Welcome Break Sarn Park Services M4 in Bridgend

Would highly recommend a visit the services were great and very clean but the staff were exceptional especially Adrian, and jo and brook the team from WHSmith. Really helped when my car broke down.

Great services, toilets were very clean and tidy. Plenty of shops, however a little expensive for some items.

Popped in here for a break from driving. Clean and well-catered building with a good choice of vendors. The Burger King was the best we have ever tried. Quickly made and piping hot and nice and moist, very good indeed.

Don't expect a coffee from burger king. . Visited quite a few times. Coffee not available. The services are always clean. Staff are lovely

Nice clean toilets, service area a little on the small side. Why is it so difficult to find a service area that provides decent hot meal at a reasonable price. Ashamed to say that UK is way behind our continental neighbours.

Normally not too busy. Plenty of chargers. Burger King and Subway available.

Not obvious signage for parking restrictions. If you stay longer than 2 hours you will receive an invoice in the post. Would be obvious if they have payment machines visible on site but you instead have to go into one of the stores? Still not sure as we found this out after receiving a letter due to the poor signage...

Not big toilets clean and disabled parking very close

I am gluten free, coeliac, I can't have anything containing gluten. There is no where in the 4 eateries that had anything I could have other than a packet of crisps or a nut bar. Not a single sandwich or anything! Starbucks, Burger king Subway Wh smiths. Poor show.

24 miles from the next westerly services . We made it in time to use the loos

Very neat and clean facility Premium brand like Burger King and Starbucks. So it’s an expensive place Not that easy to come out from the service like usual service stations

We saw online that there was a Waitrose here so we stopped to get a shop. No Waitrose. Can’t explain what happened. Possibly an old Website? Anyway - good little service station.

Nice clean service with a Cafe, subway and Burger King, as you would expect prices are more! But that's service's for you.

You need a footpath towards Odeon Sarn Bus Stop, It would increase footfall and more travelling passengers.

Starbucks staff are so lush here. They know my name and order now.. is that bad? Haha. Always clean and again the staff are happy and chatty

Still the best services on the M4. Lots of Teslas blocking the car park entrance. Should have put the charger point in a better location.

All you need in one place and an excellent shopping experience right next door.

We were on our way to view a car and I needed a break, so on seeing a motorway services sign I followed it... ha the services are not straight off the M4 they are a convoluted way and as all the worn signs were in Welsh and English there is too much to try and process to get in the right place... we didn't manage it very well. The services are perfectly fine if small and I'm sure if you hadn't been driving for hours easy to navigate but sort out the signs, one language and I don't care if it's all Welsh

Unwelcome Break Sarn Park Services M4 After visiting here last week, my friend and I each received a £100 car parking fine in the post today for outstaying our 'welcome'. There may be a different company sending out these car parking fines, but this is not a great way to encourage repeat custom for the food and drinks businesses here. Anyway, it's good to learn from mistakes, and stopping at the Unwelcome Break Sarn Park Services M4 is a costly mistake I have no intention of repeating.

Clean Services , shops were closed overnight apart from WH Smith. Toilets were spotless clean and showers, too. No snap, £29 pounds for HGV parking.

Always good parking, clean and a convenient stop from the motorway. It's a good welcome break

This is a wonderful services. Fast charging for the electric car but the best thing was the amazing disability toilet!!!! It is one of the best we’ve ever used, it’s absolutely huge and incredibly clean!!

Great friendly staff and good food

A rather small service station that made up for it by providing a variety of toys and books my two kids could play with. We stayed there longer because my kids enjoyed the space there so much.

Damn, you pay for services, for what? You go inside and there's no way to close the shower door, cold water.

Not an experience I'd wish to repeat , not even the toilets were clean , in fact a very poor area and surrounds . Food? We thought that a KFC would suffice ? Nope what a cold miserable experience to be had ,staff ? Miserable , service ? Miserable , facilities ? Miserable , sorry to say but over priced , and quite a horrid cold experience had there .

Small services, not much choice of food options (compared to some services), but we were happy with what we had. There was Burger King, Subway, one of the coffee chains, and WHSmiths. There is plenty of seating for these few places. Outside seating available too

This is a small but well run service area. It can be a bit overwhelmed at busy times but we have never had too long to wait in any of the outlets.

I only popped in to use the toilets and queues were long. No loo roll in the one I used, always bring tissues. Otherwise clean .

Great place for a quick stop on a long journey

Long time since I have used this services I must say it has improved a lot. It was clean and in a good state. Used the Starbucks for coffee very good.

Didn't go in, stayed in the car. My partner got some drinks and snacks. Seemed pretty standard stuff.

Best showers in s. Wales good stop

As a caravan user a choose this services on my way to Pembrokeshire as a good mid trip stop. The services are always clean and let free. The site has been will thought out separating lorries, coaches and cars. The problem though is that despite the allocation of designated caravan parking with a driver through facility it is always full with cars, small lorries or mini buses.On my last trip on the 1st July 2024 I was lucky to get the last space, the others being used by a school mini bus, a small tow truck and two cars. As a result of the I saw caravans having to user the lorry park instead. On way home on the 7th July again there was only one free space with the rest being used by cars. Could a security member patrol this area to stop non designated parking. This really adds stress to the journey but not knowing if I'll be able to park.

As services go, look past the fast casual franchised brands and the site is very clean internally and external, toilets especially are very clean. Staff just need the confidence for customer service to go from okay to great although that can be tricky in a busy fast paced environment. Well done team Sarn.

Not a lot of options for gluten free unfortunately.

Good service at Starbucks. Great staff. However, very poor range of very unhealthy food. Starbucks coffee is very bitter. I would prefer a local provider to replace Starbucks/KFC/Subway. How long do we have to put up with the same type of product at all services.

Clean friendly services. Toilet facilities were very well kept and kudos for great shower facilities as well! It's a smallish services so is not overwhelming in the main concourse area and this might suit those folks who struggle with large crowded spaces. Plenty of places to sit outside and also we saw lots of owners able to walk their dogs comfortably. All in all a pretty decent services and a cut above many we've used over the years.

Excellent food choices. Reasonably priced fuel. The cleanliness of the whole place, especially the toilets, was excellent.

2 or 3 sets of lights and a couple of roundabouts to get through to get there. Modern looking but £1 charge for use of cash machine. There's a Sainsbury's superstore/petrol at the same junction which would be my recommendation as long as it's open.

Sarn Park Welcome Break is a good place to stop to recharge your EV and yourself. The toilet facilities were clean and the whole place was inviting. We didn't stay long, but if we had needed to charge I don't think I would have minded waiting at Sarn Park Welcome Break. The only downside is that it is just a bit away from the motorway, so it will add 2 minutes to your journey time.

i went into this service station first time and what a difference this service station is clean and tidy and the service inside was pleasent the staff were very polite, now it has to be in my top 5 for best services in the uk

Half of the stalls had open doors but were still in use, my friend almost got pissed on, and the KFC was closed. 3/5

Clean and modern, but not fit for purpose. The car park is far too small for the volume of traffic, particularly in the summer months. There's a constant stream of cars which, due to the inconsiderate and self serving nature of the average British motorist, makes it almost impossible to park. Also, some bright spark decided to put tables directly in the path to the toilets, meaning you have to weave through people eating and drinking to get to them. Speaking of people, I have to wonder if half of them are here for a day out, no surprise given the nearest town is Bridgend...

Small, but does the job of a services. The kiddy toy section is a welcome relief for little ones on the way into or out of South West Wales

Not a fan of the green stickers in subway, I thought the whole point was that you could see the ingredients, also not a fan of the kiosk where I can’t actually pick my own ingredients

Had the Tom Titts after a dodgy curry at the local pub on my last night on The Gower…. Single ply narrow gauge bog roll was NOT helpful.

Stopped here for a break on the way home and was pleasantly surprised as to how quiet and relaxed it was, but perhaps it was because it was a week day. Prices as expected are more expensive but it's obviously a price you have to pay for the convenience of it all.

Nicest service station I've been to. It's small but has more than enough of what you want. Most importantly, it's very clean. One of the ladies didn't stop cleaning, even when it was already clean!

It's a small Services but very clean. I mostly go there late evening or through the night and there is always plenty of parking spaces and electric chargers (but not the cheapest it is a motorway services). Toilets are nice and clean and a couple of showers you can use if you need. Small amusement section with a few slots if like me you like a little gamble while waiting for car to charge.

Great place for a stopover. Cheap, clean, tidy rooms, franchised food and drink outlets in the services attached to the motel.

Stopped here a few times over the last few years travelling into Wales, great services.

Toilets clean and showers available. Only used Burger King where half the self order screens out of action so long queue to order. Great food and real treat as don't have a Burger King close to home!

Nice & and clean, but it definitely isn't cosy. Very rich echoing ceiling and not a lot here.
