Too expensive for me, £100 for 3 of us, 2 pizzas and a chicken burger. Nothing special and £9.40 for a glass of Pinot.

Food good ,good place to eat in Llandudno. Very good staff .well recommend

We ordered vegetarian risotto and baked goats and mushroom penne. Veg risotto was average, a bit bland. Penne was good the cheese was amazing, although not enough mushrooms for a mushroom pasta. Ambience was really nice. Staff was kind and welcoming. Will recommend.

Gratefully acommodated quite a few of us at short notice. Good menu choices. Very tasty and very helpful staff. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Nice place, very popular. I took some penne all' angerta, something simple, unfortunately the pasta was very overcooked. The waitress was very kind. The prices were fair.

Had a 3 course lunch here today. Food was excellent, very tasty and good portion sizes, and the service was great. Enough said. Highly recommend and would eat here again.

V busy - large party of 11 who were obviously privileged above smaller parties of 4 and less like ours challenged kitchen capacity. Our wait between starters and mains was compensated by decent discount on mains by manager.

Good food but could do with an extra team member serving as they were extremely rushed

Visited for an evening meal recently with some colleagues after trying a few other locations that were fully booked. The venue was quite quiet - maybe 6 or 7 tables of people and so we were seated pretty quickly and given our menus. Given it didn't seem that busy there, service was actually quite slow. There was quite a delay in ordering drinks and then quite a long delay waiting for food to come out, although it did pretty much all come out together given there were eight of us. The food was very tasty and well presented - no issues there at all. The pricing for meals is pretty reasonable too. I had the ribeye steak which was around £23 and was cooked exactly as requested. The place didn't give the feeling of an independent restaurant, which I assumed it was. It had much more of a feel of a larger chain restaurant and not having that that more personable service. Certainly nothing wrong with the food or location and would visit again.

Solid chain with good options. Good location in Llandudno.

Date of Visit: Sunday 6th October 2024 - ***ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING*** service from the smart gentleman who greeted us warmly (he even went to the shop over the road to get me some vinegar) You Sir are a sincere credit to the hospitality industry - The pizza was ***EXCELLENT*** and rivals my favourite place (Dinos) nearby ! No Tuna topping was a slight let down and the waitress wasn’t sure what Disaronno was and said ‘we don’t have it’ even though they had 2 bottles behind the bar (more training needed there I think as a sale very nearly got missed !) My wife’s Expresso Martini was ***GREAT… EXCELLENT*** (her words, not mine; ha ha !) The only minor criticism I have is that everybody was seated so close together, with so much unused space; it just felt a little needlessly claustrophobic. We would both definitely return though as it’s a beautiful place - Thank you for your service my man :)

We were a party of 16 l, aged between 22 months and 96 years. Service was very good. The food was excellent. All our meals came out together. Overall we had a fantastic experience! Special thanks to the maitre d’ for his lovely singing voice and for making us all feel so very welcome

Drinks were a bit slow in coming out considering there were only 8 people in restaurant. But by tge time our mammal arrived the restaurant was almost full . But with only 3 staff on the floor food was taking a bit long coming out ,but it was worth the wait .

Lunch time 3 of the items I chose they did not have had resoto a lot to shout about. Will I go again just like the chips I ordered they and I will not show up

Booked for myself and my husband for a pre theatre meal at Venu Cymru. The food was lovely, and our server Molly was a delight. She couldn't do enough for us. She was very friendly and was most helpful. The manager also greeted us warmly, and welcomed us to the restaurant.

Great food and excellent service from Andrea. Shame about the General Manager slagging off job applicants, and wanting to discipline children. Generally spoiling the atmosphere for us with the volume of his voice. Would suggest he sits in an office and not with the customers. Do visit if you get a chance thou. Food was great!

Lovely evening. From the minute we walked in till the the minute we left the manager and team made us feel very welcome. Great service throughout our meal and the food was perfect with a great selection. Would highly recommend.

I ate here whilst on a day trip on Thursday 8th August 2024. The decorative is super inviting and the menu looked faultless so in I went. The manager/owner is lovely and friendly. Not long after being seated, my party heard a family complaining and very upset about her meal. The manager offered 50% off and then after further upset offered it on the house. I thought the lady was just an awkward customer until it came to my table's order. Nearly half the menu wasn't available due to no delivery that morning (our first disappointment). We did a lunch special-2 courses for under £15. We ordered dessert and waited around 50 minutes. In which time I went upstairs to the bathroom and passed an open doorway where my waitress was with another waitress having a break whilst downstairs the bartender was left to do their job in an increasingly busy restaurant. At this point the manager was not in the building either. The bartender apologised and offered us two free coffees. At this point tables either side of mine were waiting 50 minutes for their mains, lots of apologies from the bartender. When the manager returned, several tables were being offered 50% off or even their meals for free because everyone was waiting far too long. A business can't remain in profit if that keeps happening? The waitresses were not around for most of the time we were in this restaurant (nearly 3 hours). When they were present they had attitude of not wanting to wait tables and serve food. It seemed like they were boycotting someone's business which is sad. They even asked what we were waiting for, when we said dessert they literally couldn't have cared less. Needless to say, we didn't pay service charge. If the owner sees this, please keep the bartender but get new waitresses if you want biz to do well?... The food was good bit this visit wasted 3 hours of my life, I could have got back to Huddersfield in that time.

Went here early evening with mum on a mobility scooter . All the staff were amazing and welcoming in accommodating the scooter . The food was freshly made and very tasty .great atmosphere with a mixed age group in there so suitable for all . Nice to relax in clean and friendly surroundings Definately recommended

Disgraceful service at the restaurant. We had to wait 1hr and 30 mins for starters and mains. When we complained we were talked to by a woman who I believe was perhaps a manager or senior waiter, who said that this is how it works at restaurants (as if I'd never been to a restaurant before!) Our protests fell on ears which were unwilling to listen. We should have never have come here. The food and drinks after the wait were okay, average at best. Don't make the same mistake I made, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

If you’re on holiday and don’t want to waste your time don’t come here. The only saving grace is that the food is decent. Firstly despite the restaurant being mostly empty, it took around 20 minutes to get our orders taken. Then it took around 30 minutes just for the starters to arrive. We assumed it would be another couple minutes for the mains but that took another 50 minutes for it to arrive. When we noticed other people who arrived after us get all their food before us we complained about the amount of time it was taking. However we were dismissed by staff as being ignorant of how restaurants work. When we suggested cancelling our order, staff apologised insincerely and said the food would be brought out now. It was, but then we were expected to wait another 30 minutes for desert. We cancelled that and left. It seems from other reviews that the main problem is the service. My suggestion is that the owner replaces the service staff as they don’t seem to care much for good service. Also get an additional chef as is seems there’s only one person working in the kitchen which is probably why service is so slow. But that’s no excuse for condescending comments from staff and poor attitude.

Nice relaxed atmosphere. Extra pepperoni pizzas had hardly any pepperoni so would hate to think what they would be like without the extra but still very tasty.

The food was okay, however service was extremely slow, starters took over half an hour to arrive and mains took over an hour. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all and people arrived after us and received all their food before us. When we questioned this we were spoken to in a very patronising way and told that this is how restaurants are and no one apologised at all. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone unless they are happy to wait all day for mediocre food.

Shout out to the big man serving us. His spirit and warmth was inspiring. We had a screaming 3 yr old and wish we could've stayed longer but we had to leave to save everyone else's night. Hope to come back soon

We went to there last night the food was good but was shocked with the price of the drinks, was charged 4.40 for half a poretti a pint was 6.95 which is robbery. Service was a bit slow but won’t go back.

went in for a bite before we left, service was amazing and food was amazing. would 100% go again, perfect to bring with dogs when your outside even brought out a free dog bowl. thing we loved most about the service was how approachable and friendly the servers were, how nothing was awkward and how we could have a conversation with the servers like nothing. will be returning!

The seared tuna steak was too dry and tough, not very enjoyable, and the seafood risotto was just okay.

I have visited this restaurant 3rd time in past 2 years, this time the quality and the quantity of the food was not same as it was earlier. May the chef is changed or may be it was good amount of rush (not sure) but this time I can’t give rating more than 3. Thanks for the service.

We stopped here for some food after a long day, the food was nice, the service was ok but they seemed to struggle with all the customers, reasonably priced.

Food is above average, but lacked floor staff, need to wait awhile to be served (can’t see any smiles on their face…) Not feeling very welcome actually.

First of all we came here couple of years ago and we thought it was really good, but not now. It took a while for anyone to come to take order, the waitress was a bit dizzy got order wrong, then the food arrived and to be honest it was just ok and bland, nothing great. In general the staff just seemed to be flat and not very responsive to customers, atmosphere seemed a bit awkward. Will NOT be returning.

Tried to order at 9pm on just eat all Ordered and accepted then at 9.15 the restaurant canceled the order and stopped serving food……. If you don’t want my money then I’ll spend it elsewhere.

Was a horrible mistake. Service was bad: the first I ordered, they didn't have. So I asked for a few minutes. From there on in the waitresses all ignored me. Finally asked host to take order. Came after three others that came in after me got there meals. Chicken was so overcooked I gave up after a third of it. Finally asked for Bill and was told they'd added a service charge. What service?! Paid just to get out and definitely never returning.

Food was too salty in general. Never saw a smile on the managers face. I don't know if it's against me personally. Ordered a table of food, including a seafood rissoto. Prawn was not cooked properly, raw in the inside, god knows what will happen if I ate it, maybe queuing in the a&e from food poisoning :) On a side note, waitress took the raw prawn away with no apology. Came back asking us to pay. I asked what happened to the raw prawn? She said the manager would come back with an answer. It's not a big place, I'd somehow happen to see the manager chit chatting after showing the masterpiece to the kitchen. Definitely deserves a 1 star, as it's the lowest I could give :)

We had lunch at this restaurant. We ordered the beef burger and chicken dish on the menu. The burger was burnt and chips cold it seemed it was cooked before our arrival. The chicken dish lacked flavour and salt and the sweet potato fries were cold. They automatically added a tip to the bill we asked for it to be removed due to bad food the manager said ok didn’t apologise or anything just ok. We do no recommend this restaurant

Food arrived nearly half an hour late and all 3 items were freezing cold! Portion sizes were beyond a joke 5 fork fulls and the pasta was all gone absolute joke for £16 a piece, tried calling the restaurant immediately but received an automated response with another number that didn’t even work. Feel well and truly let down and disappointed by the whole experience. Will not be returning absolutely shocking experience from start to finish, nearly £50 for two pasta dishes and a garlic bread!

Walked in with no booking at lunch today. 2 adults & an 8 year old. Greeted by Tom, a genuine & charming gentleman. Service was pleasant & prompt. Lunch was fresh & flavoursome. Prices were competitive & fair. A great find. Keep it up. 👍

The waiter have told us that the lunch menu is applied on the time we arrive. But when we get the bill. It’s shows every single price of the item and the total price is ridiculous. As the food we get. It’s not worthy at all. We try to explain to the manager about what happened but the only response I got is a straight no and rude attitude. Everyone pls try to avoid this restaurant.

Amazing experience, came to eat here with my 6 year old. The staff was very accommodating and made a special dish for my son. When he didn't like the flavour they went above and beyond to remake the dish so it was a different flavour which he really enjoyed. 100% will be going back when I'm in the area.

Overall quite a good place to eat out in Llandudno. The food for myself was quite good (the steak) so I can't personally complain, although some of my party were mildly unimpressed. The service on this occasion was below par, they were certainly understaffed for the amount of customers - after making a reservation the day previous, the table allocated to us still had used plates and glasses and all-sorts on it for the time which we were meant to be sitting down for. It took about 10-15 minutes for it to be cleaned down for us to finally be seated. From there onwards the service was okay, although it was clear they were understaffed with how infrequently there was a waiter/waitress to order drinks from as well as a long delay when it came to asking about desserts. The atmosphere of the restaurant was quite nice, good decor and a very professional looking establishment.

Good was great, as always, but the service was slow. It was almost like we were forgot. Would just like to point out that we have been there several times previously with no problem so probably a one off. Good superb.

superb restaurant, serving 10/10 quality food with excellent service . We had pizza and sea food pasta which we're delicious. The staff are very kind and courteous, leaving you to choose your food and eat in peace . We turned up without a booking and despite being very busy they squeezed us in on a friday night which was very nice . Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I would recommend this restaurant.

As this was our first visit, we found the menu was difficult to understand. However when we made a decision we did enjoy the food. It was slightly more spicy than we expected.

We wandered around Llandudno, looking for a place to eat. There were lots of people in this restaurant, which was the deciding factor. It was fantastic! Great service from Molly, lots of help ordering good food and wine, and a bright cheery atmosphere with families, couples and singles all here. The sea bass was delicious and the pizza was too. Highly recommend.

Service was slow but they were very busy. The staff were lovely though. You can't fault the food quality, it's always tasty but the portions are rather small considering the prices are a little on the weighty side. I would definitely go there more often if I could afford not to have to think about money.

Lovely meal for 8 after graduation

Family meal with lots of children - kids' food came very quickly, super attentive staff, lovely atmosphere, clean and tidy. Absolutely phenomenal pasta dishes, well seasoned and flavorful. Tom, the manager, is a treasure! Would recommend 10/10

Pizza was cold and not sliced. Calamari was cold and a very small portion for £9 + delivery time was delayed by 1 hour

Calzone literally came out after around 5 minutes of ordering, was cold inside.. after asking them to reheat it, it was back on the table in just a few minutes and was still cold inside. Didnt enjoy it at all for this reason, waste of time asking again imo if you cant get it right the second time! Food needs to be HOT !!

Whilst the food is delicious the service is appalling! Table booked in advance. After showing us nice window table no Staff approached to take orders for a long time. Drinks delivered. Another long wait to order food. Three prospective customers walked out after no Staff approached them. I mentioned this to waitress who said she was 'on the phone to head office' at the time ! After this the waitress got a young man to wait on who also made us wait a long time. One of the family tried ringing the restaurant to get attention to our table but their phone was switched off for some time before it rang. Even then they didn't answer ! They told us that their gratuity was added to the bill automatically. This amounted to £15 which we told them to remove.

Not sure if it was a bad day or what was it, but the service was horrible, to the point I won't never go back there and I absolutely don't recommend that place with all my heart. Food is really normal and not really a big portion, similar to a kid menu.

We ordered takeaway pizza to eat on the beach whilst watching the sun set. The food was fantastic. Catering for gluten free and vegetarian options - which were both absolutely delicious. We even managed to eat without too many theft attempts by the local wildlife who clearly had eaten here previously and knew how great the food is. Would absolutely recommend for anyone visiting.

Excellent buzzy Italian with great food and superb staff. Special shout out to Tom, the maître d’, who handled the flow of customers like a veteran of air traffic control. And he was very funny. Thanks to Tom and all the staff at The Wildwood. If you’re in Llandudno, you really should go.

We visited on a very busy night. The weather was bad which we feel had made it busier than normal. Having said that the team of staff worked so hard to keep everyone happy. Because of numbers this was not easy. However all staff were amazing, staying polite, friendly and professional at all times. Our food was fantastic - tasty, well presented and good portion sizes. We can definitely recommend the Penne Arrabietta and the Lasagne! We will return!😁

Our second visit to Wildwood, we believe is one of the best places to eat in this town.

We arrived at the restaurant and were seated quickly. The restaurant was not even half full. We ordered our drinks which came then ordered our food at 17.50. Other people came in to the restaurant and were served their food before us. I queried the waiter when our food would arrive as other tables were receiving theirs and we had a very hungry 3 year old; he told me hed ‘go and check’ to come back and say it was ‘being cooked next’ again another 20 minutes before our food arrived. At this point we recieved our food an hour after ordering which we weren’t pleased about. There were many tables in there waiting and having meals bought out at irregular times; ie plates out whilst others had finished their meal! The table next to us were told 30 minutes after ordering ‘sorry we don’t have that item’. It’s disappointing considering the reviews it’s previously received. Such a shame.

Came in for an evening meal with my partner. We were seated quickly. The venue is nice and clean and the decor is stylish. One thing I noticed is that some of the staff were singing along to the music that was being played on the in-house system which was really nice to see. It gave the impression that staff were genuinely in a good mood and happy to be there. Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed with my main meal. I had the sea bass and the entire plate was quite bland. I did notice quite a few flies in the air towards the back end of the restaurant. The service was great though and I would still come here again to try one of the other mains.

Wonderful restaurant with delicious food, my experience involved a delay with the food due to a system error, but the manager handled the whole situation perfectly, instantly turning a negative into a positive. Will be returning in the near future.

Food was fantastic, service appalling the manager too busy slagging off Chloe for ringing in sick it was a proper gossip hour whilst the bar stacked up with empty glasses. Dirty tables full of plates and people chasing for their food. The potential of an amazing place as proven by the food.

This is the spot for a cracking dinner! The service is top-notch, and the staff are incredibly friendly—they won us over right from the get-go! They welcomed us with such warmth that we instantly loved the place. And it wasn’t just one of them; they’re all so polite and jolly. We had the pizza and peri-peri chicken pasta, and both were absolutely delicious! The only downside is the portion size for the price! Wish we got more of that delicious grub for what we paid! These are even very kind to point out the service charges levied and offers to waive it if you don't approve.

Very pleasant atmosphere and the quality of the food and service is very good

We had table booked for 10 ppl(5 adults and 5 kids). Waiting time for 3 pizzas , risotto and 2 burgers was over 1h. Risotto and pizza were ok but burgers were terrible. Chicken burger was disgusting. Looks like it was done on the burnt, old fat. Supposed to be served with fries and mix salad but it was only one piece of lettuce and 2 slices of tomato on the bun. Additional service charge was added ( £14) but we didn’t pay. One of the team member apologised for the waiting time but imagine 5 hungry kids . When we been asked about the food we said it wasn’t the best to we heard that at least was ok. Not sure if this is the right approach but . We also noised they were only few ppl in the restaurant but it was lots of orders for delivery. So subs in the future this can be balanced so ppl who booked table don’t have to wait so long.

I had my daughters 16th birthday meal here and I just want to say that the service was absolutely fantastic!. They went above and beyond for us all our meals were beautiful they delivered the cake and even sang happy birthday. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for making her birthday extra special.

Great family meal out, can't recommend enough!

The risoto was very well seasoning, I ate the seafood risotto and the only thing I would complain about would be that the squid was overcooked and rubbery, but was good. I order as a starter a garlic bread, that in the end was a small pizza, so it’s big and flavorful.
