I’m a cyclist and have come to wild carrot many times over the last few years. It’s steadily got more expensive whilst service has nose dived. It’s home to the most expensive coffee in the area (£3.70 for a flat white) and I had to wait for 19 mins after paying and not even a sorry. All food seems extortionately priced. Such a shame as it’s a lovely setting, but I won’t ever come again.

We have visited Wild Carrot two weekends running. Now a firm favourite spot for us to go for coffee. We visited last weekend with family and found plenty of space inside the teepee. Good that tables show reservation times so if you pop by like we did you know when to vacate by. Also visited today with two spaniels after a 6k walk to beverston and back. Sat outside today. Both occasions we’ve had cappuccinos, great taste and one of the best around. We haven’t had any food yet but the sausage rolls look tempting.

We booked for lunch at the cafe, but when we arrived at 13.00 they were out of soup and only had a few toasties left. We were quite disappointed with the lack of choice and the toasties were totally under whelming, I wouldn’t have again. We had finished our very mediocre toasties when the waitress brought the condiments🫤 They seemed very disorganised, service could be a lot slicker. Very expensive for what you got 😕

The cafe is set in a tepee tent, its nice inside with a wood fire, tables and chairs and a couple of sofas at the top. It seems to be a very popular cycle and dog walk destination, in fact i think we were one of the only non cyclist there. Its a lovely setting within a farm yard. Its expensive, 2 cakes 3 coffees and. 1 tea was 23 quid, and then its served in paper cups! And no cutlery to eat with. Theres something missing….maybe just atmosphere, not overtly friendly.

We visited here for lunch having booked a table on a Friday but needed not of worried as very quiet. Cafe is in two large tipi tents with a rustic feel. The seating is a mixture of sofas and table and chairs definitely very quirky. We ordered toasted sandwiches and coffees. The sandwiches were ok but nothing special. The latte was in a small coffee cup and was very strong so not very latte like. Overall nice place that's that little bit different but would chose differently for food and drink choices.

Firstly our Tipi and sight was overall very nice. However one of the main reasons I booked this was because the website reads 'fully licensed bar so enjoy a drink and watch the sun go down'. The bar is only open on a Friday. You can have drinks delivered to your tipi - i.e. bottles of wine etc, but we were disappointed there wasn't actually a bar in a barn to enjoy as stated. Also, it all closes at 5pm. Equally the site reads Tipi with hotel amenities/concierge - this certainly wasn't the case. There is a coffee area all served in takeaway cups, so just feel the luxury is taken away from how the site markets the camp site. Overall had a lovely stay, just wasn't quite what I expected.

Out on a walk along the Macmillan Way we stumbled across this wonderful Cafe in the middle of nowhere. With its outdoor seating and Nordic teepee for chilly days, it was a welcome find. If you are out walking or cycling around the beautiful town of Tetbury, this is definitely worth a visit.
