This is a top floor restaurant looking over Ayr at Ayr college ran by the hotel and catering staff who did an incredible job today in every aspect Food was amazing and so were the staff. They even surprised my 91 year old mum on her birthday at the end. A lovely day and definitely THE BEST VALUE FOR MONEY IN AYR!

Our first visit to Westerley. The quality and presentation of the food was of a high standard, as was the customer service. Good choice of menu, including fish, meat and vegetarian options. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere and has views over the river and town. Prices are great value compared to commercial restaurants. Allow plenty of time for a meal because the students are learning as they prepare the food and serve you - it's worth it for the quality of food and for the opportunity to help young people prepare for their careers.

From when we entered the Restaurant, receiving a warm & friendly welcome to when we left, we had a great evening. Our meals were delicious and enjoyed everything. We had the Chef's Pate + Grenadine Pear with Prawns, followed by the Cajun coated Salmon in a curry sauce + Medallions of Beef in a peppercorn sauce. All perfectly cooked. All of the Staff were fantastic and made the evening 👏👏👏👏

The Munchy Box arrives in a pizza box so big, I mistook it for a flat-pack IKEA table. It’s a glorious mess of Scottish takeaway staples with an Indian twist: a sea of chicken tikka masala that could drown a Viking, lamb korma spicy enough to make you see bagpipes, a pile of chips that could star in a landslide documentary, and naan breads large enough to use as a windsurf. There’s also pakoras the size of golf balls, onion bhajis that could roll down Ayr High Street, and a token salad I’m convinced was just grass from Burns Statue Square. Wikipedia says munchy boxes are for sharing, but I took it as a personal challenge—and I’m still in recovery.
