Excellent welcome, friendly, great cakes and usual range of hot drinks. Facilities available at front of hall, with disabled access. Very good fare, very easy on the pocket too. We have a great time when we go there, and the philosophy is spot on. Knowing that any profit supports the elderly gives you a good feeling too. Would strongly commend WISE.

Visited this cafe after a walk along the riverbank. My friend and I were greeted immediately on entering by the two ladies serving and given a menu straightaway. We ordered a decaf cappucino each along with a piece of cake, which was delicious. The prices were very reasonable and we will definitely be calling in again.Just a shame they are only open midweek for three days!

Came here for brunch with my baby and partner. My partner and I were greeted immediately by friendly staff and were given menus. We both ordered the full English breakfast and two coffees. I could not fault either. Extremely friendly staff and fresh food. Including some amazing cakes on offer. Will be returning.

I frequently go to the wise owl café in Boston Spa. The food and drink always excellent especially toasted teacake. I'm bacon butty which I often choose. The cakes are yummy as well. Tea and coffee always come hot. The staff and very good as well. Always friendly efficient and helpful. Access for wheelchairs can be rather difficult but much easier through the village hall doors instead of the little side corridor with 90 degree turning straight into the cafe. Well worth a visit. I can highly recommend to anybody.

Arriving early for a meeting in the area my friend and I were looking for a cafe for coffe and spotted the Wise Owl. Coffee and an amazing selection of homemade cakes - we sampled the ginger cake and cranberry fruit cake, both delicious. The ladies were friendly and helped with directions. We will certainly call in when next in the area.

We often stop here for light refreshments with the Wetherby U3A cycling group. The café is aimed at elderly people in the local area [I am only 77 of course]. The ladies who run the café are all volunteers, and I think they make the cakes and scones themselves. Good for a light snack but not open every day.

I went there with my husband. It's very nice place. Inside or outside anywhere you can sit. Their foods are very reasonable and quality of the food is really awesome. I found this is very sofisticated place where we can sit with family or friends and spend some quality time.

The Wise Owl is run by volunteers who make the cakes etc., Always a happy bunch of servers. The café is inside the village hall, with plenty of parking. We use it as s top for our U3A cycle group, and have a stop for coffee and cake, always enjoyable and very good value.

I normally have a sandwich and a coffee the staff give up their time everything is fresh cakes are yum yum and donated by people in the village. There is a menu which is very varied and plenty of choice nothing is too much trouble and service is brilliant.

Called in today for lunch after a walk off the Boston Spa website. Very friendly staff who welcomed us and the dog. In fact the dog got served first with a bowl of water. The home made soup and full sandwich for £5 was great value. There was a hot meal of the week-lamb with vegetables again for £5.

Amazing! Really not a bad word to say. Incredible service (not on top of us at all but always attentive). Amazing food (good portion size and taste was fantastic!). Decor and cleanliness also top tier. We had a lovely meal and would easily recommend to anyone. We went for Sunday lunch and all got different meats which were so tasty. Mum had the Veg option and loved it (she’s usually a little fussy). Really really well done to the whole team. Is a little on the pricey side but for this food and service it’s a bargain!

I’ve been here several times and the food is always so fresh and tasty. It’s a friendly neighbourhood cafe, but also I genuinely think it has the best breakfasts in Leeds!

Walking down Briggate towards The Pack Horse Pub in a roundabout way my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into this Greggs outlet for a quick munch to eat. Your usual Greggs, all the goodies prominently on display, we got a steak bake each and a pack of 4 sausage rolls to share ,we enjoyed these delicious pastries along Briggate, becoming a bit of a Greggs fiend lately ,can't seem to pass one without dropping in,my excuse about lockdown blubber gain is looking a bit tired now that restrictions have been lifted 🤣🤣, this Greggs along Briggate is most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area and open from 9am till 7pm Monday to Sunday.
