Great place for cream tea. There was plenty of clotted cream to complement some crispy yet spongy scones. There was a good gluten-free option too.

Beautiful and friendly hotel. Well kept clean, beautiful and comfortable rooms, staff are really friendly and helpful, easy access to town centre, lots of bargain shops, lake walking on a small bridge very tranquil and peaceful. Calm surroundings to the parks, restaurants café, coffee shop, museums, Tudor house and palaces try it as there's plenty of places to explore. We loved it, we will definitely go back. Thank you Stratton House hotel
