Best chippy in Lurgan! Fresh food, friendly service

First time here and so wanted this place to be good after reading the great reviews.The cod supper looked fab with a light crispy batter and crispy chips.BUT, sadly the strong aroma and fishy smell as soon as the wrapper came off immediately raised alarm bells. Tried a bit but had to throw most of it away. If anyone knows about fish there should not be this strong odour. My car still stinks of fish 2 days later, even with the windows open!!. Fish should have a mild fresh smell of the sea. A strong fishy smell often indicates the fish is not fresh and has started to spoil or there may be bacterial growth! Will not be back.

This has become our regular chippy! Not only do they have fantastic gluten free options but they take cross contamination very seriously. Tonight we had a missing dip but a short phonecall later and they fixed it! Amazing service ❤️

Is a chippy also a shop was class looking. Was 1st Try got chicken nugget meal no issues with that was good. Will try again for final verdict. Went again the second time and got the munch box. Still good all made fresh

Thought I'd go here get food as I'm in Lurgan. Place appears to no longer exist or has closed down. Probably due to the covid lockdown.

Very tasty , great value for money

Great chippy - huge portions and big range of food on offer. Also very good with allergens - my son is allergic to milk eggs and wheat and they were able to cater for him in a separate fryer.

Got fish n chips last night and was totally disappointed. Fish was a limp greasy mess and chips were not good. Haven't been here in a long time and was so looking forward to it, will be a long time before I return.
