Wildwood Restaurant in Conwy

Came here for tea, service was great and food was lovely, I had the lasagna and my wife had the chicken and chorizo risotto we also shared the garlic bread with mozzarella cheese and caramelized onion and the cheese arancini all really nice, my son ordered off the kids menu he had a pepperoni pizza which he really enjoyed he also had the chocolate brownie for dessert which he wolfed down, overall the food and service was great would definitely return in the future.

The food was top-notch, especially the tiger prawns and seafood linguine, which were simply delicious and second to none at such a reasonable price range. We’ll definitely be back for more if we come back to Llandudno again. Highly recommend this place for a great dining experience.

We enjoyed a lovely meal last night. Starters & pizzas were all amazing & good value for money. Our waiter was also very attentive & helpful. We would definitely return on another occasion.

Not sure what's going on with restaurants at the moment. I go online to book and can't get a table for two at 6pm as there is no availability. So I visit the restaurant and physically book a table. We get there at 6pm to a nearly empty restaurant with massive capacity and waiting staff stood around?! The menu and food was very good but unfortunately the service was very poor and didn't justify the service charge. Plenty of better local options.

Just had a wonderful meal here! The rib-eye steak was fantastic, and I loved the tiramisu as well. The service was spot on—warm greetings and a prompt bill made it all the better. Everything from the food to the atmosphere was top-notch, and the place was spotless. Can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful meal here. They were very busy but also so accommodating. The manager who was working front of house was conscientious about finding us a table and the wonderful woman who served us for the majority of our meal was funny and attentive. Will definitely come here again and recommend it to everyone.

I order from here a lot and the mains and sides are always good, decided to go for a desert today and was unpleasantly surprised to see how the cheesecake came, (mangled looks like half of it missing and nothing like the photo) made for a good laugh when we opened it though 🤣

The spicy pizza base lacked the expected kick, the tomato sauce was quite bland, and the chicken pieces were overly large. The peri peri chicken penne was underwhelming, there was barely any sauce, which made the dish feel dry, and again, the chicken pieces were too large for a pasta dish. The garlic bread was excessively oily, which caused the inside thinner parts of the bread to become soggy. When we were asked if everything was okay, both my partner and I hesitated and said something along the lines of “ehhh, it was alright.” Unfortunately there wasn’t any follow-up or interest in why we felt that way, which felt like a missed opportunity to improve the experience.

> Update: It’s been over a month since I contacted customer care with the case number they provided, and I still haven’t received a reply. Very disappointing follow-up and customer service. 一個字：伏 I had a very disappointing experience at Wildwood Llandudno. They advertised a free drink promotion when ordering a main course, and we made sure to show the staff the offer before ordering. The staff acknowledged it and gave us two beers, but when it came time to pay, they suddenly claimed that the free drink was for a smaller size, not the large beers they had served us. This was misleading and felt like a bait-and-switch tactic. Rather than ruin our mood, we just paid and left, but I wouldn't recommend this place if you expect them to honor their promotions properly. Very dishonest customer service.

Ordered 57 mins ago the app said 25 mins delivery arrived an hour later and was cold! I ordered from Wildwood as the pizza is good as we order in our home town but this was too cold and couldn’t eat it

Wildwood Llandudno offer excellent food at a reasonable price with first class service in a modern and fresh atmosphere. We've visited many times and the great quality is always consistent.. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this great restaurant.

Delicious food, efficient and courteous staff and prompt service. We will definitely be visiting again. The waiter was really good and friendly, it was his first day apparently.

The vibes were nice, and I had high hopes for the seafood spaghetti—until I nearly added a dental emergency to my dinner bill. There were several small, sharp bits of broken mussel shell in the dish. Not exactly the kind of crunch you want in pasta! Honestly, it’s not like the shells were hiding—some were clearly shattered and should’ve been easy to spot. I mentioned it to a staff member, hoping for at least a quick “sorry” or some sort of follow-up, but… nothing. Just a smile and business as usual. If I wanted to play shell roulette, I would have gone to the beach. Hope they take this seriously—because good seafood deserves better attention.

We had a meal here on Saturday night having seen positive reviews. We were seated quickly and my wife ordered a starter and delivered drinks. Within minutes our mains were delivered which we both felt was too soon. My wife hadn't finished her starter. The main food was absolutely beautiful. We experienced a lengthy delay trying to settle the bill as the card machine was often taken whilst attempting to pay the bill.

This place is gorgeous. It’s a beautiful venue with welcoming and attentive staff. The food is great. We couldn’t have asked for a better first night in Llandudno ❤️

We was a walk in on Sunday at around 6:30 for 7 people. The server set expectations straight away after a warm welcome by stating they were down a member of staff due to sickness…. However she did a great job the food was amazing and the service was fab!

Popped in for evening meal, greeted by happy staff who were able to seat us straight away. Service was prompt and efficient from the staff even though you could see they were rather busy.. food came out quick hot and delicious- clean plates all round. Sticky toffee pudding was 10/10 full of flavour and perfect way to end a perfect meal .

First visit to the Llandudno Wildwood whilst there for the weekend. I enjoyed the food we ordered, did not enjoy the hour wait due to waitress not handing in our order to the kitchen for 1 hour!! She did apologise and offered a free drink, but as we don't drink alcohol my friend had a pot of tea and I declined.

We were charged £12 to add chilli's and onions to TWO pizzas. Staff were rude when questioned the bill, ruined what was a great night. Never again!

Lovely pizza pasta and lots of other choices. We ate in and had takeaways which were really delicious and the service is brilliant. A special mention for Andrea who was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent food and customer service.We will return!!

Our food was lovely but what made our visit so special was our waitress Molly. She was so incredibly lovely with our disabled son. He has a rare syndrome and Molly was so empathetic to him, spending time with him, making sure he was happy and comfortable. Molly is such an asset to the business because the restaurant was so busy but she was determined to make sure everyone had everything they need. Especially our son Fin. Thank you so much Molly, you made our meal so much more than just going out to eat.

Just enjoyed a lovely meal at this place! The food was absolutely on point, especially the Margherita pizza and the Grilled Courgette & Goat's Cheese – both were delicious. The atmosphere was lovely, and I appreciated the warm welcome from the staff. The service was friendly, though I'd suggest they could improve a bit on clearing tables and check-ins during the meal. Overall, a great experience, and I'll definitely be back!

Got the fungi vegan pizza and it was one of the best vegan pizzas we’ve ever had in the UK. The cheese was very nice and pizza was flavourful. Service and atmosphere were great, would recommend.

It is an absolutely beautiful gem of a restaurant. The portions were generous and delicious. The staff were excellent and friendly. The fresh oven fired pizza was moreish. Definitely going back again.

Delicious food, good portions and excellent price. Decided to try wildwood while spending a night in the local area and definitely wasn't disappointed. A very busy Saturday evening and was seated instantly even without a reservation. Staff are attentive but are very busy working multiple tables with a quick turn around of customers during the time we where there. It is clear that the restaurant has high standards that servers are trying to keep while being run off there feet. That said food was 10/10, not one complaint. The peri-peri chicken penne was incredible and was our favourite out of the meals we had. Definitely be returning again!

Wouldn't notmally complain about food but paid £15 for a salad which was truly pathetic! The box was basically empty!

Good quality pizzas and good service from the young man who dealt with our table. We sensed that they were understaffed as they were turning customers away with plenty of free tables...a little strange on a weekday. We got in just in time even without a booking.

Didn't even get to try the food. Restaurant was only half full, but nobody came to take our order. We asked if we needed to order at the bar and was told that they were very busy, but they'd take our order now. Great! When we joked that we'd thought about going elsewhere, the server told us, "Go on then," and claimed we were being aggressive, which seemed to come out of nowhere, particularly as his attitude and actions as he grabbed our menus came across to us as extremely aggressive. To be fair, he did apologise when spoken to later and said they were extremely understaffed and stressed. Still, it felt like a bad day for staff meant taking it out on potential customers. Another place ended up with our business for something that could have been so easily dealt with. We were invited back for a meal on the house, but I don't think we'll be returning despite the generous offer as our family were shocked by the whole experience.

Excellent food and customer service-Molly is the best.

Been to this wildwood a few times previously and always been good but sadly this time wasn't great. Granted we booked a table for early Saturday evening but on arrival we were seated next to a large party so we assumed service might be slower?! The staff did look overwhelmed. Slow to take order, we had to ask waiting staff to order mains. She was very apologetic. When the starters came out the plates were not cleared up and after around half hour we had to ask passing staff if they could clear them and find where our mains were, twice. When they arrived the food was nice but wouldn't be quick to return.

I had a Mothers Day three course lunch with my daughter, daughter-in-law, grandson (aged three) and nine month old granddaughter. Two of us vegetarians. The food was delicious, portions of a good size and it was a treat to find a good selection of vegetarian dishes on the menu. My grandson enjoyed his pizza kids meal which, along with the adult meals, was really good value, and my granddaughter seemed very contented tasting a little of everyone else's food from her own plate. The whole experience was excellent, but a special shout out has to go to Cali (our server) who was amazing. She was jolly, kindly, professional and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. All in all, I just can't recommend Wildwood highly enough on every count. On a final note, I am very much a people-watcher. I had a great view down the full length of the restaurant during our meal and what I saw, really impressed me. I don't need to go into details, but suffice to say, if you or a family member of any age have special needs of any type, I feel sure a warm, courteous and accommodating welcome would await you at Wildwood, Llandudno. There is no question in my mind that this is very much a child and disability friendly establishment.

The food was great. The waiter was lovely and was very apologetic because he was on his own and was trying to serve take food our and taking peopel to tabels. He needs more help. Would go back again.

I had a fantastic experience at Wildwood in Llandudno! The service by Andreia was absolutely amazing—she was incredibly quick and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, with generous portion sizes that left me fully satisfied. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the quality was excellent. I would definitely return and highly recommend Wildwood to others looking for great food and excellent service in Llandudno!

We walked past this place and thought we'd give it a go, and I'm so glad we did! Service was genuinely friendly and very efficient. We had the salmon fishcakes to start, which were good but the poached egg on my dish was cold on one side—definitely a spot for improvement. The buttermilk chicken burger was a winner though, both in taste and presentation. Overall, a lovely experience that I’d happily recommend!

Wow, I just had the best dining experience! The food, especially the Double Pepperoni and Buttermilk Chicken Burger, was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch; the team greeted us warmly and checked in on us frequently, making us feel welcome. Everything from the cleanliness to the atmosphere was spot on. We’ve just been to wildwood. I’m gluten free and they had a lot of options which is really good. Molly our server who was very helpful and also was very real which we like. Tom also made sure we got the cookie dough (which is also gluten free) to go which proved to be a little tricky but they managed to do it I really appreciated it So thank you.

I visited recently and had a really enjoyable experience overall. The food was fantastic, particularly the soup of the day which had a brilliant taste, though I was a bit disappointed that some items like the mixed olives weren’t available. The atmosphere was lovely, making it a great spot to relax, but I felt the service could have been a tad friendlier, and the wait time for my order was a bit longer than I’d hoped. Still, I’ll definitely be coming back for another meal!

Stopped in for dinner on my travels, ordered a margherita, its the first time I have ever received a pizza that wasn't sliced. A fun experience and still very delicious haha! Lovely staff and great beer recommendations. Very pretty restaurant and quick service.

Arrived here and initially thought the place looked nice, and the decor was nice. We were a party of 6 with young children and were seated right next to a couple having an intimate dinner for two despite the restaurant being not even half full. The manager could be seen sat at a table working on his laptop with tools and whatever else was going in behind him (decorating maby?) this followed by a just eat guy coming in and collecting food and packing in front of house struck me as odd but I thought the the food could be good and I'm not a snob so il give it a go. 3 carbonaras and they all tasted of absolutely nothing at all, like pasta and water there was seriously no taste to it, a lady out some parmesan on it a decent amount and even that seemed to have lost any taste to it. The kids agreed as did my partner that we sermed to be eating spaghetti and water. The chorizo had no taste either so I'm unsure if everything there has just been frozen to death and thawed beyond taste but it was not nice. My son's steak for 24 quid came out looking the part but was asked for medium rare and a good vet could have got it back alive alongside it bleeding all over the plate meaning it was never rested and the cut was mediocre especially for that price. I ended up leaving and getting the kids a bloody chicken nugget meal from maccys on the way home 😂 avoid this place if you want to actually taste what you have ordered. Won't be back. Oh they did swap out the carbonara when I said it wasnt nice for a steak which was mediocre and chewy as hell. I shared it with my daughter who was still hungry at the time and she was still chewing it when we go in the car... make of that what you will. 104 quid I won't see again 🤷🏻‍♂️

Booked a table for 8pm on Tuesday the 4th March. Turned up early, as there's 9 of us so wanted to be early. Booking confirmed online via email. Wanted to ring them prior with 9 people to help them out but no one answered the phone. Called 2 or 3 times but just rang out so booked online. On arrival told we cannot accept us, despite the booking. We would be waiting for food too long and we can't be seated. Obviously understandable without the booking but that had already been confirmed. Then told the booking didn't exist anyway so no matter what we aren't eating there. Stepped out the door and went across the road, sat down within minutes and welcomed a party of 9. Wouldn't mind, but on arrival at Wildwood there was probably 1 large table and the odd 2s and 4s. What's the point allowing the booking if A) you won't honour it and B) it doesn't even show on the system. Chain restaurant so won't care but none of us will ever go to your other places elsewhere. The chap greeting us did not care one bit either.

Arrived stone cold. The box and pizza was stone cold.The pizza are small for the price that is charged, also no dips offered which is odd for pizza. Shame because the pizzas are tasty.

Nicely decorated and warm enviroment on Llandundo's main street. Staff polite and attentive though they missed some parts of our order including water which was asked twice and never arrived. We opted for nibbles and wine and all of them.were moderately to bad executed. Prices look good initially but they dont reflect the quality of the food you get. Maybe it was just a bad day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Wildwood in Llandudno. The menu's variety meant everyone in our party found something they loved. Our waiter was a standout, providing knowledgeable and friendly service, and guiding us to the perfect meal choices. The food was served promptly, and we appreciated that it was hot and fresh. The restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting, with a great decor. Parking was easy, with pay and display options nearby and free street parking after 5 pm. The level access was also a big plus. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

I stumbled upon this place while wandering around and I’m so glad I did! The food was amazing—had the Rosemary Garlic Bread, Oven Baked Lasagne, and Piccante Carne, all spot on in taste and presentation. The service was top-notch; from the warm welcome to a friendly farewell, I felt well taken care of throughout my visit. The atmosphere was just right, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Can't wait to come back for more!

I was dining on my own hence the atmosphere to me was quite austere.

I had a fantastic evening at Wildwood! The Valentine's menu was a knockout, with loads of great dish options that were definitely worth it. The service was spot on; the staff greeted us warmly and made sure we enjoyed every moment, right up to the prompt bill. Plus, the special cocktail was excellent! Can't wait to come back for more.

Front of house team were friendly and efficient, they were however let down by the kitchen over and over. Massive waits between courses, I'm talking an hour plus. Food was mediocre at best and certainly wasn't worth the price and considering there were just two of us eating, our meals came out 10 minutes apart, even after waiting an hour. The serving staff were apologetic all evening and the person who was greeting at the door spent the evening making different excuses for the wait to different tables and offering discounts.

I had an incredible meal recently and couldn't be happier with my experience! The British rib-eye steak was absolutely delicious, with perfect taste and presentation, while the Spaghetti Pomodoro was a real treat too. The staff were super friendly and made sure everything was just right, checking in on us regularly. Everything was spotless, and I felt like I got great value for my money. I’ll definitely be coming back!

pizzas were good but the calamari was rubbery by the time we got it and the sticky toffee pudding is not worth nearly £8 that's absolutely ridiculous for the small amount of cake we got

Very good quality, food was delicious and good portion sizes. Penne Arrabbiata, Cheese and Truffle fries and Philly Cheesesteak pizza was all great. Delivery was quick and food was hot on arrival.
