Had the most lovely server she was polite welcoming and very helpful and she was really busy but never rushed us to order even when I didn't know about no card payment she still took time to help me food top notch just what we were looking for as we don't get nice Chinese food from where we live and deffo will use when over again p.s live anywhere near and want awesome Chinese this is the place to go

Ordered chilli crispy beef was disgusting, beef was just gristle and was like chewing gum avoid at all costs unless you want to waste your money

Took almost 2 hours for delivery, was lied to that my order was definitely on the way after 1 hour, food was awful and there was no way to complain as they took their phone off. Used to be really good but not anymore.

Ordered through just eat. Found a clump of hair in my food.. literally a clump of about 40 hair strands. Rang them and the girl on the phone refused a refund.. this happened last year but just popped into my head and I'm still annoyed

One of the most expensive Chinese takeaways in the town and definitely not near the best, don't understand why they are on ballymena eats app as they never offer deals on it like the other Chinese takeaways do on the app every single week. Perhaps they think it's a privilege for app users to pay additional 50p booking fee for the pleasure.

Definitely the worst Chinese, and most probably the worst take away I've ever had. The Szechuan 'sauce' was very slightly salty, garlicky, and chili gravy, but mostly tasted of nothing. It had a gloupy, gelatinous texture. There was a lot of beef, but it had a wet surface, possibly the gloupy sauce but seemed somehow different. It was okayish but flavourless and a little fatty. The rice was old and dry and the chips even worse. Old, recooked stubs of cardboard.

Food not as good as it used to be. Staff friendly, order on time fairly priced.

Food arrived after 1 hour 30 minutes, there were no prawn crackers despite requesting two bags and there were vegetables in the chicken despite asking for none! I can’t even phone the business to discuss with the owner as the line is constantly busy. I’ve tried 90+ time!

It was 45 mins late, no contact to say it was late and when I called there was no apology. The meal was almost cold and chips were not fresh before it went out. V disappointed.

Decided to update my review. From it has been sold the food has went badly down hill. My last 3 meals have been awful. Last weeks was the worst. Spring rolls dripping in grease only 1 was edible at a push. The meat is definitely of poorer quality, beef is full of fat and the chicken tough and rubbery. When the previous owner were there the food was the highest quality. Been eating there for years and alas I won’t be back. Seems I’m not the only person to think like this.

I got a large chunk of chicken in my vegetable dish that was marketed as vegetarian! Was half way through eating at the time! Unacceptable!!! they obviously use the same wok for meat and vegetarian dishes yet still market as vegetarian. This dish was actually labelled as vegetarian not just vegetable!

Food is some of the best for local takeaway. I'd recommend ordering for collection as delivery and be a bit hit or miss

Food tastes of "BBQ taste" fried rice dishes and noddle dishes, needs better seasoning. Food used to be nice. Beef was tough and meat portions in containers minimal.Only two king prawns in my large salted chilli special beef not crispy was soggy ,loaded with raw onions and raw shredded carrots to bulk it up very little meat. Carrots don't go with that dish in chinese.I like a variety of vegetables they only use peppers, onions, bean sprouts,mushrooms in their dishes. Just started lately with raw carrots.Noodles tastless over cooked left sitting in containers in hot cupboard not cooked to order same as fried rice. Staff pleasant though. Poor food and got expensive.

Been eating out of here as years and have never had a bad feed! Staff are lovely also.

Went to work to box on Christmas Eve and gave them £53 for my order. Waited 45 minutes for the food as I couldn't phone in an order as they had the phones turned off. When I got home I was short a portion of chips , fried rice and the tub of gravy was actually curry sauce. Couldn't be bothered going back as I had already waited so long for the food.

I tried to order food on the website and it didn’t get confirmed but the money is out of my account. They won’t answer there’s phones at all and I’ve been trying for the past hour. I’m very annoyed if I wanted to be stressed out I’d go to work

We have found the food from this takeaway excellent, even when we get home some 16miles away it was still hot. Brilliant service,very polite and helpful,friendly.

The best Chinese food we have ever had, and my parents were at the opening of the first Chinese in Ballymena about 55 years ago, so I reckon I know Chinese food. Not only is the food amazing, the staff are brilliant.

I rang the shop first to see if they were open and delivering. Then ordered through the just eat app, went to pay at checkout and my order was declined. Now I live 5 miles from the Chinese 7 minutes if you drive. I wonder if it's the fact I live in kells. Not very impressed especially the fact that I work for the NHS very disappointed in the wok box.

rang for a delivery at 5pm rang at 6pm to be told it was out for delivery and would be 10 minutes. called back at 630pm to be told the order hadnt been made and had been forgotten about. I was told the order would be made straight away and be with me ASAP. rang back at 710 pm to be told i had been left a message( with i haven't as if yet still received) querying if i still wanted the food ( which i was still waiting on more than 2 hours later) I asked to speak to the owner who was by far the rudest woman i have ever spoken to who did not offer any form of apology but was instead told not to use her service again and that I should work with her in the current situation. If her staff hadnt told me on numerous occasions that it was their lack of effort i would possibly have taken this as a reason. Never order from these rogues.

Great staff and food. They're really quick as well. Been ordering from here for years and recently had a problem with my order which was immediately put right beyond what I expected. Order from their own app (Orderyoyo app) to avoid the illegal 50p charge that Just Eat charge for making card payments. Just Eat somehow got themselves exempted from having to obey the law that every other business has to comply with.

Possibly the WORST Chinese food I’ve tasted in a very long time The pork was so old and tough I don’t think I dare even offer it to my neighbour’s dog!!! Don’t think I’ll be getting a takeaway from there for a very long time Please get your act together Wok to Box you used to be good!!
