much! the food is absolutely amazing- i usually have trouble finding things i like to eat and places that i like to eat from but this place is brilliant!!

Use to love wok2go - shame they don't do any vegetarian dishes anymore! Double checked the menu and nearly every dish has a number 5 against it which means contains fish! Clarified this with the manager who confirmed it was their new seasoning!

Been going to Wok2Go for years. Probably the best chicken szechuan I've ever tasted. The flavours are fantastic. Highly recommended.

Food is normally good, but recently service has been awful. I ordered at 5.20 and told 6-6.30 for delivery. I then received an update saying it was delayed until 7pm. I received a further call saying it was delayed again due to how busy they were to 7-7.30, and was told it would me no later than 7.30pm. 7.50pm after phoning over 12 times and being hung upon it each time, someone finally answered to advise ‘it has just left with the driver. 8pm - Food still hasn’t arrived ! Dreadful service. If they can’t cope with the demand, they shouldn’t take the orders. I would think twice before ordering of your hungry!

Just ordered, specifically, battered chicken with cantonese sauce for collection. What came was FRIED chicken. Rang to complain and they said I could go back and get the correct order. I was unable to go back and asked for delivery, but they said no to that. So, I have no food to eat. They have offered credit off next order. Very poor service from what I had considered to be a good take-away.

Over priced, over cooked, 2 hours for delivery.

The box meals are worth the price as you get good size portions. I couldn't finish nine and had it for lunch the next day. The staff are friendly and polite. The social distancing measures are in place so you may have to wait outside. We have been three times now. It is better to order in advance so you don't have to wait outside. It does get very busy at dinner times so order in advance.

Ordered via their app at 6:10pm for collection & I arrived at restaurant 6:30pm thinking it would be ready as their app said food ready between 6:15pm - 6:30pm. Had to wait a further 20min before it was ready. However the food was very nice! I'm going to give them the benefit of a doubt regarding the wait due to the situation with covid as alot more people are ordering takeaways these days.

Ordered 2 noodle boxes one come in a tiny box that wouldn't fill a five year old even tho i paid £17.20 when I phoned they said it's different chef's and they said that's how they are. Been here many times before with no problems but after today never again ile go somewhere else

AWFUL NEVER AGAIN ..........AVOID When ordering food they would not compromise with a rice dish for noodles. Neither would they add duck to a noodle dish on their menu We ordered Char Siu on its own but they insisted it had to come with a sauce. The food arrived it was bland, spare ribs were luke warm, prawns were over cooked and dry. the last £35 they ever get out of me!!!!!!!!!!

If I could have given zero stars I would!! Placed an order for over £30 with these jokers on a saturday night. They accepted the order online and it was down as cooking... got a phone call an hour later to say that they were too busy to do my order. Absolutely disgusting

Terrible service and expensive, bang average food! I spent a lot on a take-away and the guy got my order wrong, which I discovered once I'd drove home. I called to request they corrected it and was told I must bring the incorrect dish back to them, rather than they deliver to me! Reluctantly I drove back and was then told I needed to pay the additional 70pence for the correct dish. The guy had a bad attitude and also questioned why I wasn't happy with what I was given!? Should have slapped his greasy head.

Great food Only ordered once but arrived in good time and the food was excellent. Sizzling Chilli Beef and Jasmine rice. Said to be very hot but it was just right without any after burn or tingling mouth. I think yhe amount was about right and there was enough rice. Price wise slightly more than my usual Chinese but if it is good and carries on being it will be worth it. The menu is wide ranging so another order is likely to try out something else. Watch this space.

Delivery service was pretty late, however the person was very polite and kind. Yet the food arrived cold, the egg fried rice tasted like an over cooked bag of uncle bens PLAIN microwaveable rice, the Cantonese shredded beef was rather soggy rather than crispy, more spicy than sweet and barely came with any sauce. Prawn toast was also freezing, yum! Accompanied by the most watery sauce I have ever seen. My brother enjoyed the seaweed, so that’s good... but that’s meant to be cold. Quite disappointed to be honest, I’ve enjoyed the food from here a lot in the past.

Dreadful service. Wok to go delivered the wrong order. Despite us paying for delivery and despite Wok to go accepting they got the order wrong they indicated that the only way it could be rectified would be for us to return the order to the shop to receive a refund or wait ANOTHER hour. Apparently this is their “policy”. Unbelievable that customers have to go out of their way to rectify Wok to Go’s mistake. Little in the way of an apology and the manager refused to speak to us and let the co-worker defend their stance.

Terrible management not sure on the food didn't get that far wanted to order set meal for 6 but had a child allergic to sea food so wanted to swap to egg fried rice and change ribs to salt n pepper but they couldn't do it said only could change 1 so lost £120 order (even spoke to supervisor who clearly has no buisness sense ) Well done thanks to LITTLE BUDDA who accomadated our order with no problems 👍👊

New to the area, first night in the house- customary take away from the Worsley branch. Can't fault it. Ok priced, fast delivery, fresh and hot. Easy to use website and lovely delivery guy. Food was great. Will use again and recommend.

Been a good customer of there’s for a while now and although massively overpriced it’s the only one local to us. But last night I ordered some food for delivery. Food didn’t arrive for an hour so I rang to chase it up and was told it has been delivered. I kept saying it hadn’t been delivered to me and they just kept saying it had. I carried on insisting them I was in no receipt of food and they continuously accused me of lying and denied me a refund and wouldn’t do me another order unless I paid again. Demanded I spoke to the manager and was told he’d ring in an hr. Started cooking a meal as we were due to go out and a knock at the door with the food ......... it had been delivered to the wrong address. Nice cold food for dinner it was! Rang the shop and there was no apology. Absolutely zero customer service!! Very stressful experience. They’ve lost several very good customers now.

Portion sizes are huge! It definitely was healthier, the meal was a bit dry, it needed more sauce. Would order again if I wanted to be healthy, I felt like I didn't have an actual takeaway.

NO questioning the quality of the food here, but its a tad too expensive, I would say 20% off what it should be.

What can i say, i think some people just like to moan. We have honestly been going there for years and i got to say one of the favourites has got to be the O.K ribs (don't let the name put you off, they are more than o.k). They are not like those stupid little chopped up ribs you get at other chinese' either, they look like they have come off a prize winning ox. We have also recently just tried the hot box, we initially thought it might be overpriced but gave it a go, once we opened it we knew this wasn't the case and will defenitely order it again. "If carlsberg did chinese........" (hopefully not breaking any copyright laws here).

Really disappointed. Having had our starter, started dishing out our main while my husband dived in the shower and noticed there were no chillis in our Garlic, chilli chicken and the chips were over done. Called and was told I had ordered just garlic chicken. I told the member of staff that was not the case. I was then told we could go and take our order back and swap it but was not offered a delivery of the correct order. Due to me being in my pjs and hubby in the shower I declined and was stuck with a very bland meal. I was also advised on how to order the meal I would like in future to which I replied that I've been ordering it for years and managed to get the correct order so far. Last few visits have been disappointing unfortunately and I think for the price of the meals a delivery charge is ridiculous. We'll be looking for a new Chinese. 😕

Probably the most delicious, irresistible food on the planet. I hate it when they post photos of their food on their Instagram account when I'm trying to resist the temptaion. I fail, but not miserably - I'm always glad afterwards. Recommended - no brainer.

Nasi goreng not edible, not worth the price. It is boiled rice in sweet and sour sauce. On top of that, I asked twice for low spice and got something that was drowned in chili, which is likely an attempt to hide the fact that it is rice with sweet and sour sauce. It is not difficult to do fried rice, this place failed spectacularly

Ordered online at 6.45 and it stated 45 minute wait which was fine. Food turned up at 8.10, not impressed. Called in between to ask where it was and was told the driver had left with our food, we waited a further 20 mins after the phone call. I ordered the satay as usual as there was no sauce, it had all dried up to a jelly like mess and the pork was way to chewy. I did not eat it. This is not a cheap place either, will not bother again.

Really disappointed ordered £45 worth of food for it to take two hours to come in then phoned to let them know how annoyed I was and to ask for some discount as my guests had left so I didn't hhave use for all the food that was coming and was refused awful customer service to say the least.

We had duck chicken and spicy beef....tasted great, great service, kitchen on view so you can watch your food cooking...

Very slow service, missing items, cold food, bad customer service with a couldn't care less attitude. Avoid!!!
