Not always same standards but always amazing staff ready to solve any issue , the lady manager with dark brown hair i(forgot her name unfortunately)is a star handles everything with grace and brilliant attitude 10/10 always

Food was class, highly recommend the bao buns and the blossom lemonade. Me and my mum enjoyed it, best one we’ve been on so far. Calm and tranquil setting, shout out to Tamas who took care of us and an ultimately sound guy who looked out for us. As well as Paris and Kelvin who made it the upmost welcoming:)

Our food and drinks were running a little late (a few mins) , our server Duncan kept us updated and provided and free half pint. Great service and food was amazing.

I went to this restaurant with my family. The restaurant was clean, and the food was good!!

Took my Son here on his birthday today. Ordered fairly promptly and understood our meals will probably come at slightly different times. 30 mins went by and no food had arrived. Chased this up twice but very little urgency about sorting it out. By this time 7 other tables had come in, been served and were eating. Pushed for our food again and mine arrived. Waited another 10 mins for my sons meal before giving them a deadline for us walking out. By the time his arrived mine was cold. 40 mins wait is not good enough. They took my meal off the bill but I had no food. My son enjoyed his meal though. I made do with a £4 ginger beer as my lunch! Really poor and very disappointing.

our server the sweet girl was good. Otherwise there was another man in shorts who wasn’t bothered at all to serve us or anybody. We just asked for a glass of water. He was very unwelcoming subce the beginning. This was our first time visiting Manchester and we decided to come to wagamama bc its our favourite. Tbh we were really sad to get such service from wagamama

I usually don’t write reviews, but I had to share my experience at this restaurant today. Food is fair but service is definitely thumb down. I waited over 45 minutes in total for my food, and what made it worse was that the table next to me, who arrived after me, got their meals and finished before I even saw mine. I followed up with the waitress and being told their colleague did not log in the system. The service was incredibly slow and disorganized, and it felt like I was completely forgotten with no follow-up. I had to keep reminding the staff about my order. I asked for the bill and how to pay, and was told to use the QR code. However, I noticed they had a POS machine available. When I requested to pay with the POS, the waitress brought it over with a rude look. If I’m going to pay around £20 for a meal, definitely not expecting this. Definitely won’t be coming back.

I used to work for Wagamama few years back, so the food met my expectations in terms of it being fresh and tasty. The manager was very welcoming and courteous as he took my allergy into account when placing my order. The gentle men that waited on me too, were very polite and inclusively nice . However, I found very strange how the blond customer service ladies didn't quite acknowledge me as a costumer. For instance one came and just dropped the drink and other one just collected it, despite me saying thank you each time I did not quite hear any acknowledgements. I found this strange because the other costumers were being communicated with but not quite me. Since Wagamama is my favourite restaurant, I might pop back in here if craving a bowl of ramen - I will certainly keep my expectations low however, given some customer service associates services / approach.

Food was spectacular as always. Our sever was particularly amazing! Manwel (sorry if it’s spelt wrong) is absolutely brilliant, he was welcoming, professional, brilliant with our kid. He is a credit to Wagamamas

We stopped by here for an early lunch before going to iFly. All the front of house staff were efficient, polite, and attentive. They asked about any allergies, and there appears to be a good system in place to cater for them. The food arrived quickly, it was fresh and tasty. An enjoyable lunch, thanks!

I cannot fault the dishes I ordered! They were absolutely delicious. The GF menu is actually GF, a lot of places state GF, but when I read the nutrition sheet, turns out it contains gluten and 100% not gluten free. The manager came over to take my order and the food was served by the kitchen manager just as the menu stated. They take allergies and intolerances very seriously, I’ve not always had this experience when eating out, so this was new to me! I ordered the edamame beans which are always a great choice! But for my main, I ordered the dish that had a collaboration and I’m so glad I did, it was delicious!! Full of flavour and different textures, can’t fault it… just I could have eaten it again and again! I’m looking forward to eating it again soon! I absolutely polished the bowl, apart from the lime of course! You can tell the chef loves to cook!

We absolutely love this place and always make it our go-to spot for lunch whenever we visit the Trafford Centre. The food and atmosphere are usually fantastic, but something very unusual happened during our recent visit that left us both speechless and to be honest, a bit upset. We have a very young baby, just a couple of months old whom we adore dearly. One of the waiters, a bald man with a long beard who was otherwise friendly, surprised us with his behavior. He stroked our baby’s hair a few times, which already felt a bit odd. Then, on his third visit to our table, he suddenly pinched our baby’s cheek and walked away. We didn’t say anything at the time, partly because he had an accent and we thought it might be a cultural thing, but we want to make it clear that this kind of behavior is not okay. Please, just do not touch babies. If you really feel the need, always ask permission first. Thank you.

The food was very good and of course Siavash made our evening very enjoyable

Chicken and Prawn yaki soba minus the chicken and prawn I got 2 small prawns and 2 small pieces of chicken on this whole dish, basically £15.20 for a plate of bean sprouts and noodles my wife had a salmon salad that accompanied with it a tiny amount of sauce, when asked for more sauce the service staff said ok and never brought any. Wagamama has definitely gone downhill in terms of food quality and service, we used to be a regular here but I think this place is worth a miss in the future, I definitely do not recommend this place.

Food may be decent but the staff are extremely rude and unhelpful. Give them back the same attitude they give us.

Only 2 of the waiting staff were pleasant, the rest were rude, looked miserable and lacked knowledge of the food. Had to ask for plates and then knives to which we were brought only one. After seeing a hair on the plate manager came and was very aggressive,she gave a small discount begrudgingly. Won't be eating there again.

Food was lovely as per and Lolo was just magnificent! Every time we go, he is friendly, warm and never fails to bring a smile. It’s so good to see a person who genuinely seems to love their line of work. 10/10, would highly recommend.

As always the food is amazing. But also as always the sevice is shocking. Sat for 20 minutes (not at a busy time) and had to chase someone to take an order. No-one comes to ask you for more drinks, no chexk backs, empty plates aren't removed. We are sat for another 20 minutes after finishing our food before we again had to chase someone to order desserts. We only had one drink as we weren't asked if we wanted more. I asked for a new drink that never came. All common sense things that are done im hospitality seem to be ignored at wagamamas.

I stopped by a few days ago after work and had a fantastic experience. My server, Bryan, was wonderful—super knowledgeable about the menu and really helpful with recommendations. I tried the chicken rice bowl with a nice matcha drink on the side, and I loved it! The flavors were amazing, and it’s now my favorite dish. Great spot, highly recommend!

I went with my friends for the first time, we are all indecisive so it took us a while to figure out what we wanted. However our server called Bryan helped us a lot! He’s really friendly and recommended us some nice dishes, it was a great experience!

Disappointed. Rice in the katsu was rock hard so sent it back, and a fresh one never came. Asked a staff member where it was, and she wandered back with a nonchalant attitude saying "it'll be there soon" - I cancelled it as I'd already waited. She came back and snapped "it's been taken off the bill" with no apology. Only saving grace here was the (who I assume) was a supervisor, who came over and apologised and wiped the bill. Pretty poor service, Wagamama really need to focus on delivering proper hospitality, otherwise they will end up in the same position as other brands - closing down because they don't have customers.

We had a superb experience here today. A special " thank you" to Brad. He was an excellent server, friendly, helpful and he made my son's birthday feel special.

Wow… I couldn’t have dreamed of better service than what I was provided with today’s visit. Travelling from London to Trafford Centre I was invited to the finest conversation’s and recommendations from Thomas & Bryan. Food was superb, sublime absolutely phenomenal. I will be coming back again with haste, my beef teriyaki donburi was sensational. Wagamama’s never disappoints but the staff went above & beyond today. Thanks again guys, your smiles, lovely words, generosity and hard work never goes under appreciated.

Had a wonderful meal here a while back, and we had a great experience i have to say. The restaurant had a modern, cozy vibe about it. Quite dark, but well lit up and clean. In addition to having a large downstairs eating area, there is an upstairs and an outdoor seating section as well. To eat, we ordered a starter to share, that being the sashimi salmon crispy otsumami, and for mains i ordered the ginger chicken udon, and my friend got themselves the teriyaki beef brisket donburi. Not long after ordering, it soon arrived in all its delicious glory. My ginger chicken udon was excellent, considering i don’t usually eat much Asian food. It was impeccably good. Although, i think my friend enjoyed theirs more than mine. Service throughout are time dining here we’re organised, and efficient. No complaints in that department. My synopsis? Well, i’d certainly give it a go if you’re looking good Asian food. 5/5 from me.

Don’t get ramen. It tastes like air

My glass was dirty, and I saw something in it. I told the waiter, but he just said it was a scratch and made faces at me. On top of that, my husband's food came like 15 minutes before mine. But whatever, the food was good, but the service was bad.

Didn't feel.like real japanese or Korean food, juice was nice, yes a certain mix of normal Chinese food with a simple twist.. Average £35 a head without starters, and one drink and 2 coffees.

Came with boyfriend and food was amazing! I ordered ramen with grilled chicken and everything about it was perfect. The atmosphere definitely added to our experience. The only thing I'd complain about is the lack of enthusiasm with the members of staff, a couple times we said excuse me and we got half arsed replies and rolling of eyes. I work in hospitality and I understand you may have bad days but this definitely stuck out to us and felt a bit uncomfortable

The environment is very good, the taste is nice, but the portion size is quite small, so it's necessary to order some additional appetizers.

Exelent service food and atmosphere. All was exelent. We had a selection of starters mains and deserts. One in the group took some gluten free options from the dedicated menu. All great and would strongly recomend.

I enjoyed a quick dinner at Wagamamas after some shopping. The food is solid, albeit nothing spectacular. I had duck gyozas followed by a decent bowl of Korean flavoured ramen. Sadly the broth was only lukewarm. Service however was quick, efficient and attentive.

The tama squid balls were really good, Ramen was pretty tastless and the noodles were overcooked. The waiter taking our order was lovely and friendly, however another female waitress ignored us when we called her over. Also there was no check back. The restaurant looked very nice however cleanliness was a bit of an issue. The food also made me vomit about 3 hours after I ate it. EDIT: had to change my review from 3 stars to 1, just started vomiting again, this is the worst stomach bug in my life

Not up to the usual standards for Wagamamas. Both dishes were luke warm, Chicken was dry and looked like it had been sat on the side for a while. didn’t seem as fresh and much smaller portions. Really disappointing

The food is lovely as always, they have new items on the menu which I have tried and got impressed but I was expecting it.. The combination of colours, flavours, textures and temperatures gives you the most satisfying experience you can get in a chain restaurant, in my opinion. Prices are fair and it's very easy to just pay online the bill or even split it with the others if that is the case. It's one of our favourits!

The food quantity is really less as compared to other branches of Wagamama

First time here. Ordered the beef teriyaki it was so dry and tasteless, it was just a big bowl of dry rice and even dryer beef .my daughter's ramen wasnt nice either. The bao buns were cold and tasteless, the only thing that was nice was vegetable gyozas . The staff were so friendly and helpful the service was quick but the food was a real let down.

It’s clean and shiny, but everything else was just not for me. The wait between food coming out is crazy. The first meal came out in 4 minutes but everything else took ages. Staff not very attentive or customer service focussed. Paid on the QR code but nobody checks, or thanks you or says goodbye. It was odd and as I said, just not for me.

Ordered a donburi, marketed as high protein and the chicken came in my food was maybe only the quarter of what was shown. Sent it back, waiter is not understanding and has no knowledge. Foods coming different times you cant eat with your partner while one eating other has to wait.

After ordering, had to change choices because something broke in the kitchen. Then they still tried to charge us for it. Had to get the original orders removed from the bill. Also had to remove a portion of gyoza that never made it to the table. Things break, that's fine. Exactly same thing happened on our last visit though. Table staff very polite though.

Was served a beef brisket ramen where the brisket smelled and tasted like burnt plastic and the broth was luke warm. Luckily Kelvin who served us payed attention to my concerns and sorted everything out for me. 5 star service from him, thanks again Kel!

Service was ok.. starter came after our main were eaten and when I politely asked one of the female staff delivering drinks, she looked me up and down and said (with some sassy attitude) "it's coming from a different station, someone would of told you that when you came in!" .... First time at Wagamama and I really enjoyed my Vegatsu and ginger & lemon tea. The atmosphere and service were top notch. Would definitely recommend.

Great eaterie, quite busy, usually a queue, but it moves quick so you shouldn't have to wait too long before you get seated. Food is always on point, we ordered Bau's, chicken katsu with rice, chicken katsu with salad. Chicken and Prawn Yaki Soba. Chicken Shi Shoue. All dishes were great and tastey. Service was a little slow, prob due to fact it was (27th Dec), so an exception, so experienced a little slowness, and the meals (4x) coming out individually and not together in sync, not a big deal, but worth mentioning this could occur on busy days. Enjoy ✌️

I have visited Wagamama many times with family and friends but this is by far the worst food we have had here, cold, different taste, overcooked... no good.

Awful, heard so many good things and we was so disappointed.. if you like authentic Asian and Japanese food do not go here..honestly tastless, ramen soup was like dish water in fact dishwater prob has more flavour. Starters were rank, we love Korean food, Japanese, Thai etc.. I’m not Asian and my homemade food is 10x better. I’d rather eat at home.

We have previously loved visiting Wagamama and thought this would be no exception. The atmosphere was great once we had been seated after a lengthy wait on a busy Saturday evening which I understand and respect. We waited for drinks for a while and to order our food. I cannot digest onion, it causes me severe pain and so I let the waiter know when he asked if there were any allergies or dietary requirements. His immediate response was to tell me that it wasn't one of the key allergens and nothing more which left me feeling uncomfortable. I just had to be very careful in my choices and look up all ingredients online thankfully this was possible with how well documented it all is on their website. The wait for food was a mixed bag... my partner promptly received both his starter and main in good time but he had long finished his by the time I received mine some 40+ minutes later which was rather awkward. What's more, the cherry sauce wasn't present with the duck bao it was totally dry and my main was really dry, there was next to no sauce on it at all (chicken teriyaki donburi) and it was cold... I'm not sure what caused this but it left us feeling quite frustrated and we left without ordering dessert. Both Wagamama cherry and teriyaki sauces have no onion listed in their ingredients. I can't say I'd go here again despite the atmosphere being lovely and a welcome break from the overwhelming noise and lights of Trafford food court. I had no confidence in the staff and the food was very disappointing for me. My partner enjoyed his food but it was a safe bet with katsu curry and squid. He had a very different experience but I do not think it makes up for my own.

The food was really good, but be wary of drink prices. I ordered an orange/lemonade soft drink mix and was charged £7 and a small glass of very average house wine was £6. Would go again, but only have water.

My first time at a Wagamamas. The food here was really nice. I had the beef brisket ramen, as shown in the picture. Would like to return and try something else on the menu, or just order the ramen again because that was good.

As an asian, this food was not it. We ordered two bowls of ramen noodles and the broth was tasteless. Don’t know who made it but even my younger cousins make better ramen than that. The noodles were soggy and waay too overcooked and it felt like they were drained in salt water (the broth). Don’t recommend the ramen är

Was really disappointed been wanting try this place out for a while so we went got seated nice friendly attentive staff took our order two drinks two starters two mains, starters came out pulled pork gyoza chicken yakitori they was delicious tasty hot then went down hill chilly chicken ramen watery very bland the noodles was over cooked I had shirodashi pork belly ramen it was warm broth over cooked noodles think they cut the pork with a razor blade very thin half egg not worth the money but other menu items looked nice on way out as looking round tables as leaving would try again in hope other meals was as good as the starters was

The service at this restaurant was really disappointing. Our designated waiter, Joel, was inattentive. We waited approximately 20 minutes to place our order, despite making multiple attempts to flag down a staff member. Strangely, people who arrived after us were attended to promptly, even though the restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived. We were here on a Monday evening when the restaurant wasn't busy at all, half the restaurant was empty. This really started to make me question whether it was the way I looked that impacted their lack of service? Once we finally got someone's attention, the manager took our order, which was appreciated due to a dairy allergy amongst our party - this was taken with caution which was the only good thing I can say. However, our food arrived with 1 out of 3 of the side orders, and the waiter failed to inform us that they were combined into one. Yet again, it was a struggle to get anyone's attention. Throughout our meal, no one asked if everything was satisfactory. We ordered another drink during the meal, which took 10 minutes to arrive, by then we were already finished with our mains. When I complained to the manager, Simon, he displayed little empathy and didn't offer an apology. Fortunately, another manager listened to my concerns and apologised, unlike Simon, who lacked any basic customer service. It was so frustrating to sit there whilst observing everyone else being attended to and asked whether they had a good meal whilst we got nothing near that type of service. Overall, poor service and poor management.

Manuel is a great waiter the light of the restaurant, knows how to turn a frown upside down. Can tell he works for the badge is proud to work for Wagamama. Would dine anywhere that he works you guys are lucky to have him. Has more potential than being a front of house staff. Hopefully I am served by him more and I can see his progression over time

The food was excellent, but the initial service wasn't the best. As my daughter noticed other people who arrived after us, the staff were taking their order before us which was somewhat annoying.

Food was quick and up to the usual Wagamama standard. Service was excellent with staff friendly and attentive. The pork belly buns are always to die for and make me do a little happy dance every time. My partner really enjoyed his birthday and first visit to the Trafford Centre - thank you.

Really disappointed with the food from the Trafford branch. We come out to Wagamama quite a bit usually attending the Liverpool branch where the food is really good I ordered teriyaki soba for myself and girlfriend. Both meals arrived with the noodles really burnt and stuck to the plate. I was really disappointed they even attempted to serve us this I then eat my sides and asked for the bill. I told the manager the food was dreadful he took one look and and said yes I agree and knocked the price of the those 2 dishes off the bill. We then went downstairs and bought a cheeseburger each from Mac ds. The staff were nice and the restaurant is busy but the food one the day we came was shocking. I have had a pot noodle that have tasted better than what I had here Not the usually standards at all.
