Had a fantastic night the bar staff and door staff made me feel really welcome and the food was really nice great loved it and can't wait to be there again.Tks for a great night 5 stars

Always visit with family for a meal

The food here is great and really worth eating. The atmosphere has a quirky old / modern style about it. The table and chairs are comfortable to sit at. I went with the BBQ burger, which was fantastic. The sauce was a little too sweet for my liking. Which was a shame, but I think that is what the kids like these days. Wifey had the Guinness Pie, which again was sweet and didn't really have much of a Guinness taste. However I cannot say it wasn't good. I liked it as much as wifey did, and we would highly recommend. The squitch had the Caesar salad. It was also a worthy dish. It looked very appetising. All in all, the food and service was great and I would come here again. Sadly only one small issue. Which was just a minor lack of attention. For whatever reason the waitress pulled a glass from the dishwasher? without checking. On the glass foot, was the finished butt of a cigarette. It had a really strong pungent smell and was slightly off putting. Regardless the staff are very friendly and so personable. Overall a great eat and experience.

Went here on new year's eve for a few drinks and enjoyed it. No room inside so set outside and the heating was very good, pints very good.

NYE, no room inside, so had a drink at the seating area outside which is quite good. The heating outside works well and the pints are good.

We had the festive lunch on New Year’s Day and it was excellent value. Friendly staff and nice decor.

Naomh is by far the best bar maid I have ever seen and trust me I have been to a lot of bars and seen a lot of bar tenders and bar maids! Absolutely the toppopest of the top quality service I have ever had and really makes you feel at home when you’re at joe Mac’s. Definitely recommend if you love top quality service and the best of food and drinks. And not to take any spotlight away from the star but I must mention Jodie as she has to be also one of the best bar maids I have ever met, definitely the best group of staff I have ever met in an establishment! Jodie makes the best brain haemorrhage shots you have ever tasted and the is absolutely no doubt about that. One of the most friendliest of people and great craic to say the very very least. If you attempt this absolutely amazing bar and restaurant these two are definitely the bar maids you need to be looking out for as they the most respected people I have ever had the privilege of meeting. (By the best costumers ever)

Naomh was the most friendly person, her and another girl Jodie made sure I had everything I needed. All drinks and food came out perfect and they are the most nicest staff!

Best bar in portadown by a mile the staff is very friendly the bar woman noamh I think it is is the best bar woman I've ever seen she's non stop a pure work horse, she's also very hot I think I fancy her... jodies aiight too

I was in Joe Macs last night with 3 of my friends when a man and a woman sitting behind us began to make racist comments about us in a very loud and angry tone. I told a staff member at the bar that I felt uncomfortable and also spoke to the bouncer who said he will keep an eye on the situation. Another friend joined us for 30minutes and when my friend left the table, the man behind us then shouted at us saying he wanted to shoot him because he didn’t like him as he was from a different country. One of my friends responded with “but he didn’t say anything to you or bother you so why is that a problem” the bouncer watched the whole encounter and the conversation and then came up and told us that it is our fault because we are keeping him going. How were we keeping him going? Because we are from a different country we should just let people be racist towards us?

Such a lovely wee chill place to be, a great cold pint and a wee feed, would deffo recommend this place, the food is amazing and the staff go above and beyond for their costumers😁

Very nice place to eat in. The food was absolutely brilliant. The staff are very welcoming. The music is at a sensible level, you can hear each other without having to shout at 1 another.

Food is good here, good value for money. Staff have an attitude problem they will stand and at the corner of the bar and talk among each other and serve you with the attitude that you have disturbed their conversation.

Was really lucky to find Joe Macs - We had lost track of time and hadn't realised it was after 5 on a Tuesday, having not eaten earlier, I feared we may have to go hungry until we found this hidden gem! Amazing, friendly service AND food after 5 on a Tuesday? I'm sold - would recommend 10 out of 10.

Absolutely fantastic. In town for work and looking for a nice place to have a pint and a decent meal. After 5 on a Tuesday so wasn't expecting to find much of course. Found this one though. Meal was perfect, washed down with a few pints and very well priced. Staff were lovely. Very highly recommend! Looking for a sit down meal after 5 on a Tuesday? This is your place!

Took the advice of a nice crazy local and went in. Amazing food!!!! The sharing platter was to die for and the staff were so nice. I would thoroughly recommend this place!

Great place for Sunday lunch, food was brilliant, staff great and very reasonably priced, will definitely be back again.

Went for night out with friends. Food was exceptional, portion sizes were too much to eat (no complaints) cocktails and drinks were fab. Live band was good too. Have to say the waitress we had probably sold the place to us, nothing better than having a great server at your table, nothing was too much bother for her (thanks)

Food and service was sound. Decor inside looks abit like someone kicked a few buckets of paint up the wall and threw the photos until they stuck.

Absolutely fantastic food and wonderful friendly service. The sizzling chilli chicken legitimate came out sizzling and the serlion steaks cooked to perfection couldn't ask for a better meal and for a great price too. Cocktails were outstanding and great flavours. Would highly recommend!

Great place to meet up for quite drink outside in beer garden. Serves food and coffee, lovely clean place and very pleasant staff.

Loved their fry! 😊 So far this is the best fry we've tried upon arriving in the Northern Ireland. We loved how cozy the place is and would definitely come back and bring our friends over.
