The lashings of gravy were missing which ruined it for me .

The best Indian restaurant in Tameside without a doubt , food always tasty and consistent and fresh 100% wouldn’t go anywhere else

Best vindaloo and egg fried rice in manchester, first time i tried the Vegi chat puree, 10/10 extremely tasty. Seriously good chef. Will be back soon cheers.

First time order from here and was disappointed for the price the portions left a bad taste in my mouth after I ate it

Everytime ive ordered from here. i am always missing the drinks. i even asked the delivery driver where the drink was and he said in thenbag. it was not in the bag

A huge disappointment. Food was too salty, flies interfering with the food, garlic naan arrived with no garlic and no towels provided to clean hands at the end. Terrible experience.

Excellent food. Always enjoyed by our group of friends, but seems sadly overlooked as it's tucked away behind the bus station. Wheelchair accessible, and disabled toilet is, unlike many in cheeper restaurants, not used as a store room... Clean too. I love the cherry trees in the restaurant - unusual but brightens the place up. A place I have eaten in many time but never been glutened.

Egg fried rice 10/10!!! Vindaloo 10/10!!! Chops 10/10!!! Aloo parata 10/10!!! Best tasting food local will deffo be back again.

Came on Saturday we ordered a bottles of cobra but they gave us half pints did tell the waiter who choose to ignore it we also asked for desi style and no flavour what so ever was just bland the garlic Nan couldnt taste any garlic on it ….when we was leaving they didn’t even say bye to us we had to say thanks no wonder they was dead on a Saturday night!!! Overall the main thing is customer service double check when customers order drinks get it right!!

Too much oil used, extremely fatty and oily curry. Requested less oil used as the last few times has been so oily you could pour it off the top of the curry. They didn’t accommodate and still used so much cooking oil it was swimming in it. Absolutely disgusting never ordering again. Food used to be lovely it’s disgusting now

have used other so called Indian restaurants in hyde, I stopped because they where a greasy mess, and horrible. I didn't no the viceroy delivered, absolutely brilliant 👏. slightly dearer than other, but you get what you pay for. spot on, won't be using any others again.

Can’t fault the food but the service is absolutely terrible! Struggled to get any sort of service when we wanted to order anything. The man who served us was miserable! We spent £140 and left a £5 tip and he just grunted at us. Couldn’t crack a smile. Nobody said thanks or acknowledged us as we left. No wonder there was hardly anybody in on a Friday night. Won’t be going back.

What seemed like a defrosted keema bhuna...very watery and tasteless...have often eaten in this restaurant and been very pleased....however, response when phoned with feedback was shocking!!...apparently it don't matter if your food is poor if you've ordered through a delivery app!!!

Absolutely delicious!! The mixed starter for 2 !! The meat was so tender !! Mmmmmm loved it my mate said he wished there was a little bit more sauce with the curry ! It still tasted great tho he had a rogan !

Both the korma and tikka masala were congealed and swimming with water. Everything was stone cold, could have cut glass with the chips. Completely inedible. Never had a problem here before!

The little black flys buzzing round everyone really put me off and altered my oppinion of what would have been an enjoyable evening . Entertainment was ok and everyone enjoyed themselves but the food should be quality over quantity and i couldnt say that anything else apart from it could be better , also mistake or not someone tried to sneakily charge my partner £22 extra by hiding the card machine from sight to tap but when asked to check amount it was £34 instead of £12

The food was delicious however it was ridiculously expensive, especially for what we ordered. The service could do with a little work but the staff were really friendly. The atmosphere is bland but the decor is beautiful. The website mentions a fish tank....the tank needs more fish. I think there were three altogether....

Usually have no problems but the last time I ordered we received 2x vegetable samosa instead of 1x samosa and 1x shamee kebab. I don’t like writing negative reviews so I left it. However we’ve just ordered again tonight and have received boiled rice instead of pilau. Both times the order has been late too. More time and attention needs to be paid to ensure a customers order is accurate.

Curry wasn’t like it usually is from here had no taste and was like water and seemed over priced than usual big let down we always order from here didn’t even eat it was that rubbish

All onion bahjis were hard and broke when cutting into them , curry sauce was like water , masala tasted vinegary and garlic nanns were tough with barely any garlic on , won’t order from there again , used to use this place a lot !!

I specifically ordered it for 22:35 as I wasn’t home due to collecting my wife from the train station when they called me I explained this and the driver diddnt seem to care and left the package on my door step with no one home for 25 minutes resulting in cold food

I used to really rate this restaurant but all of a sudden the prices have almost doubled on some items like starters quantity is smaller and if you order a curry you don't get the same option to add rice so I ended up with curry with no rice as I assumed for the price it included a portion of normal rice. I won't be back, lots of new places opening up in nearby Stalybridge rather spend my money elsewhere. My bill was £18 for a poppodom, 2 small starters 3 tubs of sauce and a chicken madras, extortionate

I’m fed up of getting texts saying driver is on the way only to wait another 45 minutes to get it. I’ve nerved had a late delivery, then for the driver tk ring doorbell and leave the order on the step not happy

We had the Sunday set menu for £12 per person. Curry's were very tasty and they catered for our spice levels. Great portion size and well worth the money.

Wouldn’t even give a 1 star but it’s required in order to post. My 11 year old has serious food poisoning from this curry house. He is extremely unwell. Avoid at all costs!

Totally brilliant! The food as always is delicious....I've been going to this restaurant for over 25 years when its been under different names but always managed by BAZ brilliantly. When I used to come back from the city games BAZ would often come to my car and talk while my takeaway was being cooked great guy great place great food

It’s my first time ordering from here and I was suitably impressed. The food was piping hot and delivered earlier than the stated time. We went for just a basic lamb curry which was very flavoursome. The meal was very reasonably priced and definitely worth the money. We will definitely use again.

First time I’ve ordered from here, great variety of choice on the menu. Food arrived on time, was hot & definitely value for money with the portion sizes. Had starters & mains and everything tasted delicious. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

This is a lovely place food good my only complaint is we felt rushed by staff coming up asking if we wanted main meal when clearly you could see we were finishing our starter , l did not like being served by four different people as find it hard to tip ! Appreciate that sometimes staff change ect but they were all still there , Also when we had empty glasses waiting for bill we had to try to catch eye of one of the four , Back to feeling rushed there was 8-10tables emty so did not make sense . I will try again so watch this space !

Absolutely gutted as never had a problem before. I never received a curry sauce with my lamb tikka as the menu states. So had to have lamb with chips which was of course dry as a bone. Fella’s rogan josh tasted nothing like it normally does, literally half onions in it not even cut & just pure tomato’s. Had chicken chatt purée which was good, and the chicken chilli Fry was decent but again didn’t taste as it normally does. Ruined our Saturday night take away 😟

Absolutely abysmal. Sorry. The food is good from here if you actually get it. I get that places are busy sometimes, but they lied on the phone twice to us. We had a family meal and a big order for delivery at £90+. They took 2 hours to deliver whilst stating 45 mins placing the order on their OWN website. When I called at 1hr15, they lied and told me it was being packed to go in a few mins, then 30 mins later when I called again told me it hadn't even left yet. They also cut the phone off on two occasions as well. When we asked for a refund, we got told it had just left and they just kept me waiting on the phone without bothering to apologise during the entire thing when I kept asking for a refund. What a complete joke. The food may be good, 2 hours later... but thanks for ruining our family evening. They're a bunch of clowns. They didn't apologise once. Won't be ordering again.
