Wok Inn in Down

Chinese take-aways are often the luck of the draw, some merely turn out bland stir-fry and soggy noodle dishes with a generic "asian" flavour. The Wok Inn, however, is in my opinion, one of only two Chinese take-aways I have found - Ever - that I look forward to visiting. The food is always excellent and full of flavour, the portions are good but not too much, and the quantity of quality meat is better than almost anywhere else I've ever been. The staff are friendly and helpful. A great experience all round! Thank you Wok Inn!

I have been searching for a good Chinese close to me for ages. Have tried others but it was just the same old same old. Have even tried dishes of a different name but were the same dish. This place is totally different. Fresh ingredients and great flavours. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

I love the wok inn takeaway food. It is always fresh, delicious and satisfying. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The menu has a variety of dishes to suit different tastes and preferences. Whether I want something spicy, sweet, crunchy or creamy, I can find it at wok in. My favorite dish is the chicken curry with chips and rice . It is so flavorful and filling. I highly recommend wok inn to anyone who enjoys Asian cuisine.

Ordered food at 17.11. Phoned back at 17.58 as order wasn't delivered to request time of arrival to be informed that the driver had "just grabbed it". Waited until 18.27 and was informed that it was "on it's way". Ask why order took so long to be delivered. Was put onto "the boss". Well what a rude person she was. If that's the boss I would think retraining is needed. I appreciate that they were under pressure but don't promise a 30 -40 minute delivery time and take over an hour.

Malaysia chicken satay is gorgeous

The go to Chinese in downpatrick, never had a disappointing order out of here, everything tastes amazing. They can be super busy at times but for good reason. Worth the wait if there is one.

Was just passing through and needed a snack to keep hunger at bay. I ordered the special ribs in a honey and plum sauce. They were big and fatty. Honey(maybe syrup I am unsure) but minutest sign of plum sauce. Cost £5.50 was OK as were most menu prices. There is a large and varied Asian menu but I have found in many Chinese take aways they are poor imitations. Prices on menu are cheaper than what other towns charge. I will try again..

We absolutely LOVE this Chinese never ever disappointed, they deliver to us even though we are just outside Downpatrick Town, amazing food, friendly staff. Moved to NI in July and wouldn't go anywhere else for a Chinese. Highly recommended

They have an extensive menu and we really enjoyed the food.

We order a takeaway with delivery most sundays and i can honestly say the service and standard of food is second to none. Friendly delivery driver and it seems iv hardly ordered it and hes on the doorstep with piping hot food. Beef in their curry is really tender and delicious. Cannot recommend highly enough and in fact we started using Wok Inn cos it was recommended to us !! So that says it all

Best Chinese food in Downpatrick by a mile. No competition. Food is always great and portions are really generous too.

My favourite take away - the salt & chilli tofu is the best in the area, they have a big menu and are happy to make dishes vegan if you ask and the staff are lovely. Highly recommended.

Waited t and a half hours on food. They had got the wrong house number after I had explicitly said my house number 3 times. Driver came with my food and proceeded to run to the shop with my money so he could give me my change then was 70 p short.

Delivered promptly. I recommend the ribs as a starter and cantonese sweet and sour chicken with noodles. I will be using this service again.

We had a nice meal tonight we really enjoyed it. Best Chinese meal we have had in a while. Service was excellent and very friendly. Sorry, tonight was not so good, curry was very runny not up to you usual standard did not finish or enjoy but the spring rolls and service was was good.
