Everything was going good untill we seen boss take the lamb chops out of the microwave, was like something out of a horror movie

Order from this regularly, but most recent delivery driver is terrible. Couldn't find my address, gave up trying to find them after 10 minutes. Never got my food. Waiting on a refund now. Puts me off getting delivery in the future.

Meat was so thick and greasy I couldnt eat it The chips were like hard potato slabs and it was all microwaved .

The worst overpriced curry and the order was wrong

Lived nearby for 7 years and it took up until about 12 months ago to try this place. Such great value for money and the tastiest Indian takeaway in the greater Manchester area. I’ve never been disappointed, and I’m a huge fan of a curry. Highly recommend the paneer shashlik and the chicken pakoras. Best tarka dhall too. (Sorry about spellings, too busy stuffing my face)

Had chicken briyani last day, one of the worst biryani that I ever tasted. It's just haldi rice with few chicken pieces in it.

I’ve been visiting TC for around 30yrs! Amazing curries and superb chips!

Part of the order was missing, part was wrong and I was charged more at the door than on the phone. When I phoned to tell them I was told "we will give you extra next time", erm no not good enough, also there was an air of attitude from him, he really didn't want to rectify the issue, he ignored the extra pricing issue and said he will send what I'm missing. We shall see. They did not send what I was missing. We Will not ever use their service again

I've just ordered egg pilau rice chicken rogan josh(chips should be free with the curry) pampadoms yogurt mint sauce and mango cost nearly £20 said 30/45mins that was at 5 25 it came at 6.40 no chips I rang back said he didn't charge me for the chips(should be free) but instead he wants another £2.50 said he gave me my rice free so I asked why did it come to nearly £20 says served with boiled rice or chips he said he gave my rice free so I asked again why that much he said he had to charge me £1 for rice so while waiting fir my chips my other food was getting cold I order from here regularly but not now I think they well over charged me

literally ordered on Uber eats cos they were ADVERTISED ON THERE, when my food didn’t arrive, I called them and was greeted with an extremely rude man on the phone telling me they don’t deliver to my address.. if they didn’t then why was it on the app?? Then I was told it would be 30 more minutes.. so I waited and it got CANCELLED. Utterly ridiculous.

We usually have a takeaway once a week it's always really lovely and hot and the drivers are always nice and polite. Very pleased with the food and the service !!

Can't believe the price increase since ordering in may , shocking!! How can you justify adding between 2 and 4 quid on each item ! What are you thinking of, been ordering from here the last 30 years , but no more !! You just lost lot of customers!!

Food was nice. Portions exceptionally small and prices high due to amount given. This takeaway is in Salford not Didsbury.

Been going here since the day it opened and can honestly say it's still the best , ok there are odd times when it's not perfect but it knock's spots off every other take away we have been to , we travel here all the way from Radcliffe as the local ones are awful . Very surprised to read that staff are rude, never had a problem with them , always polite and friendly and happy to tweak the menu options.

I have been a customer for over 30 years & never had a complaint! But now the staff are so rude, not too long ago they was closed down to rat infestation & recently 2 of my family members suffered with food poisoning after eating from there! Eat from here at ur peril! I NEVER will again!!!

I went here about a week ago, I was hungry and it was late and it was open, that was pretty much the only thing going for this place. I got the food home which only took 3 mins, the chips were nice (hence the two stars) unfortunately I tippped the chicken tikka curry on the top of them and immediately regretted it, my chips were now in a pool of dirty water that was supposed to be curry, I managed to tip most of the fluid into the sink and was left with damp chips, some pink looking chicken and some curry that looked like watery baby food with 0 taste. I will not be returning.

Been ordering from here since love balti closed and it’s pretty decent. The chicken is definitely not as good quality as love balti but everything else is great! The chips are great. It would be 5 stars from me if the chicken was better quality, i usually just have to leave it out or only eat a couple of pieces. The onion bhajis are great and delivery times are usually really fast as well so far! We have ordered one a week for a couple of months now and all i can say is try using a better quality of meat :)

Orderd food at 6 50 told 1 hour still waiting 2 and half hours later what is going on this place has gone down hill big time been ordering from here for 25 years and honestly this past few months the service is shocking !!! Sort it out tandoori cottage going to loose a lot of loyal customers

Avoid these place at all costs after waiting over 2 hours for the food to arrive it was very poor, I'm not from the area and somebody recommended this place WOW worst curry I've ever had by a mile bland no flavour can't believe how bad it was like a bad curry jar from aldi.

The food was decent and tasty, isn't the best I've had but it is well filling.

Love this place but been a little inconsistent of late......spice level keeps changing, but still a great place.....maybe I will have to change to a hotter option maybe!

Got to be the most bland curry I've ever had. Rice was watery and the lamb was none existent. Curry sauce was insipid and tasted disappointing. The only part that was remotely edible was a side order of fried mushrooms and onions and a semi cold nan bread. Never will I ever go back.

Outstanding place, once of the best in Manchester for taste and value. Been eating here for a while but never left a review. They where so kind so do me a half paneer/lamb rogan josh with extras for a decent price. Highly recommend

Great food lovley friendly staff

(28 Sept 2019) The last few times we've been here, we have been sorely disappointed. The Madras sauce used to be beautiful, rich and red, full of flavour. Last week it tasted as though someone had poured a whole bottle of vinegar in! This week it was weirdly sweet and undercooked, pale orange and bland. Please sort it out, it would be a shame to go elsewhere after almost 30 years

Really gone down hill, the madras tastes sweet. I want a hot curry sauce not a curry that tastes like cake.

Been using this place for about 20 years. Had our usual order last night . After eating most of the meal we realised the meat samosa smelled of bad meat. Today myself and my missus have been vomiting and not been of the toilet. Food poisoning about sums it up. Won’t be eating from there again. 🤮
