chips were cold and the sausages were too soft

Part of the order was wrong - disappointing. Food was greasy and not tasty. Onion Rings were almost inedible with amount of grease on them. Chips were okay, whole order was just warm on delivery. Won't order from here again.

Placed an order was told it would be 20 minutes for delivery waited two and a half hours and rang to see what the problem was and it hadn’t even left the shop disgusting shop has really went down hill il stick with Victoria chippy

Chips extremely well done, hardly any cheese and onion rings so over cooked they were inedible :-( Very disappointing as we always order from here and never had an issue

Food arrived slightly late but it was. at a busy time on a Saturday. When boxes were opened contents looked like they had been thrown together in a hurry. Sloppy and through other. Sauce missing on one. Not the standard we've become used to.

Ordered the big sharing platter mainly as the whole family love the tatter tots, unfortunately when it arrived the tots had been substituted with chips that the dog ended up with, shame, was looking forward to it.

Cold and wrong. Nacho wraps Asked for no cheese…got cheese all through it and half a jar of jalapenos in each of them to bulk out. Rang shop to replace but no chilli mince left so explains that. Applied for refund il wait and see if I get it. Very disappointed

My meal tonight deserves an OH MY GOD!!!! Took advantage of the Beat The Clock Thursday special and ordered the salt N Chilli Scampi supper with a choice of sauce at 6.32pm. The value for money is one thing paying only £6.32 (time I placed my order) but the food was absolutely delicious. Nice, big chunky chips and plenty of them and honestly the nicest prawns I've tasted in a long time and I think probably the best I've ever had from a chippy. So big, fat and juicy with just the right amount of batter on the prawns. Too often you get a tiny prawn lost in loads of batter but not here. I'm already looking forward to my next one. Good luck Village Eats with the Beat The Clock offer, it should do really well! (I must also add you normally get salt N Chilli veg with the Scampi but I ordered mine without). Great value! Really tasty food! Pleasant staff! Will definitely be back 😊

Food was bit cold when we got it which slightly confusing as delivery was quick. Food is usually very good when collected.

We always get from this chippy as its the best around! Still good this time round, only issue was we didn't receive our kids drinks with the family meal deal.

“Today I ordered a chicken goujon meal for delivery . It arrived quickly but when I started eating I noticed two short dark hairs. I rang and they told me they can do anything unless the see the food and when I said we don’t drive she then said oh well no one in here has that description of hair. My sisters partner took me to the store and they weren’t very nice. They wouldn’t refund because I had ate a bit . And two girls fitted the description of hair in my box. I’m appalled by the experience and won’t be back .

food wasn't bad but spent £6 on a side of chicken wings that was 4 tiny burnt lumps of charcoal. I'm still in awe that they cost me £6. To add insult to injury the bbq sauce would do 20 wings. would not recommend

Extremely greasy and I couldn’t even eat half of my chip as it just tasted like I was eating grease lips feel full of grease not nice at all and same for the chicken goujons just covered in grease to the max chips even looked very wet when I opened the cartoon nog feeling good in my stomach now. Money I wish I’d not have wasted. This choppy used to be nice past two times got with mum and dad was not nice at all dad had take all food back.

My partner and I always get the same 2 burgers from here because they are so tasty! I'm not from here originally and struggled to find consistent good chips the way I like them.... Got them here!

Absolutely fantastic fish special with all the trimmings. The presentation was excellent! Would thoroughly recommend! As an added point, stays open until 9pm from Tuesday to Saturday. 👏👏👏

Ordered at 17:29PM & delivery was confirmed at 18:10PM on Saturday which it was not. Called over 10 times but phone was off the hook. Decided to drive to restaurant at 19:30PM & stood in restaurant until 20:10pm (2 hours & 40 mins after ordering). Had Ordered Feed the Village & order was missing mozzarella sticks, Tater Tots & Pepper Sauce (50% of the order). Also had to argue to get £3.50 delivery refunded which was refunded in the end. Completely out of character for Village Eats as food & delivery are usually good, however if demand is high, stop taking orders until demand is met.

Rang at half 6 after receving a message saying enjoy.your food from just eat but food wasnt delivered, rang the place girl told me no its still being done. (Fair enough sometimes things can be delayed) Still waiting on food after have been sitting waiting on it over 2 hours from it being placed as I don't drive I've had to ask my mum to go out and see what is happen after ringing them 40+ times and no answer.

Ordered by phone at 6 pm. Agreed to collect st 6.45 pm. Called in just before 6. 45 and paid the £22.00. One minutes later was told dont have any beef for the loaded fries or the tacos... why not tell me this before i paid or when i ordered on the phone? Agreed to change to chicken. 60 minutes later my order was finally ready - so thats at 7.45 - nearly 2 hours after i had ordered. Got home and when i say the food was awful - it wasnt edible. Loaded chips? Chips with a load of fried onions on top , a bit of chopped up chicken - no sauce or gravy. Sliders - absolutely disgraceful - the smallest bit of chicken so over fried it was chewy and tasted awful. Burger - burnt, dry and rubbery. Snack box 4 - total joke and a fried mess - missing the pepper sauce that we ordered. I will never return and could not recommend to anyone - actually can recommend only to stay away.

Shop had lack of chicken so made sure i was compensated with extras of other items, was a close to closing order and i was met with great service despite it being a close to closing order.

Waited 2 hours for delivery food came freezing and leaked out of boxes and all over the bag!

2.5 hrs for delivery,food was cold and over salted.1 of out couldnt eat it because of the salt.last time i got food from new dynasty.that was 2.5 hrs delivery too and prawn toast was burnt.if you dont have enough drivers then please hire some more to avoid our future dissapointment please.

Waited over an hour food arrived cold , my rice was all stuck together in blocks and forgot my childs drink and sweets. Was so excited to try here nut will again

Food was cold and looked like it was sitting a while the burger was meant to come with pepper sauce and crispy onion there wasn't any chips cold and soggy I phone to complain said I'd not put a complaint on as I'd rather say was told they'd send out a new order I said no as it was late was informed they would inform staff but iv not heard anything back food is normally lovely but unfortunately not this time

Terrible! Food arrived freezing cold and items missing. I phoned the shop who said they had ran out of mozzarella sticks and so just didn’t send anything. Didn’t offer any alternative or contact us prior to sending the food to let us know this was the case. Got pepper sauce on my loaded fries when asked for curry. Also 2 dips missing, when asked they said they ran out of tubs so just never bothered to send any or again let us know. Very disappointing given that we had spent over £25

The trio burger didn't have much meat the onion rings were burnt hard n crispy they didnt have any battered mushrooms the chicken burger was gorgeous so was the chips and gravy not bad totally in all will order again to give another chance

The food looked great, however it was stone cold, the fish was also clearly reheated multiple times previously as it was burnt to a crisp... yet still cold.. disappointing as the menu sounds great but won't be trying it again

Ordered again incase last time was a one off- ordered steak wrap called said no steak that’s ok chicken instead, when delivered drinks and dips missing called and said driver have them still no sign an hour later. Also in the feed the village platter got chips instead of tatters and large burger baps which ridiculous looking would have better telling me on the phone and I would have took 1 big burger. So much potential.

Food was 45 mins late, and was both burnt and cold. Unfortunately have had this experience a couple of times - a pity, as the prices and portion sizes are good, and when the food is right it's delicious. Just unreliable.

I collected my food at exactly the time I requested but unfortunately it was cold, everything had to be reheated in the oven and the drinks where very warm, in saying that the food was very nice and I will probably order again hoping my food will be warm next time :-)

Over 60 min late and food had to be heated again upon delivery. The app won’t let me select any other time than 5 min

So unfortunately as I rather did love this place when it first opened, I don’t believe I will order again at least not on a Saturday night in busy times. Food took over 2 hours to come and was freezing cold. I would make the conclusion that our food went on a round trip before arriving to us. Drinks were missing as usual. Given that we were substituted sweet potato fries because they had run out of regular chips. Which was nice of them to phone and apologise these are close to in edible, as are burnt/black. Asked for “crispy onions” in my chicken burger. Received burnt charcoaled fried onions. One of the fried chicken burgers that was ordered was burnt black. I do apologise for leaving a bad review but I would seriously take into consideration of maybe turning off the just eat machine when getting too much to handle. So your quality of food does not deteriorate.

Food arrived over 45 minutes later than the latest “time” approximated for delivery, when we placed our online order. Everything was cold & sloppy (from the food obviously being kept too long wrapped up in the packaging, before arriving with us). Phoned village eats to inform them of this & they just said they are busy tonight. So we are having to heat up all of the food in stages in our air-fryer— and as we have quite a bit of food ordered for a number of people in our home tonight… this has turned into a nightmare. Customer service and assistance has been shocking this evening. Food arriving so late, & obviously no longer freshly cooked to be consumed straight away. Appalling

We've had from here a few times previously and the food has been great. However tonight was really disappointing. The food was barley warm when it arrived, we were notified to say delivery was delayed so I imagine our food was been driven about everywhere else. The "cheesy" garlic bread was slices of garlic bread thrown in a box and grated cheese just thrown in on top. I requested the sauce separately (which has never been an issue previously) but the burgers had excessive sauce on them, which is off putting. Not sure if we'll get from here again, it's really soured our opinion.

Pastor,waffle fries and chicken goujon were good. But garlic bread was much too oily/ greasy. And I got a bottle of water instead of orange. So... Not brilliant.

Literally everything that could have went wrong went wrong lol Turned up an hour late, wrong items in the order, dry tasteless goujons (both fish and chicken) burnt burger, rock hard burger bap…come on village eats! Look at the bad reviews use have, something has to change, use can do better than this.
