What I would call "popper good". Good friendly service. Just right

I belong to a biker group for over 60's we stopping for a bite to eat on The Rutland TT route and the food was great and the staff were up for a laugh. A good place to stop if you are on the Rutland TT course safe biking.

Found this while driving to market harborough nice little cafe with lovely fresh food. I had home made pie with 5 veg and mash with gravy very nice Margaret had quiche and salad home made quiche was nice. Staff very friendly and allow dogs in , made a fuss of Lando. Great fresh food and good price, cakes looked amazing but managed to resist highly recommended for meal snack or coffee and cake

Been here a few times and nothing is too much to ask in terms of allergies and information. The choice of vegan meals and desserts are great! Attended last night for the band and bbq night and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

Brilliant service, went out of the way for my sister's gluten free/vegan diet. Food was lovely & a great array of gifts to buy too. A really relaxing afternoon! 👍

Driving out for the day and Almost missed it,sign needs to be higher ! Small Garden Centre but good selection, lovely inside, lots of old style furniture…. Home made food area very well set out lots of tables inside and out , breakfast well worth it , couldn’t fault the Staff very pleasant and welcoming throughout out. Plenty of parking . Try it you would love it.👍

Lovely breakfast, & staff, a little expensive, but everything is these days, just one point, it's quite a long gravel road to the cafe, be careful on a motorbike 😉

This place wss brilliant, a little gem and so nice. Had an english breakfast and cheese toastie it was lovely. People are so nice and friendly very welcoming. But highly recommend to give it a try. Nice garden centre, good value plants and a small gift shop. Please try it if passing.

Afternoon tea was exceptional. Fabulous choice of sandwiches and cakes. Service was excellent, staff very attentive. Beautiful countryside. Would highly recommend 👌

Brilliant ! Stopped off for breakfast wow, it's huge and so tasty, real good proper coffee to, can't fault the place. Quite a few other bikers had also stopped off, it's the place to be !

Janet and the team at Welcome Cafe are so friendly and helpful. It's like visiting family when you go there. Nothing is too much trouble, the service is brilliant and the food is amazing. Keep doing what you're doing because it's lovely x x x

Excellent all round, breakfast superb and the views breathtaking

We popped in for a drink as we were visiting the nurseries. The staff in both cafe and nurseries were pleasant and welcoming. We didn't stop for food as we were rather busy that day. We did buy some vegetable plants which are doing very well.

What a great find !full English breakfast with much much more ! It’s an all in one adventure, from local people’s painting on the wall to cards & things to buy. Cafe is not part of the garden centre. A real local diamond!

We came today for afternoon tea and it’s was fabulous! Catering for vegan and gluten free was no problem and everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. Our favourite cafe ever

Quite a few of us landed on the cafe the other day. We were made super welcome and the food was excellent. From hot food to rolls and salads. Would highly recommend.

Old English village cafe interior vibes. Very beautiful place to relax and eat. You can buy almost any of your daily shopping here. Staff are very friendly and service was great. Food here was also on point apart from some of the cakes…I found them to be a little bit heavy and not airy.

Ventured out to visit The Welcome Cafe Melton Mowbray at Hollands Nurseries this morning for their “Chatter & Natter table” I was fortunate to meet some lovely interesting people. My support dog Ralph was welcomed too. Good selection of meals, drinks and cakes. Jeanette Hodgkinson and her team were lovely and welcoming. There are many local craft makers goods for sale. Tomorrow 4th October is their crafting day. Bring along your crafts and enjoy some company. Called in for the 1st time for coffees and snacks, all excellent. This is a hidden gem of a cafe, serving snacks, coffees, hot meals, breakfasts and Sunday dinners, all top quality. Staff lovely and welcoming.

Not usually out this wayin Leicestershire, but when I was looking for a stop and drink ...this was on route and a great place, plenty of seating inside and out , a shop selling all-sorts of goodies , and a coffee and slice of cake that hit the spot ! Lovely no nonsense service by lovely folk ...out this way need a fill up ...worth a right good stop 👍

Absolutely lovely cafe with stunning views towards Burrough on the hill all year round. The name suits the cafe perfectly as I am always made to feel welcome. The food is homemade and I always enjoy it. Also lovely little plant nursery next door. I am lucky to have them both nearby!

I've been to the place a few times and its a lovely place nice and "welcoming" to customers. Im glad it's here to get people together and just spend a bit of time just to relax. It's got great scenery, good food and drinks. Definitely recommend to people who want a Hot tea/coffee and a side of cake. Ps: The staff is superb especially Jeanette and Chris.

Have only just started going again, since an incident when they first opened, which I won't dwell on, depending on where you sit the views are spectacular. They are closed 2nd to 17th Jan 2023 for some insulation work to be done. Well worth a visit.

For my review, the welcome cafe is a great place to have a nice meal or somewhere to talk to friends. I come here most sundays and the food is fabulous. It's open Tuesday till Sunday, I suggest you come down and intake a whole new cafe then a normal one. The staff is great, food is out of this world and prices are fair. The manager of the cafe Jeanette I can say she is a fabulous person and runs the cafe very well. Suggest you visit!
