Very friendly and efficient service

Booked a table for 8pm on Tuesday the 4th March. Turned up early, as there's 9 of us so wanted to be early. Booking confirmed online via email. Wanted to ring them prior with 9 people to help them out but no one answered the phone. Called 2 or 3 times but just rang out so booked online. On arrival told we cannot accept us, despite the booking. We would be waiting for food too long and we can't be seated. Obviously understandable without the booking but that had already been confirmed. Then told the booking didn't exist anyway so no matter what we aren't eating there. Stepped out the door and went across the road, sat down within minutes and welcomed a party of 9. Wouldn't mind, but on arrival at Wildwood there was probably 1 large table and the odd 2s and 4s. What's the point allowing the booking if A) you won't honour it and B) it doesn't even show on the system. Chain restaurant so won't care but none of us will ever go to your other places elsewhere. The chap greeting us did not care one bit either.

walked in this place tonight to get a table. Only half full got started at , ignored never got approached to be offered a table. Rude vile people . we had amazing service and a meal over the road at Harvey’s with a warm welcome. 6 tables ofdiners in Harvey’s also got ignored.YOUR LOSS

I had a fantastic experience at Wildwood in Llandudno! The service by Andreia was absolutely amazing—she was incredibly quick and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, with generous portion sizes that left me fully satisfied. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the quality was excellent. I would definitely return and highly recommend Wildwood to others looking for great food and excellent service in Llandudno!

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Wildwood in Llandudno. The menu's variety meant everyone in our party found something they loved. Our waiter was a standout, providing knowledgeable and friendly service, and guiding us to the perfect meal choices. The food was served promptly, and we appreciated that it was hot and fresh. The restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting, with a great decor. Parking was easy, with pay and display options nearby and free street parking after 5 pm. The level access was also a big plus. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Nicely decorated and warm enviroment on Llandundo's main street. Staff polite and attentive though they missed some parts of our order including water which was asked twice and never arrived. We opted for nibbles and wine and all of them.were moderately to bad executed. Prices look good initially but they dont reflect the quality of the food you get. Maybe it was just a bad day.

I stumbled upon this place while wandering around and I’m so glad I did! The food was amazing—had the Rosemary Garlic Bread, Oven Baked Lasagne, and Piccante Carne, all spot on in taste and presentation. The service was top-notch; from the warm welcome to a friendly farewell, I felt well taken care of throughout my visit. The atmosphere was just right, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Can't wait to come back for more!

Good food, great service and super quick ?

I was dining on my own hence the atmosphere to me was quite austere.

Front of house team were friendly and efficient, they were however let down by the kitchen over and over. Massive waits between courses, I'm talking an hour plus. Food was mediocre at best and certainly wasn't worth the price and considering there were just two of us eating, our meals came out 10 minutes apart, even after waiting an hour. The serving staff were apologetic all evening and the person who was greeting at the door spent the evening making different excuses for the wait to different tables and offering discounts.

I had a fantastic evening at Wildwood! The Valentine's menu was a knockout, with loads of great dish options that were definitely worth it. The service was spot on; the staff greeted us warmly and made sure we enjoyed every moment, right up to the prompt bill. Plus, the special cocktail was excellent! Can't wait to come back for more.

I had an incredible meal recently and couldn't be happier with my experience! The British rib-eye steak was absolutely delicious, with perfect taste and presentation, while the Spaghetti Pomodoro was a real treat too. The staff were super friendly and made sure everything was just right, checking in on us regularly. Everything was spotless, and I felt like I got great value for my money. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Food is great, but unfortunately the new prawn and saffron risotto turned out to be just another portion of chips.

The original order time was 40-50 mins and the time kept going up and down! I called the restaurant and they said it had left them. It then took about an hour before it arrived, so we actually waited two hours from ordering and the app has not links to help. The restaurant are not responsible, the driver and app let us down on this occasion.

We were at Wildwood Llandudno for a family event. 11 people made more than complex due to the fact that there are 3 coeliacs. Molly and the rest of the team were outstanding and should be complimented. The food was brilliant too. I will recommend to anyone and everyone!

Never again!! We came to Wildwood with a couple of friends on the 27th of December, the staff were friendly enough, but service was slow (drinks took much longer than expected, and a couple of people ordered chips which came about 5 minutes after the mains). I had the seafood linguine, and spent the rest of the night violently throwing up due to food poisoning. We called the restaurant to let them know (as a safety precaution to make sure no one else was seriously ill) and the manager was very defensive and dismissive. A clear sign that they get this often? He took our details, but never followed up to ensure his customers were okay. We informed him at the time of the initial call that we would be reporting this incident to the Food Standards Agency, and have since done so. Please be careful dining here, food poisoning is no joke, especially sea food.. such a shame the manager here doesn’t take it seriously!

Ordered two takeaway pepperoni pizzas. My partner and I agreed that they were probably the worst pizzas we'd ever eaten. With what appeared to be just two ingredients, cheese and pepperoni, on a dry, tasteless and chewey base, they were horrible. There's over £28 I'll never see again. Hugely disappointing.

Just eaten here, wow. We’ll be back to this place. Welcomed to our table, fantastic food, really nice atmosphere. Glad we’ve found this as an option vs other options in Llandudno. Kind of place where it’s good to take kids but equally a great option for something more intimate. Really impressed with the food 👌🏻

Absolutely dreadful food, peri peri chicken pasta with not one peace of chicken in it! Expensive pasta with some cream sauce! A real cheek to serve such a poor meal. Sorry but really not fair on your customers…

I visited recently and had a really enjoyable experience overall. The food was fantastic, particularly the soup of the day which had a brilliant taste, though I was a bit disappointed that some items like the mixed olives weren’t available. The atmosphere was lovely, making it a great spot to relax, but I felt the service could have been a tad friendlier, and the wait time for my order was a bit longer than I’d hoped. Still, I’ll definitely be coming back for another meal!

A well located restaurant in the heart of Llandudno. Tastefully decorated with comfy chairs and tables. Greeted within seconds of entering, escorted to table and asked if we were happy with the location. Drinks / water offered with the menus and orders taken promptly. Courses delivered, nice and hot and checked occasionally to see that we were happy and satisfied. We had a tasty meal, in nice surroundings with excellent attentive and professional service from Molly. 5 ⭐!

Stunning restaurant, great atmosphere and amazing service from the staff. The downside unfortunately was the food 😕 asked for a medium-well steak and it was swimmimg in blood closer to rare than medium, really undercooked which was disappointing considering the price. Also my wife's spaghetti was really poor undercooked and lacked any type of flavour. Shame really because the staff and the atmosphere was excellent.

All stars for the services. So a friend took me out for a nice dinner date at Wildwood and I had an awesome experience. I had cream pasta with cheese, it was my first time, my friend had seafood soup and white rice, very spicy and delicious. I enjoyed my date. The staff were courteous and respectful.

We passed by during the day and thought how lovely it looked, so we booked a table for early evening. When we arrived we were struck by what a lovely atmosphere it was there. The service was superb throughout and the food delicious. We all ate 3 courses and had drinks, and the meal for 4 was under £40 a head. Excellent. Vist this restaurant, you won't regret it.

I received the wrong pizza and it was cold on delivery. They kept pushing the delivery time back so I guess the pizza was probably standing for a while.

We ordered vegetarian risotto and baked goats and mushroom penne. Veg risotto was average, a bit bland. Penne was good the cheese was amazing, although not enough mushrooms for a mushroom pasta. Ambience was really nice. Staff was kind and welcoming. Will recommend.

Nice place, very popular. I took some penne all' angerta, something simple, unfortunately the pasta was very overcooked. The waitress was very kind. The prices were fair.

Had a 3 course lunch here today. Food was excellent, very tasty and good portion sizes, and the service was great. Enough said. Highly recommend and would eat here again.

V busy - large party of 11 who were obviously privileged above smaller parties of 4 and less like ours challenged kitchen capacity. Our wait between starters and mains was compensated by decent discount on mains by manager.

Visited for an evening meal recently with some colleagues after trying a few other locations that were fully booked. The venue was quite quiet - maybe 6 or 7 tables of people and so we were seated pretty quickly and given our menus. Given it didn't seem that busy there, service was actually quite slow. There was quite a delay in ordering drinks and then quite a long delay waiting for food to come out, although it did pretty much all come out together given there were eight of us. The food was very tasty and well presented - no issues there at all. The pricing for meals is pretty reasonable too. I had the ribeye steak which was around £23 and was cooked exactly as requested. The place didn't give the feeling of an independent restaurant, which I assumed it was. It had much more of a feel of a larger chain restaurant and not having that that more personable service. Certainly nothing wrong with the food or location and would visit again.

Date of Visit: Sunday 6th October 2024 - ***ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING*** service from the smart gentleman who greeted us warmly (he even went to the shop over the road to get me some vinegar) You Sir are a sincere credit to the hospitality industry - The pizza was ***EXCELLENT*** and rivals my favourite place (Dinos) nearby ! No Tuna topping was a slight let down and the waitress wasn’t sure what Disaronno was and said ‘we don’t have it’ even though they had 2 bottles behind the bar (more training needed there I think as a sale very nearly got missed !) My wife’s Expresso Martini was ***GREAT… EXCELLENT*** (her words, not mine; ha ha !) The only minor criticism I have is that everybody was seated so close together, with so much unused space; it just felt a little needlessly claustrophobic. We would both definitely return though as it’s a beautiful place - Thank you for your service my man :)

We were a party of 16 l, aged between 22 months and 96 years. Service was very good. The food was excellent. All our meals came out together. Overall we had a fantastic experience! Special thanks to the maitre d’ for his lovely singing voice and for making us all feel so very welcome

Drinks were a bit slow in coming out considering there were only 8 people in restaurant. But by tge time our mammal arrived the restaurant was almost full . But with only 3 staff on the floor food was taking a bit long coming out ,but it was worth the wait .

Booked for myself and my husband for a pre theatre meal at Venu Cymru. The food was lovely, and our server Molly was a delight. She couldn't do enough for us. She was very friendly and was most helpful. The manager also greeted us warmly, and welcomed us to the restaurant.

Great food and excellent service from Andrea. Shame about the General Manager slagging off job applicants, and wanting to discipline children. Generally spoiling the atmosphere for us with the volume of his voice. Would suggest he sits in an office and not with the customers. Do visit if you get a chance thou. Food was great!

I ate here whilst on a day trip on Thursday 8th August 2024. The decorative is super inviting and the menu looked faultless so in I went. The manager/owner is lovely and friendly. Not long after being seated, my party heard a family complaining and very upset about her meal. The manager offered 50% off and then after further upset offered it on the house. I thought the lady was just an awkward customer until it came to my table's order. Nearly half the menu wasn't available due to no delivery that morning (our first disappointment). We did a lunch special-2 courses for under £15. We ordered dessert and waited around 50 minutes. In which time I went upstairs to the bathroom and passed an open doorway where my waitress was with another waitress having a break whilst downstairs the bartender was left to do their job in an increasingly busy restaurant. At this point the manager was not in the building either. The bartender apologised and offered us two free coffees. At this point tables either side of mine were waiting 50 minutes for their mains, lots of apologies from the bartender. When the manager returned, several tables were being offered 50% off or even their meals for free because everyone was waiting far too long. A business can't remain in profit if that keeps happening? The waitresses were not around for most of the time we were in this restaurant (nearly 3 hours). When they were present they had attitude of not wanting to wait tables and serve food. It seemed like they were boycotting someone's business which is sad. They even asked what we were waiting for, when we said dessert they literally couldn't have cared less. Needless to say, we didn't pay service charge. If the owner sees this, please keep the bartender but get new waitresses if you want biz to do well?... The food was good bit this visit wasted 3 hours of my life, I could have got back to Huddersfield in that time.

Went here early evening with mum on a mobility scooter . All the staff were amazing and welcoming in accommodating the scooter . The food was freshly made and very tasty .great atmosphere with a mixed age group in there so suitable for all . Nice to relax in clean and friendly surroundings Definately recommended

If you’re on holiday and don’t want to waste your time don’t come here. The only saving grace is that the food is decent. Firstly despite the restaurant being mostly empty, it took around 20 minutes to get our orders taken. Then it took around 30 minutes just for the starters to arrive. We assumed it would be another couple minutes for the mains but that took another 50 minutes for it to arrive. When we noticed other people who arrived after us get all their food before us we complained about the amount of time it was taking. However we were dismissed by staff as being ignorant of how restaurants work. When we suggested cancelling our order, staff apologised insincerely and said the food would be brought out now. It was, but then we were expected to wait another 30 minutes for desert. We cancelled that and left. It seems from other reviews that the main problem is the service. My suggestion is that the owner replaces the service staff as they don’t seem to care much for good service. Also get an additional chef as is seems there’s only one person working in the kitchen which is probably why service is so slow. But that’s no excuse for condescending comments from staff and poor attitude.

Disgraceful service at the restaurant. We had to wait 1hr and 30 mins for starters and mains. When we complained we were talked to by a woman who I believe was perhaps a manager or senior waiter, who said that this is how it works at restaurants (as if I'd never been to a restaurant before!) Our protests fell on ears which were unwilling to listen. We should have never have come here. The food and drinks after the wait were okay, average at best. Don't make the same mistake I made, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

The food was okay, however service was extremely slow, starters took over half an hour to arrive and mains took over an hour. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all and people arrived after us and received all their food before us. When we questioned this we were spoken to in a very patronising way and told that this is how restaurants are and no one apologised at all. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone unless they are happy to wait all day for mediocre food.

Nice relaxed atmosphere. Extra pepperoni pizzas had hardly any pepperoni so would hate to think what they would be like without the extra but still very tasty.

We went to there last night the food was good but was shocked with the price of the drinks, was charged 4.40 for half a poretti a pint was 6.95 which is robbery. Service was a bit slow but won’t go back.

went in for a bite before we left, service was amazing and food was amazing. would 100% go again, perfect to bring with dogs when your outside even brought out a free dog bowl. thing we loved most about the service was how approachable and friendly the servers were, how nothing was awkward and how we could have a conversation with the servers like nothing. will be returning!

The seared tuna steak was too dry and tough, not very enjoyable, and the seafood risotto was just okay.

I have visited this restaurant 3rd time in past 2 years, this time the quality and the quantity of the food was not same as it was earlier. May the chef is changed or may be it was good amount of rush (not sure) but this time I can’t give rating more than 3. Thanks for the service.

Food is above average, but lacked floor staff, need to wait awhile to be served (can’t see any smiles on their face…) Not feeling very welcome actually.

We stopped here for some food after a long day, the food was nice, the service was ok but they seemed to struggle with all the customers, reasonably priced.

First of all we came here couple of years ago and we thought it was really good, but not now. It took a while for anyone to come to take order, the waitress was a bit dizzy got order wrong, then the food arrived and to be honest it was just ok and bland, nothing great. In general the staff just seemed to be flat and not very responsive to customers, atmosphere seemed a bit awkward. Will NOT be returning.

Tried to order at 9pm on just eat all Ordered and accepted then at 9.15 the restaurant canceled the order and stopped serving food……. If you don’t want my money then I’ll spend it elsewhere.
