Golden Delicious in Bridgend

Beef and onion pie was soggy. Chips awful, tasted and looked like they had been warmed up from lunchtime.

Came in a little tipsy but food was prompt and service top notch. Most important the food was very nice.

Food is consistently good. Service is always quick. The staff are kind. It's also very good value for money.

Just got short-changed by worker there. Lucky I checked. Complained, she didn't admit blame and found it amusing. Buyer beware. Just went there cos it's easy access from Tesco. If you want decent atmos / service go to Pencod or Leyshons, the food's also better, too.

Not from the area but staying locally, ordered a takeout & collected last night - it was the worst food I’ve ever tasted. We ordered 3 dishes, all 3 were inedible. The chicken in 2 of the dishes were so dry and tough that it was even difficult to cut let alone chew. Complete waste of money as all 3 went straight in the bin.

Worst Chinese takeaway fried rice was just one big lump chicken balls were mostly soggy batter and a small piece of meat inside didn't taste like chicken. Won't be going there again

House special curry very watery 2 prawns 3 pieces of beef 3 pieces of of chicken the rest is carrots and noodles!!. Also didn’t want boiled rice but charged for full fried rice plus the 80 pence. Worst Chinese I’ve had in years! Bring back mrs wong!

Loved this Chinese but u fortunately I will not be back. They got my order wrong and when I brought it back would not correct it which left me out of money and no food. The staff member also laughed as she said sorry can’t change. Disgusting customer service

This was the second time we've ordered from this take away and it's the second time the order was messed up! A bit of a coincidence! The food was certainly not the best, but was not the worst either. I would of thought the orders would be checked before they left the shop - but clearly not....not a lasting impression so I dont think we'll be going there again.

Worst takeaway food we've ever had the misfortune to order. In-edible no flavour full of onions and carrots to fill up tubs, order was wrong food items missing, rude only take cash (wonder why) took back full order for refund owner would not oblige. If your looking for a tasty decent takeaway don't waste your money here. Reviews on other sites say the same. Avoid at all costs.

Must be the worst chinese takeaway ever.wrong items and what came was cold.king prawn in garlic and season green veg. 4 king prawns and onions and carrot.s fried rice came as s chow mein.

Golden Delicious is a lovely Chinese takeaway in Pencoed, the owners are so lovely. They've really improved the quality of their food, it's just a shame they don't deliver. Great portions too.

Got my order wrong several times.

Nice scrummy little snackaroony for 9pm. Freshly cooked while we waited.

We enjoy the fish and chips from this place. We go there on a Friday and treat the kids to a take out maybe once a month

Large spring roll was still cold in middle of it and the singerpore chow main was tasteless . will not be using this place again .

Massive portions of food (the set meal for 3 will feed 2 people for two days!) at really reasonable prices. Quality of the food is great and we alway enjoy a meal from here. Service times is usually pretty good as well.
