As two families come together for the first time... It was a tasty fun couple of hours before we headed off to a show. This place does get busy. So, I'd always advise to book in advance.

Been here a few times. Great banter with the staff there. You always feel welcomed. The food portions are a good size and always tasty food. So glad we were recommended this place. Definitely recommend

Wow! What a find. Called in after just passing by. All 3 of us had burgers. I had the King Kong burger and it was sensational! Great price for such a HUGE burger. We all loved it and will definitely come back! Well done to all involved!

Having seen nothing but fish and chip restaurants I thought we were never going to find somewhere for a decent meal but I was wrong. We stumbled across West Coast Rock cafe and being a rock fan thought out give it a go. Wow, the food was really impressive and reasonably priced. I had Steak Diane and my daughter had a massive hot dog! Clear plates all around! The staff were also really friendly and polite. Would highly recommend.

Love it in here. Found it by chance just having a wander around. Went in before some dinner we had book the bar manager was lovely, really chatty and just full of energy. We went back after our meal and had our large family come and meet us. The bar manager was really helpful in moving tables and chairs so we could have our own little area. Everyone we were with loved the vibe and the live entertainment! We went back for a drink a couple of times before leaving and will definitely be back!

We love it here, we come every year when we do our illuminations trip. The food is very tasty and there is so much choice on the menu. Will be coming back next year.

First visit for a long time and it was nice to see it was up and running again. It was a place of my youth. Didn't eat but will be visiting again Saturday

West Coast Rock Cafe is like the locals created their own version of Hard Rock, it’s not quite as well polished but it still has a rocky/ grunge atmosphere with the big screens playing music & guitars on the wall. Service was good until they got a little too busy then forgot one of our drinks but at least they didn’t try to charge us for it. I definitely think the burgers are the way to go food wise, with a wide range to choose from too. Safe place to pop in for food in Blackpool.

Possible picked a bad day to visit this place. Staff super friendly and quick to attend table. How ever i dont mind waiting if it means the food is cooked properly, ordered x2 phillysteaks subs and wings and ribs of the starters, really disappointed, £57 the ciabatta was dry not even grilled and peppers not grilled, steak was average. Then ribs and wings. Left them after trying one they smelt like fish which tells me there frozen and most likely out of date. Covered in bbq sauce, absolutely rank. Atmosphere was good but all in all I won't be visiting again. Trash.

Good quality food and service. Staff pleasant and helpful especially since we had a toddler with us who made a mess and dropped a milk shake on the floor. The staff just took it in their stride. Very nice food and served all together with no waiting.

Normally it's fabulous, but this time (Sunday) the burger was dry and way way over seasoned, far too much salt couldn't eat it. ☹️

Called in afternoon downstairs cafe for a late lunch snack. We had a tuna toastie and a jacket potato, both came with a side salad, the jacket had very generous amount of ham & cheese, side order of chips were hot & crispy. Special thanks to the young man serving, his customer service is excellent. Would highly recommend the food and the service.

Visited this cafe on a random Wednesday evening with a few friends and was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality of this place. The lady that tended to us was so warm and welcoming, she made us comfortable and took care of us. The food was generously portioned and good as well. Will recommend for an outing with your friends or family.

Excellent service, food was fantastic and it has a great atmosphere. Been going there for many years and never had a bad experience. One of our favourite places to eat out in the town centre.

Found this Gem of Blackpool a couple of years ago whilst on a weekend visit, been at least 10 times now never disappointed staff great, food awesome, an evening get a 10% discount if you go downstairs after your meal on your drinks chin chin

We celebrated our wedding with our children and Grandchild and had the best time! They went all out for our special day and I cannot thank them enough. Delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere, both in the cafe and restaurant! X

This is an American themed café. We were greeted warmly by a friendly member of staff who showed us to a table. We were the only ones there so plenty of room. Once our order was taken it took a little while for the food to arrive as it is freshly cooked. The wait was worth it as the food arrived well presented, good size portions and well worth the wait. Not only was it hot but also delicious. I had to use the toilet which I found to be clean and tidy.

Very good meal and the service was also very good.

Am here now ordered a smokie with cheese and chillie. Was with my family of six. Waited for ages The sausage arrived but it was cold tried the chili it was cold I took it back and they exchanged the original Dog was delivered in 40 minutes the replacement took 5 minutes a completely new one I suspect they are cooked in advance and heated up. I loved this place for.meals I has in the past and as a local it's not far but I'm real disappointed now.

Recently visited West Coast Rock Cafe, all I can say is the food was amazing, the cocktail was awesome and what can I say about the Staff they was absolutely Fantastic always on hand, my son Enjoyed his Mocktail, Thank you West coast we will definitely be back

Currently sat in this amazing venue,just had possibly the best burger I've ever had ... kept walking past decided too try it ..oh wow be a new favourite when I visit blackpool...I urge everyone too give it a go ......AMAZING!!!!

Absolutely brilliant. The food is superb and service is excellent. I’ve been coming here for years and the food and service keeps getting better and better. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Recommend prebooking. They do half price specials Monday - Thursday. We have been many times. Its half price burgers on a Monday, Tuesday is half price steaks (selected cuts) and Wednesdays is half price Mexican, and Thursday was half price smokers) . The food has always been tasty and service is friendly. They play music/videos on various large TV screens which is a little too loud in my opinion but the name of the restaurant says it all! We have tried most of the food from. The burgers, steaks, Mexican and most recently the smoker hot dogs which were really tasty!

Popped in here for a bite to eat. Had the chilli burger. It was absolute fantastic. Staff are great and service is quick. Also has live music and the prices are reasonable as well.

Sat in the sun watching the fountains they have a good selection of beers IPA and lager good prices too staff helpful letting me taste the one I asked about

Visited today and I can't compliment this establishment enough. Steak was so tasty and cooked to perfection, all meals delicious and the desserts are well worth trying. The decor and theme was great and the staff friendly and helpful. Definitely try them, you won't regret it

Fantastic Place.Good Deals on Food and the Atmosphere is Good and the Venue is Clean

I think the bacon burger there is great, their house rums are tasty enough AND we got to observe a public disturbance the news labeled a "riot". A good number of police showed up. 5 cruisers, 6 mounted, 2 wagons & at least one ambulance. Most of the area shut down for hours. Oddly West Coast Burgers only shut down during the immediate disturbance & continued operation after.

Outstanding food! Definitely not the usual Blackpool burger. Service great 👍 highly recommended

We stopped by for a small bite to eat at West Coast Rock Cafe on our short weekend away & was kind of left a little wanting after eating. The service was a little lacklustre, with no acknowledgement from any staff members * when my order arrived it came in bits, as in meal first, then bread & butter a minute later. Meal was hot & fresh but not well presented and I kind of hot the vibe that their forte is rock nights & heavy nights out as opposed to being a cafe/restaurant. Customer service would definitely be polished up a little. Not bad.

On a recent trip to Blackpool,we came across this establishment and decided to grab a quick bite to eat. It wasn't too busy so we found a table no problem. Everywhere looked very clean and well presented, and staff were welcoming. The food was nice and not too expensive but it was extremely loud with the music playing so difficult to have a conversation.

We were with a large party to celebrate a birthday, food and service were brilliant. Staff were amazing, friendly and efficient, especially Lisa. Definitely use it again for next celebration.

Best place in Blackpool. Down to earth, good atmosphere, staff are friendly. Plenty of choice for food. Could do with a better standard of 4% lager, preferably one that isn't Carling, but that's a minor personal gripe.

Always a great meal at the West coast rock. Went on the Monday cos it's half price burgers. They do other offers during the week so it's always a good time to call. Had a meal at lunchtime it's was quiet but service was good. Great range of food always recommended

Excellent place to grab some food and be looked after by the amazing team. We visit either on a Monday (burgers) or Tuesday (steak) for the Half Price offer which is excellent value for money. The team are lovely and friendly, always have time for a chat and a laugh. The food is delicious and always freshly prepared to order. Lisa is the best!

I last came here about 15 years ago as a child and loved it, I revisited for a nostalgia trip as an adult and it was even better than I remember. The food was great, the staff are very friendly ( special mention to Chelsea who was very kind and served us the best Long Island iced teas! Great atmosphere and will make this a tradition when returning to Blackpool. 10/10

Always a warm and friendly welcome when you arrive. Seating for 50+ and it's recommended to book in advance. In the centre of Blackpool so no parking facilities on site and the front door is in a pedestrian area. Main restaurant is on the first floor, but there is a recently opened ground floor that does lighter meals, milkshakes etc. I've been coming here for years, it's a great place to get a casual bite for a special occasion (free meal on your birthday) or something less formal. Family friendly, so bring your kids! The atmosphere is spot-on - has that 90s vibe. Order at the table from the menu, no QR code BS. Prices are very reasonable and there is a fantastic burger selection, as well as hot dogs (as big as your forearm), mexican specials and steaks. Separate gluten free, vegetarian and vegan menus exist and are available by request. Most recently I went with a friend and we both got burgers (pictured). Delicious👌🏻 Good choice of drinks, including alcoholic milkshakes and mocktails. The team go out of their way to make you feel well looked after. I'm already excited for my next visit! The west coast rock cafe is a great restaurant nestled in the square in Blackpool's Town centre. It has a great American rock theme and you can tell it has live music roots. The menu is themed around American and Mexican food with a huge variety of burgers, fajitas and more. We had the burgers and they were delightfully juicy and tender. The mozzarella sticks were impressively good with a very tasty salsa and that perfect string pull of the cheese. The staff were warm and friendly. We were very impressed overall with the West Coast Rock Cafe

We went to West Costs first entertainment dinner last night and it was absolutely amazing. Lisa the manager was super helpful, she made sure we were well looked after the whole night and even had a boogie with us 🫶. The food and drinks were to die for! The band were top notch and even learned a song I requested during their break to play for us in the second half. Had such a good time and the vibes were immaculate. Will 100% be joining you again should you do another night like this.

A fortnight ago, my family and I went on holiday to Blackpool to celebrate mine and my husband’s 24th wedding anniversary. We have previously had pleasant and joyful experiences at this restaurant and did on our last visit in June 2023. However, this visit was deeply disappointing. We visited on a Tuesday with the hopes of purchasing the half price steaks for our anniversary dinner with our two daughters. My daughter and I went up to order and asked for the steaks as they were on a deal that day. We were informed by the man who was working the bar at the time (he himself was completely lovely and is not at fault in this situation) that this deal was available in the upstairs area only. We explained that I am disabled (I have severe mobility issues including spina bifida and others too long to list here, as well as using a mobility aid) and would be unable to use the stairs to get to the other part of the restaurant as there is no lift. We asked if it would be possible to have the food downstairs as it would otherwise be impossible and the man at the bar went to check with the chef. Once he returned, he said that we would have to go upstairs as the chef refused to allow us to eat this downstairs and it was not an option to put through on the till downstairs. My daughter offered to go upstairs to pay and collect the food but the chef also refused this as people downstairs may also want this offer downstairs if they see our food. This was confusing, as not only could they be informed that an exception was made because of accessibility but everyone in the downstairs restaurant (apart from us) had already ordered or been served their food. This experience was disappointing and exclusionary. What we hoped would be a fun family dinner became an embarrassing and distressing experiences as I was refused service because of my disability. Not only this, but it is important to note that a platform has been installed on the ground floor with a high step, meaning this area is no longer accessible to me and there is no longer a disabled toilet. I waited a fortnight to post this as I contacted the restaurant directly in the hopes of them rectifying the issue or acknowledging and making improvements based on this feedback. However, I am yet to receive a response and therefore felt it important to share this and save other disabled people the experience of not feeling welcome here. It is shameful for a business to act in such a discriminatory manor as this once beloved restaurant becomes a place to avoid now my family and I no longer feel welcome.

Sad to say for us it was disappointing food. Loved the menu so much to choose. Maybe if we had chose differently it may be a different score. Food looked really good but the burgers are processed meat and may cauliflower coating was tasty but the cauliflower was mush so this dish I am guessing was frozen not fresh. But the staff and surrounding are nice so just that end quality in food was disappointing. Maybe upgrade the quality and reduce quantity and this place would be really good. Has alot of competition in the square where it is situated so it cannot continue to be on name alone. I do not like to end on a negative so the chicken childrens meal was nice and a good range of beers or larger. Does cocktails too. My husband had a chat with the manager who refunded the burger meal. So professionalism and hospitality could not be faulted.
