Village Inn in Clackmannanshire

This place has changed. It is terrible. The prawn toast greasy and overcooked. The chicken they use is in cubes not sliced . Obviously frozen. No veg in chop suey. Too much msg. This is the second time I have used under new management. I was a regular customer, but never again. Meal ended up in the bin.

Frequently have a take away from here. Food is always tasty and hot and generous portions .sweet and sour ,beef and mushroom,chop suey and large spring rolls 😋 I would recommend .

Got a village inn tonight and got chicken curry fried rice and chips and bbq sauce for wee one, food tasted alright but was absolutely frozen so in all very disappointing service and food won’t be back

Very unfriendly person on the phone, the 10" Munchi box is a total rip-off with fries that were reheated more than once and the most disgusting selection of meat (supposedly??) I have ever seen. All for GPB13.50. Never again!!

This restaurant was a fab place until it was taken over. Since then, food quality never good. Unpalatable and a huge waste of money. They've lost me and family as customers. Going to give the other Chinese takeaway in the village a whirl. It can't get worse to be honest

Less than average food ,cheap, but so is the food,would not use again ,must be better Chinese in the county,

Ordered a breast of chicken curry (chopped) with extra onions and fried rice. On getting home and taking the first mouthful, the chicken seemed not to be cooked properly and had a 'jelly like' consistency. I phoned to complain and was told that the chicken is pre-cooked and added to the curry sauce so there is no way the chicken could not be cooked! In addition to the chicken not being cooked properly, I do not think it was 'breast of chicken' that had been used. No offer of replacement meal or refund - zero customer service skills. Will not be back but it's a shame as we've been regular customers over the years and the food was previously such a high standard.

I have been a regular customer at the village inn for many years, unfortunately since it has been taken over the standers have dropped.when you pay good money for a meal and part of it is reheated you expect better quality than this. When phoning up to complain waited 2hours for replacement meal I phoned and was told this wasn’t going to happen. I am totally disgustied with the customer service I will definitely not be ordering from here again 😤😤

As always the food was excellent. I always use the village Inn. We use here every 3 or 4 weeks. And the food is always excellent. The staff are lovely too.

Village inn chicken chow mien is the best I have had. Sweet and sour chicken balls have shrunk in size but still tasty. Not impressed with tonight's sweet and sour sauce , had a very metallic taste to it. Normally very good

Got a takeaway from here last night. Food terrible. Chips soggy and greasy as were pancake rolls. Duck dish full of bits of skin. Will not be back!!! Very disappointed

I always went here loved it , but it's went down hill big time , Chicken is like rubber and the rfried rice was unedable sad to say Delivery was fast enough must say . Pleasant drivers but needs a new chef I think

Our takeaway last Saturday night was not of the standard expected from the Village Inn at Tillycoultry. This was always our place to-go-to for a Chinese but the recent change of ownership has seen a drop in quality and we may look elsewhere, unless the quality improves. Basically the pork was a bit fatty and the outer batter undercooked. The sweet and sour sauce was too thick and gluttonous, and the fried rice had an unfamiliar taste to it. We phoned them to complain and the girl at the counter promised to pass on our comments.

I have tried many Chinese takeaways in Clackmannshire,but always return to the Village Inn ..why. ? simple..food is excellent .well prepared and very reasonable compared to other restaurant takeaways,,I know people who travel from other towns to this place

Well just had chips made in the so called old oil n they were great ,food was great as usual a great Chinese yummy haha

Ya que el restaurante está cerrado por casi un año o así hace la comida en esta pizzería está en declive. Había comida para llevar el viernes pasado, pollo al curry era malo, arroz frito era muy malo y las patatas fritas eran asqueroso, obviamente frito en aceite para freír antiguo. nunca pedir otra llevar a cabo desde este lugar, hay mucho mejor comida para llevar que este lugar.
