Willows Cafe in Stevenage

We visited in August and the place has changed name to Mollie's cafe. My omelette was really nice, but pretty small compared to what other local breakfast places serve. My boyfriend had a burger that was pretty small and basic. His salad was unwashed, you could see soil in the lettuce. Taking aside the important hygiene side around the salad, the burger price was too expensive for its taste, lack of components and size. Wouldn't visit again.

I’ve been meaning to drop in as I’ve heard lovely reviews about the cafe, I had their breakfast baguette ( egg and bacon ), well the baguettes are freshly made today and my eggs made to order, soft but not too runny and thick bacon! Well I’ll be definitely back again soon, this was delicious Thanks x 🤤😊

Another delicious award winning Mauritian curry wrap by Martin Burnside at the Willows Cafe. I like mine a bit more spicy 🌶 and this was perfect. Love them so much I took one home for later. You might remember this from the little hut in town. If you still haven’t tried one an absolute must for came be enjoyed breakfast lunch or dinner.

Popped in to have something to eat but was put off the fact that there was a mop and bucket with dirty water on the premises where they prepare the food. The chef was looking very stressed and sweating over the food. I’m surprised they have a good hygiene rating. I changed my mind about eating there especially with covid situation

Found this little cafe tucked away on recommendation of a friend. It is a little gem. You can hear yourself talk, cozy and very inviting. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. We have been last couple of weeks for breakfast on Saturday morning. I am not one for a full English and whilst not fully committed to being vegetarian or vegan I do enjoy that type of food. So I had the very tasty vegan breakfast. Lovely smashed avocado on toast served with mushrooms and tomatoes. The portion size is spot on for me and it is very tasty indeed. Would thoroughly recommend a visit
